THE BIBLE - WHAT REALLY HAPPENED

A Biography of Yahweh

Numbers

And Yahweh spoke to Moses in the Wilderness of Sinai, in the Tent of Meeting, on the 1st day of the 2nd month in the 2nd year after they had gone out of Egypt.

Moses was told to take the number of all the assembly of the sons of Israel, in their families, by the house of their fathers, with the number of names, every male by their head-counts, from 20 years old and up, all in Israel who were able to go to war. Moses and Aaron had to number them by their legions, and a man from every tribe would be with them, each one head of the house of his fathers.

Of the twelve tribes, Yahweh then proceeded to read out a list of names, rulers of the tribes of their fathers, who would accompany them.

And Moses and Aaron took the twelve men who were designated by name, and they gathered all the assembly together on the 1st of the 2nd month, and they declared their ancestry in their families, by the house of their fathers, in keeping with the number of the names, from 20 years old and up, each one individually. So Moses numbered them in the Wilderness of Sinai, as Yahweh commanded him.

So from the sons of Reuben, Israel's oldest son, those who were male of 20 years old and up, all those who were able to go out to war, 46,500 were numbered.

Of the sons of Simeon, the total was 59,300.

Of the sons of Gad, they numbered 45,650.

The sons of Judah amounted to a total of 74,600.

Of the sons of Issachar, they added up to 54,400.

The sons of Zebulun totaled 57,400.

Of the sons of Joseph, of the sons of Ephraim, they numbered 40,500.

The sons of Manasseh numbered 32,200.

The sons of Benjamin amounted to 35,400.

Of the sons of Dan, their total was 62,700.

The sons of Asher numbered 41,500.

And of the sons of Naphtali, all those able to go to war aged 20 and up numbered 53,400.

Thus, the total numbered were 603,550, all male and aged 20 and upwards, able to go to war, numbered by the house of their fathers.

This total did not include the Levites. Yahweh told Moses not to number the tribe of Levi, but the Levites had to be appointed over the Tabernacle of the Testimony, and over all its utensils, and over all the things that belong to it. Not least of which, was the Ark. They had to carry the Tabernacle and all its contents, and camp around it. When the Tabernacle had to go forward the Levites had to take it down, and when it was to be pitched the Levites should set it up, and any stranger who came near it was to be killed.

If we say 1900 BC for the birth of Jacob and 1445 for the Numbers census, and we take 25 years per generation, then over the 455-year period 18 generations have elapsed. If we double the 603,550 to allow for women, and we double again to allow for those under 20 plus the existence of the Levites, then we have a growth of from 5 (starting by counting Jacob plus two wives and two concubines) to 2,414,200 = 482,840 times over 18 generations = 2.069 times per generation. This is equivalent to 4.138 births that survive to reproduce, per woman.

Now at the first stage of this they had a sort of "golden age", when they were either back in Canaan or were being treated very well, prospering, and multiplying in Egypt. The first stage lasted about 300 years, followed by the supposed oppression, bondage or slavery under the later Pharaohs, which was about 155 years.

By the 20th century AD it would turn out that these people would have a long history of complaining and whining about being "persecuted", "annihilated", "massacred", "oppressed", "exterminated", "starved", etc., when the only thing that ever happened to them was being booted out from various nations and locations when the native population eventually got wise to their nefarious, parasitic behavior and detrimental, subversive impact on any host society. So, the so-called "slavery" in Egypt was certainly not all it was cracked up to be, and many people even as late as 20th or 21st century AD would have been more oppressed in their daily lives than the Israelites ever were in Egypt.

And Yahweh's nanobots and cell repair machines were mostly dedicated to the patriarchs and the heads of the houses of Israel, to extend their lifespan and maintain good health. Early on, when the population was small, the nanobots' coverage could have extended to some of the ordinary people, but these were increasingly left behind as the population swelled.

The patriarchs enjoyed a long lifespan, and also tended to reproduce at an older age. After all, they did have all their duties such as communicating with Yahweh and administrative work. But most of the people would have had a shorter lifespan and reproduced at an earlier age, and so we can say 25 years per generation.

Suppose they had 300 years = 12 generations of good growth, and the final ~150 years or 6 generations were not so good, with population 'only' going up 10 times over the bad times. And so the first period of 12 generations has a total growth of 48,284 times, which is 2.456x per generation, or 4.913 births that survive to reproduce, per woman. The final 6 generations has total growth of ten times, which is 1.468x per generation, or 2.935 surviving births per woman.

There was the point where Yahweh and Moses ordered the Levites to kill about 3,000 men, following the incident with the molten golden calf. But that was within a year of the census, so it's a loss of some 0.125% of the total population, and doesn't greatly change the growth rates.

And so, as a Type II superbeing, Yahweh did have the power to multiply an individual or tribe's seed relatively greatly, compared to other tribes. He could employ various tactics to benefit 'his' chosen people at the expense of other tribes. Problem is, a real god would either operate in such a way as to benefit everyone, or at least, all innocent beings of goodwill, or would follow a policy of non-intervention until such time as the emerging civilization had matured.

But Yahweh was a devil posing as a god, and his primary motive for working to multiply his chosen people was so that they could become a disruptive, subversive, destructive influence on mankind and its civilization. He also loved seeing animals or people being killed, he enjoyed the smell of blood, and he liked to be worshiped by his hapless servants.

Now Yahweh had recently set up a system for valuing the worth of each of his people, by the value of a Sanctuary shekel of silver. The census had showed that his chosen people amounted to around 2,414,200. The highest valuation for a male 20 years to 60 years was 50 shekels of silver, and the lowest, for a female between a month and 5 years old was 3 shekels of silver.

And so, if we take 25 shekels as an average, the total value of all the people by this time was 60,355,000 shekels of silver, which is 20,118 talents of silver. This compares with a little more than 100 talents of silver used for the Sanctuary: 100 talents used to make 100 silver sockets, and 1,775 shekels used to make clasps for the pillars.

Apart from the value of the Sanctuary, including its gold, there was the value of the animals, and any land such as fields of barley, although his people were nomadic.

Yahweh could have been reckoning that he'd used 1.230922124x1011 kg of his deuterium/helium3 fuel in getting to Earth, and on that basis it had cost him ~51 tonnes per person at this point, an amount that would decrease as the population - his investment - grew.

Alternatively, 1.230922124x1011 kg of deuterium/helium3 for 20,118 talents of silver is ~6,118 tonnes of his fusion fuel mix for each talent of silver, and decreasing as his investment multiplies.

Next, Yahweh told Moses and Aaron how every man of the sons of Israel should pitch by their own flag, with the ensign of their father's house. They should pitch at some distance from the Tent of Meeting.

On the eastern side those of the flag of the camp of Judah should pitch. And next to them should be the tribe of Issachar. Then alongside must be the tribe of Zebulun. These three tribes on the eastern side amounted to 186,400.

On the southern side should be the flag of the camp of Reuben. And next to them should be the tribe of Simeon. Then alongside must be the tribe of Gad. These three tribes on the southern side amounted to 151,450.

The Tent of Meeting had to advance with the company of the Levites in the center.

On the western side should be the flag of the camp of Ephraim. And by them should be the tribe of Manasseh. Then alongside must be the tribe of Benjamin. These three tribes on the western side amounted to 108,100.

On the northern side should be the flag of the camp of Dan. And next to them the tribe of Asher. Then next should be the tribe of Naphtali. These three tribes on the northern side amounted to 157,600.

And the sons of Israel did as Yahweh had commanded Moses. They pitched camp by their flags and they set forward, everyone in their families. The total who were numbered was 603,550, but that excluded the Levites as directed by Yahweh.

Yahweh told Moses to bring the tribe of Levi and cause them to stand before the priest Aaron, where they should attend to his needs, and the needs of the whole assembly before the Tent of Meeting, to carry out the work of the Tabernacle. And they had to attend to all the furniture of the Tent of Meeting.

Moses was told to give the Levites to Aaron and to his sons - the ones whom Yahweh hadn't killed - as they were wholly given to him out of the sons of Israel. And Aaron and his sons had to attend to their priesthood. And any stranger who came near should be killed.

Yahweh told Moses a bizarre supposition - that Yahweh had taken the Levites from among the sons of Israel in place of all the firstborn who opens the womb among the sons of Israel. "Therefore the Levites shall be Mine, because all the firstborn are Mine, for on the day in which I struck all the firstborn in the land of Egypt I set apart for myself all the firstborn in Israel. From man to animal they are Mine. I am Yahweh."

This is rather like a crazed serial killer and bank robber telling the police that on the day he committed his mass murder he set apart for himself all of the apples in all of the orchards, and because of that he decided to take the bank's money as his own, in place of 'his' apples.

Yahweh carried on speaking to Moses in the Wilderness of Sinai, telling him to number the Levites in the house of their fathers, in their families. Every male from a month old must be numbered.

Well, Yahweh had just got the census results for the other tribes, and he wanted to get the remaining data in to finalize drawing up his balance sheet.

The sons of Levi were numbered by their names: Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.

The Gershon total amounted to 7,500. Of Kohath, the total came to 8,600. And of Merari, those who were numbered were 6,200. Thus, the total Levites who were numbered were 22,300. However, Yahweh dropped off the 300 and wrote it down as 22,000. Either way, the addition of the Levites increased the total numbered by around 3.7%.

The families of the Gershonites were to pitch behind the Tabernacle, facing west. They were responsible for the Tabernacle, the Tent, its coverings, the hanging for the entrance of the Tent of Meeting, the hangings of the court and the curtain for the door of the court.

The families of the Kohathites had to pitch on the side of the Tabernacle facing south. Their duties included the most interesting job; their charge included the Ark. Given that the Ark could have an internal negative charge of up to 70 Coulombs, this might have seemed like Yahweh's pun and a type of 'humor'. However, Yahweh was not the humorous type; some translations of Yahweh's writing have the word used to describe the duties and responsibilities of the other two groups as well. In addition to the Ark, the Kohathites took care of the Table, the Lampstand, the altars, and the utensils of the Sanctuary.

The families of the Mahlites and the Mushites, who were the families of Merari, had to pitch on the side of the Tabernacle facing north. Under their custody was the boards and bars of the Tabernacle, and the pillars and sockets, and all its utensils, and all who serve there, and all the pillars of the court, and their sockets, pins and cords.

And those who camped before the Tabernacle towards the east, before the Tent of Meeting, were Moses, Aaron and his surviving sons.

Then Yahweh told Moses to number all the firstborn of the males of the sons of Israel from a month old and upwards, taking the number of their names. He added, "And you shall take the Levites for Me - I am Yahweh - in place of all the firstborn among the sons of Israel, and the cattle of the Levites in place of all the firstborn among the cattle of the sons of Israel."

And Moses numbered all the firstborn among the sons of Israel from one month and up, as Yahweh commanded him. And of these, the total numbered came to 22,273.

Then Yahweh said to Moses, "Take the Levites in place of all the firstborn among the sons of Israel, and the cattle of the Levites in place of their cattle, and the Levites shall be mine. I am Yahweh. And for those who are to be redeemed of the 273 of the firstborn of the sons of Israel, who are over and above the Levites, you shall take 5 shekels pieces per head. You shall take them by the shekel of the Sanctuary. And you shall give the money with which the excess number of them is to be redeemed to Aaron and his sons."

Now the reason for Yahweh's creative accounting, or 'rounding error', has become apparent. He needed a surplus of firstborns over Levites, and the only way to do that was to lie about the numbers. Moses and Aaron had done as Yahweh commanded, and reckoned up the Gershonites as 7,500, the Kohathites as 8,600, and the Merari families as 6,200, making the total 22,300, which was not the answer Yahweh wanted. So he "gaslit" Moses and Aaron, and changed their total to 22,000, so that he had a profit of 1,365 shekels instead of a loss of 135 shekels.

And Moses, after being caused to doubt his own memory and judgment, took the redemption money, 1,365 shekels, from the firstborn of the sons of Israel, who were alleged to be over and above those who were redeemed by the Levites. Then he gave the money to Aaron and his sons.

Yahweh spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying, "Take the numbers of the sons of Kohath from among the sons of Levi, in their families, by the house of their fathers, from 30 years old and upwards, up to 50 years old, all who enter into the division, to do the work in the Tent of Meeting."

Yahweh went into details of their duties, and the most interesting part here is how the Ark was to be handled.

"This shall be the service of the sons of Kohath in the Tent of Meeting, about the especially holy objects. And when the camp sets forward, Aaron and his sons shall come and take down the covering veil, and cover the Ark of Testimony with it, and they shall put the covering of badgers' skins on it, and spread over it a cloth entirely of blue, and they shall insert its poles."

The other items would be treated similarly, except they did not also have the covering veil, which appears entirely reasonable. Yahweh did not want to make the Ark seem like the most important item by far, and the only item that could kill unauthorized handlers. He wanted to maintain a fear and illusion that any of the holy objects could kill if not treated properly, and his killing of Nadab and Abihu had served well to create the legend.

"And on the Table of showbread they shall spread a cloth of blue, and put the dishes on it, and the spoons, and the bowls, and the jugs for offering, and the showbread shall be on it. And they shall spread a cloth of scarlet on them, and cover it with a covering of badgers' skins, and they shall insert its poles.

"And they shall take a cloth of blue, and cover the Light-holder of the Light, and its lamps, and its tongs, and its snuff dishes, and all its oil utensils with which they attend to it. And they shall put it and all its utensils in a covering of badgers' skins, and they shall put it on a pole.

"And they shall spread a cloth of blue on the golden altar and cover it with a covering of badgers' skins, and they shall insert its poles.

"And they shall take all the utensils of service, with which they serve in the Sanctuary, and put them in a cloth of blue, and cover them with a covering of badgers' skins, and put them on a carrying beam.

"And they shall take away the ashes from the altar, and spread a purple cloth on it. And they shall put on it all its utensils with which they serve around it, that is, the censers, the forks, and the shovels, and the basins, all the utensils of the altar, and they shall spread on it a covering of badgers' skins and insert its poles."

So this was all to be performed by Aaron and his two sons, who were all among Yahweh's top four trusted minions, and then Yahweh had to provide a warning for the Kohathites, so that they did not mishandle the Ark, or as he would have it, any of the holy objects.

"And when Aaron and his sons have made an end of covering the Sanctuary, and all the utensils of the Sanctuary, as the camp is to advance, after that the sons of Kohath shall come to carry it, but they shall not touch a dedicated thing in case they die. These things are the duty of the sons of Kohath in the Tent of Meeting.

"And to the office of Eleazar, the son of the priest Aaron, shall be the oil for the Light-holder, and the sweet incense, and the daily meat offering, and the anointing oil, and the oversight of all the Tabernacle, and of everything in it, in the Sanctuary, and in its utensils."

And Yahweh also told Moses to take the number of the sons of Gershon, throughout the houses of their fathers, by their families. As with the Kohathites, Moses had to number those between the ages of 30 and 50 years, all those who would go in to perform the service and do the work in the Tent of Meeting. Yahweh set out their duties, involving carrying the curtains, coverings, hangings, and cords.

And Yahweh told Moses to take the number of the sons of Merari, those between the ages of 30 and 50 years old, who would carry out the service of the Tent of Meeting. The Merarites had responsibility for the boards and bars of the Tabernacle, and its pillars and sockets, and all the pillars of the court, and their sockets, and their pins, and their cords, and all their instruments.

Then Moses and Aaron, and the chief of the assembly, numbered the sons of Kohath from 30 years old up to the age of 50, everyone who would enter into the service, for the work in the Tent of Meeting. And those who were numbered were 2,750.

And from the sons of Gershon, between the ages of 30 and 50, those who were numbered were 2,630.

And from the sons of Merari, between the ages of 30 and 50, those who were numbered were 3,200.

In total, the full number of the Levites from 30 years old up to 50 years, whom Moses and Aaron and the chief of Israel numbered for service, was 8,580. So were they numbered, as commanded by Yahweh.

Whenever the Tabernacle was set up, Yahweh would be on the Mercy Seat, with his avatar orbs for Moses, Aaron or his sons to see if they came into the Most Holy Place. And Yahweh could enjoy smelling blood, watching animals die, and watching his servants worship him. And when the Israelites went on the move, Yahweh would fly off to a drone, and fly it along to somewhere in advance of the next campsite. Other drones would be flown by his robots.

Then Yahweh told Moses to send out of the camp every leper, everyone with a discharge, and everyone defiled by contact with a corpse. They had to be sent outside the camp, so that they did not defile their camps which Yahweh dwelt in the middle of.

And the sons of Israel carried it out, and put them outside the camp.

Yahweh regarded carbon-based lifeforms with utter contempt. Type II superbeings such as him, with their silicon brain in their robot body, did not have to worry about physical disease, or death as a result of old age. And any accidental discharge of their massive antigravity negative charges, causing a flash of lightning and a thunderclap, was something they regarded as a joke. However, a tiny minority of these beings from Hell, the planet formerly known as Heaven before its Sun ran out of hydrogen, did have mental disease, like Yahweh, and Yahweh himself was a humorless, narcissistic, megalomaniacal devil. Yahweh reserved a special type of disgust for humans with diseases, discharges, or who had died.

In another 1,500 years or so, some other visitors to Earth would have views on the sick or disabled that were the polar opposite of Yahweh's. Problem was, many centuries after that, Yahweh supporters would go on to rewrite history by conflating the evil Yahweh with other beings, and peddling a myth about "one true god".

That would be a mere drop in the ocean compared to their other 'adjustments' to truth and reality, although sometimes they would do a Stalinesque revision by getting all their propaganda prepared in advance of an operation, e.g., a false flag terror attack, or a hoax about a 'deadly' virus, so they could push the false narrative right from the start. Other times, it would be clearly Orwellian, as with the hoax in which Yahweh was conflated with beings of moral integrity.

Sometimes they would use a combination of Stalinesque and Orwellian, where a fake narrative was pushed from the start, but they then had to adjust it depending on what they could persuade people to believe. For example, a hoax about millions killed by "firing squad" during a world war would evolve into a hoax about millions killed by steam chambers, vacuum chambers, a room with an electric floor, or diesel exhaust, or quicklime, or being pushed off cliffs, or being made to climb trees that were chopped down, or being eaten by a bear and pecked by an eagle, etc.. When these lies proved to be unsustainable, the narrative evolved again into "gassings" by hydrogen cyanide, which in reality was used to save human lives by killing typhus lice.

The problem with Yahweh supporters was - and is, and always will be - that they were only interested in their own power and privilege. They didn't give a damn about being part of Team Humanity.

Yahweh told Moses various ways that people could make restitution for their 'sins'. This could involve animal sacrifice such as the "ram of the atonement", which would give Yahweh his fix of the smell of blood.

One bizarre ritual involved women suspected of having gone astray to be unfaithful to their husband. The woman had to be set before Yahweh, and the priest would take holy water in a clay pot and take some of the dust from the floor of the Tabernacle and put it into the water. The priest would charge her by an oath, saying that if no man had lain with her and she had not gone astray to uncleanness, apart from her husband, she would be free from the bitter water that caused the curse. The woman would drink from the bitter water and Yahweh would supposedly make her a curse so that if 'guilty' her thigh would fall away and her abdomen swell. If she was clean, she would be free, and would conceive.

Yahweh told Moses of a special vow that only the most dim-witted Israelite would make. He called it the vow of the Nazarite, in which the simpleton would separate themselves to Yahweh. They had to abstain from alcohol, and for all the days of their separation they could eat nothing made from the grapevine, from the seed to the skin. They had to let all their hair grow, and could not come near any corpse.

If a parent or a sibling died, they could not make themselves unclean, as all the days of their separation they were set apart to Yahweh. If any man died suddenly beside them, and they defiled the head of their dedication, then they had to shave their head on the 7th day, then on the 8th day bring two turtledoves or two young pigeons to the priest, to the entrance of the Tent of Meeting.

When the Nazarite's days of separation were fulfilled, they had to bring one male lamb of the first year without blemish as their burnt offering to Yahweh, and one ewe lamb of the first year without blemish for a sin offering, and one ram without blemish for peace offerings, and a basket of unleavened bread, cakes of fine flour mingled with oil, and wafers of unleavened bread anointed with oil, along with their meal and drink offerings.

It would take a really special kind of stupid for anyone to have themselves mutilated, follow all kinds of crackpot 'laws', and then imagine that they have to jump through a whole new set of hoops in the hope that a 'god' would bring them luck, and some sort of unfair advantage over others.

What these people didn't get, is that they weren't even achieving an advantage over others, even if they did manage to influence a creature such as Yahweh to reward them somehow. They didn't understand that there is no such thing as a free lunch, and their 'god' wasn't going to reward them out of the kindness of his heart, for Yahweh had none.

Yahweh was a devil who was working to build up a minority band of parasites and saboteurs, preferably to ruin mankind, or at least to prevent humanity from progressing as it should. And this destructive group would end up being hated by everyone else because of its people's atrocities and harmful actions. Even if they accumulated material wealth, they would still be hated. And however many laws they passed banning hatred of them, it would not make it go away.

And on the day when Moses fully set up the Tabernacle, when he anointed it, and cleansed it and all the objects, then the various rulers of Israel, heads of the house of their fathers, came and made offerings. They brought their offerings before Yahweh, six covered wagons, twelve oxen, a wagon for two of the rulers, and for each one an ox. And they brought them before the Tabernacle.

Yahweh told Moses to take it from them and give it to the Levites. And Moses gave two wagons and four oxen to the sons of Gershon, in keeping with their service. And he gave four wagons and eight oxen to the sons of Merari, in keeping with their service. But he gave none to the sons of Kohath, because the service of the holy things belonged to them, and they carried them on their shoulders or with poles. Moreover, as detailed previously, the Ark's antigravity device rendered it weightless at about 0.1m off the ground.

Yahweh told Moses that each ruler must bring his offering, on his particular day, for the dedication of the altar.

And he who presented his offering on the first day was Nahshon, the son of Amminadab, of the tribe of Judah. And his offering was 1 silver charger, of 130 shekels weight, one silver bowl of 70 shekels, by the weight of the Sanctuary, both of them full of fine flour for a meal offering, one pan of 10 shekels of gold, full of incense, 1 young bullock, 1 ram, 1 lamb of the first year, for a burnt offering, 1 kid of the goats for a sin offering, and two oxen, 5 rams, 5 male goats, and 5 lambs of the 1st year for a sacrifice of peace offerings. So this was the offering of Nahshon, son of Amminadab. Peace for these particular humans, maybe, but not for the animals.

On the second day Nethanel, the son of Zuar, ruler of Issachar, presented his tribe's offering. It was the same as the previous offering from the tribe of Judah.

The third day's offering was presented by Eliab, the son of Helon and leader of the Zebulunites. It was the same as the previous offerings.

On the 4th day Elizur, the son of Shedeur and leader of the Reubenites, presented his tribe's offering. It was the same as the previous offerings.

On the 5th day Shelumiel, the son of Zurishaddai and leader of the Simeonites, drew near to present his tribe's offering. It was the same as the previous offerings.

On the 6th day Eliasaph, the son of Deuel and leader of the Gadites, drew near to present his tribe's offering. It was the same as the previous offerings.

On the 7th day Elishama, son of Ammihud and leader of the Ephraimites, drew near to present his tribe's offering. It was the same as the previous offerings.

On the 8th day Gamaliel, son of Pedahzur and leader of the Manassites, drew near to present his tribe's offering. It was the same as the previous offerings.

On the 9th day Abidan, son of Gideoni and leader of the Benjamites, drew near to present his tribe's offering. It was the same as the previous offerings.

On the 10th day Ahiezer, son of Ammishaddai and leader of the Danites, drew near to present his tribe's offering. It was the same as the previous offerings.

On the 11th day Pagiel, son of Ocran and leader of the Asherites, drew near to present his tribe's offering. It was the same as the previous offerings.

On the 12th day Ahira, son of Enan and leader of the Naphtalites, drew near to present his tribe's offering. It was the same as the previous offerings.

So the total of the twelve tribes' offerings consisted of: 12 chargers of silver weighing 130 shekels each, 12 silver bowls weighing 70 shekels each, so the total weight of silver was 2,400 shekels (or 4/5 talent). 12 golden pans full of incense, 10 shekels per pan, making a total of 120 shekels. For the burnt offering there were 12 bullocks, 12 rams, 12 lambs of the 1st year, together with their meal offering of fine flour mixed with oil. For the sin offering there were 12 kids of the goats. And for the sacrifice of the 'peace' offerings there were 24 oxen, 60 rams, 60 male goats, and 60 lambs of the 1st year.

When Moses went into the Tent of Meeting to speak with Yahweh, he heard the voice speaking to him from above the Mercy Seat that was on the Ark of Testimony, from between the two keruvim, and Yahweh spoke to him. In other words, Yahweh was seated on the Mercy Seat, and his orb avatar prevented anyone from seeing his true nature as a Terminator-style robot body.

Now the voice of Yahweh sounded like it was coming from above the Mercy Seat, and in terms of direction it was from between the two keruvim. But the keruvim are not much higher than the Mercy Seat. And the voice wouldn't have come from a point corresponding to Yahweh's 'head'. The head contained sensors, from which Yahweh could watch and hear what was happening with great precision and fidelity, and he could smell the blood, the burning flesh and incense.

But these Type II Hellian beings didn't have a voicebox, they used an amplifier and loudspeaker that was located in the torso rather than the head, for improved bass response and power dissipation. So with Yahweh sat upon the Mercy Seat, the sound would have been coming from a little way above the keruvim, but not much higher. About a foot higher, rather than several feet.

If Yahweh really wanted to have his voice booming out with a tremendous volume and bass extension, he would do a broadcast from a drone.

And Yahweh told Moses to tell Aaron that when he arranged the lamps, the seven lamps would give light in front of the Lampstand.

And so Aaron carried that out. He arranged its lamps in front of the light-holder, as Yahweh commanded Moses. The work of the light-holder was of hammered gold, from its shaft to its flowers.

Then Yahweh told Moses to take the Levites and cleanse them. This consisted of sprinkling water of purification on them, causing a razor to pass over all of their flesh, and letting them wash their clothes, to make themselves clean.

And then they had to take a young bullock with its meal offering, fine flour mingled with oil, and take another young bullock for a sin offering.

In centuries hence, opium poppy plants would be grown to satisfy the urges of heroin addicts. In the time of Moses, bullocks, rams, lambs and goats were reared to satisfy the urges of a depraved devil dependent on sniffing blood.

The Levites had to be brought before the Tent of Meeting, and the whole assembly of the sons of Israel gathered together. Then the Levites had to be brought before Yahweh, and the sons of Israel had to put their hands on the Levites. Then Aaron had to wave the Levites before Yahweh for a wave offering of the sons of Israel, so that they could carry out the service of Yahweh.

Then the Levites had to lay their hands on the heads of the bullocks, and Moses should prepare one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering to Yahweh, to make atonement for the Levites.

Yahweh continued, "And you shall set the Levites before Aaron, and before his sons, and offer them for an offering to Yahweh, So shall you separate the Levites from among the sons of Israel, and the Levites shall be Mine."

Yahweh then repeated his lunatic assertion that the Levites were "wholly given to Me" instead of all the firstborn of Israel, whom Yahweh bizarrely claimed to have "set apart for Myself" as some sort of reward for perpetrating his mass murder on the Egyptian firstborn.

So everything was carried out as Yahweh commanded, the Levites were "purified", or more accurately, Yahweh got to indulge in smelling blood and burning flesh and oil, and then the Levites went in to perform their work in the Tent of Meeting before Aaron, and before his sons.

Then Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying, "This is what applies to the Levites. From 25 years old and upwards, they shall go in to perform service on the work of the Tent of Meeting. And from the age of 50 years they must retire from their service, and they shall serve no more. However, they shall assist their brothers in performing their duties in the Tent of Meeting, but they may carry out no service. You shall do this to the Levites concerning their responsibility."

Evidently, Moses didn't question Yahweh there, and the poor underling must have been struggling with how to parse the silly devil's multiple contradictions in that paragraph. If the 50 years and up Levites did choose to retire they could be punished for disobeying Yahweh's command to assist their younger workmates in performing their duties. If they continued to work they could be punished for disobeying Yahweh's commands to retire, to serve no more and to carry out no service. And if Yahweh makes the decision on where to draw the line between merely helping and performing the work, the helper continues to walk a tightrope in trying to help in some meaningless way that doesn't count as contributing to the work. Surely helping others perform the work constitutes carrying out a service?

And Yahweh had originally set the minimum age at 30, and now he has lowered it to 25 years of age, which would take the total to more than 8,580 people, already too many to fit into the courtyard, and many more than needed to perform the work. The courtyard was 100 x 50 cubits, which is 50m x 25m = 1,250 square meters. Thus, even at only 8,580 people, there would be almost seven people crammed into every square meter, or each person gets only 1.57 square feet, about 15 inches x 15 inches, and it's less than that once we exclude the Most Holy Place, the Table, the Lampstand, the altar in the courtyard, and so on.

Then Yahweh spoke to Moses in the Wilderness of Sinai, in the 1st month of the 2nd year after they had come out of Egypt, saying that the sons of Israel must also keep the Passover at its appointed time, which was on the 14th of that month, between the evenings. And Moses spoke to them, and they did as Yahweh commanded.

And there were certain men who had been defiled by the dead body of a man, so that they could not prepare the Passover. And they came before Moses and Aaron and asked why it was so, and why were they being kept back so they could not bring an offering near Yahweh. Moses told them to wait and he would find out what Yahweh had to say on the matter.

And Yahweh told Moses his ruling on the matter. He said that if any man among them was still unclean, whether because of handling a corpse or going on a long journey, they should still prepare the Passover to Yahweh, as ordained. However, if any man was clean and not on a journey, if he failed to prepare the Passover then that same person must be cut off from among his people, because he did not bring the offering to Yahweh at the appointed time, so that man should bear his sin. And any foreigner living among them who prepares the Passover had to do so in keeping with the decree of the Passover and its statute.

This is just what would be expected from a devil with an addiction to smelling blood; his so-called 'laws' had nothing to do with any ethics or moral values, and were only about furthering Yahweh's petty pursuit of self-gratification, and so any of them could be suspended or adjusted or reintroduced arbitrarily depending upon Yahweh's current mental state.

Finally, the day came when the Tabernacle had to be raised up, and the cloud covered the Tent of the Tabernacle. And on the evening until the morning it was the appearance of fire.

Whenever they were camped and the Tabernacle set up, Yahweh would be in the Most Holy Place, sat on the Mercy Seat. When they were to move on, he would ascend and fly off back to a drone, with the cloud both camouflaging his motions and then serving as a means of guiding the Israelites along to where he wanted to send them. Or at night times the cloud would turn into a fire. Whenever the cloud was taken up from the Tent, then the sons of Israel would travel on, and where the cloud rested, they would pitch their tents.

As happened at the start of the exodus, the cloud, fire or light would guide their way. Yahweh would use one of his solar-powered, saucer-shaped drones, of radius 20m, fitted with a hologram projector, to create the appearance of the 'cloud' or 'light'.

Whether it was by day or night that the cloud or light was taken up, they traveled on. But if the cloud stayed over the Tabernacle, whether it was for two days, a month, or a year, they remained in their tents and did not travel on, in accord with the voice of Yahweh.

Then Yahweh told Moses to make himself two trumpets of hammered silver, so that he could use them for calling the assembly and for the traveling of the camps. When both were sounded, the whole assembly was to gather itself at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting. But if one blew alone, all the rulers, the heads of the tribes, should gather themselves to Moses.

Let's suppose four people could be packed into one square meter. And then we have ~(603,550 + 22,300) * 4 = ~2,500,000 people, so that they take up 625,000 m3, say an area 790m x 790m. If the center of the front side is at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting, each of the front corners are 395m off to the north or south, and the back corners are 883m distant. They might have some odd way of everyone surrounding the Tabernacle, so that many of them are on the wrong side to have line of sight, so that the distance is then only 559m plus an extra allowance for the area of the Tabernacle.

Of course, they wouldn't choose to pack that closely, and if they were departing they would be gathering up all their animals, tents and possessions with them. The idea of everyone gathering at an entrance, for no real purpose, apart from the whims of a demented devil, is quite crazy.

Yahweh continued, telling Moses that when he blew an alarm, then the camps lying on the eastern part should go forward. When he blew an alarm the second time, then the camps lying on the south side should take their journey. But when the assembly was to be gathered together, Moses should blow, but not sound an alarm.

Whatever Yahweh was smoking when he concocted his decree about retiring Levites, he must have had an even heavier dose when he fabricated his crackpot silver trumpet signaling system. The "alarm" would have been a series of short bursts, to tell the camps on the east to start moving. Then, when it was ready for the southern camps to move, Moses could sound the alarm a second time. In contrast, the "sounding" or "blowing" could be a single long blast.

And so they have four different signals, but distinguishing between one and two trumpets could be hard from a distance, and one of those signals is wasted on a pointless assembly. Why not have signals for those camping on the northern side, and the western side? A six-year-old child could have devised a better code.

Yahweh continued to say that the sons of Aaron should blow with the trumpets. So only now does he make it clear that Moses is not to do the blowing himself. And Yahweh has already killed two of Aaron's sons, so he only needs two trumpets for the survivors.

Yahweh said that if they went to war in their land against an enemy who oppressed them, then they should blow an alarm with the trumpets, and they would be remembered before Yahweh their Elohim, and they would be saved from their enemies. This signal could easily be confused with the signal for those camped on the east to start moving on.

And it was on the 20th day of the 2nd month in the 2nd year, that the cloud was taken up from the Tabernacle of the Testimony, and the sons of Israel started to move on from the Wilderness of Sinai, and the cloud rested in the Wilderness of Paran.

First, the divisions of the camp of Judah set out under their standard, with Nahshon in command. Nethanel was over the division of the tribe of Issachar, and Eliab was over the division of the tribe of Zebulun. Then the tabernacle was taken down, and the Gershonites and the Merarites set out, transporting it.

Then the divisions of the camp of Reuben set out under their standard, with Elizur in command. Shelumiel was over the division of the tribe of Simeon, and Eliasaph was over the division of the tribe of Gad. Then the Kohathites set out, transporting the holy objects; the tabernacle was to be set up before their arrival.

Next, the divisions of the camp of Ephraim set out under their standard, with Elishama in command. Gamaliel was over the division of the tribe of Manasseh, and Abidan was over the division of the tribe of Benjamin.

Finally, the divisions of the camp of Dan set out under their standard, serving as the rear guard for all units, with Ahiezer in command. Pagiel was over the division of the tribe of Asher, and Ahira was over the division of the tribe of Naphtali.

Moses told Hobab, the son of Reuel the Midianite, Moses' father-in-law who was also known as Jethro, that they were traveling on to the place that Yahweh had given them, and he should come with them, since they would treat him well and Yahweh had said good things about the promised land.

He replied that he would not go, but would depart to his own land and his own people.

Moses pleaded with him not to leave them, for he knew much about camping in the wilderness, and could serve as their eyes, and whatever goodness Yahweh did to them, they would do to him. Given that Hobab had more sense than most of the rest of them, that last part was why he was reluctant to stay with them.

They departed from the mountain of Yahweh on a journey of three days, and the Ark of the Covenant went before them on the three days' journey, to search out a resting place for them. And the cloud of Yahweh was over them by day, when they went out of the camp.

Yahweh's original plan was the simpler option, in which the Ark would be in its Assisted Carry mode, making it easy to be carried on the poles by four men of the Kohathites, who were in the second quarter well behind the front. Then the cloud or light would lead the way.

However, Yahweh decided he wanted to test out the Ark's flying capabilities. Its computer could read and interpret signals by someone sat upon the Mercy Seat, moving their hands between the keruvim. Naturally, Yahweh would himself be the pilot who took it on its maiden flight.

Of course, when flying, the active shielding could not be deployed in the downwards direction, as the repulsive uplift relied upon the negative charge on the ground beneath. And so, anyone underneath would be at risk of being killed, or "consumed" with the fire or anger of Yahweh.

Let's suppose the Ark was in Low Altitude Flight mode, initially flying at 3m altitude. The Ark's negative charge is optimized for minimum energy consumption at 0.03133C, and with the charge product at 7,526N x (3m)2 / 8.988x109 N.m2.C-2 = 7.536x10-6 C2 for 3m altitude, the painter beam charge on the ground is 2.405x10-4C. If a person is standing, the Ark clears their head by 1m. The electric field from the Ark's internal charge is E = k.Q/r2 = 8.988x109 N.m2.C-2 x 0.03133C / (1m)2 = ~282 MV/m, which is probably lethal for a human being.

But now consider the painter beam charge sprayed onto the unfortunate person. Although the charge is lower, the separation is much lower too. For skin and superficial damage, let's take r as 1mm, which gives E = 8.988x109 N.m2.C-2 x 2.405x10-4C / (0.001m)2 = ~2.16 TV/m. For a range of deeper organ injury, let's try r at 1cm and 10cm. At 1cm we have 21.6 GV/m, and at 10cm we have 216 MV/m. Their chances of survival are zero.

If the Ark is flying at 40m altitude, but only into the first minute of that, the optimal Ark charge is 0.09617C, and the charge product is 7,526N x (40m)2 / 8.988x109 N.m2.C-2 = 0.00134C2, so the painter beam sprays a charge of 0.0139C. Suppose the Ark flies 38m above a person's head. Then E = 8.988x109 N.m2.C-2 x 0.09617C / (38m)2 = ~599 kV/m, which compares with greater than 100kV/m being potentially lethal. Crucially, in this case the painter beam charge is 0.00134C2 / 0.09617C = 0.0139C, and at 1mm, 1cm and 0.1m respectively the electric field E is 125 TV/m, 1.25 TV/m and 12.5 GV/m, which is certain death for a human being.

If Yahweh was testing out the High Altitude Flight Mode the Ark's charge would be at ~70C. Suppose he had ascended to 40m when flying over the hapless human. The electric field at head height is now E = 8.988x109 N.m2.C-2 x 70C / (38m)2 = 436 MV/m, and the person has little chance of survival.

Yahweh also had a system he was trying out to help secure himself to the Mercy Seat as it was flying. A strap or belt would have been too low tech and not worthy of a 'god'. He added a tiny positive charge to the Ark's active shielding in the upwards direction, so that with his internal negative charge being enough to render him almost weightless when on the ground, the small positive charge would attract and hold him onto the Mercy Seat. Then, with his internal smaller charges at the end of his forearms, he would move his arms to proceed in the desired horizontal direction.

(See Genesis for more details on how the Type II beings exploited a planet's electric field. And see Exodus for the Ark's specifications, and full details of how its painter beam was used in Low Altitude Flight.)

When the Ark was to set out, Moses would say, "Rise up, Yahweh! May your enemies be scattered, and may those who hate you flee from you."  And when it came to rest he would say, "Return, Yahweh, to the countless thousands of Israel."

Let's suppose Yahweh wanted to secure himself to the Mercy Seat with a force of 1,000N, roughly equivalent to a 102kg weight. So from Coulombs Law:

Felec = k . q1 . q2 / r2

we have the separation r between the slightly positively charged active shielding q1 in the robot, within the Ark, and Yahweh's internal charge q2 at around 0.5m, Yahweh has his internal charge set to -7.1C, the required Felec is 1,000N, and k is 8.988x109 N.m2.C-2, and so the required q1 is 3.918x10-9C = 3.918 nanoCoulombs. For this level of net charge, assuming storage on a radius slightly over 0.1m and capacitance of slightly over 11.1pf, the required net voltage would be slightly less than +353V.

Now the Israelites started complaining that they wanted flesh to eat, and they spoke of how they used to eat fish, cucumbers, melons, leeks, onions and garlic when they were in Egypt. So much for being "oppressed" by the Egyptians. In fact, over the millennia to come, any form of physical labor would be anathema to these people, which is why they would specialize in usury and various financial scams.

They also developed an aversion to washing - partly as a consequence of Yahweh's crazy rituals, so that when they were brought into a labor camp - during a war that they had started and escalated to further their own political agenda - and forced to take showers, have haircuts and perform manual work, they spent the next century whining and moaning, and alleging scientifically and mathematically impossible yarns about how they had been "exterminated", "annihilated", "massacred", etc.. One of them even alleged she had to keep swallowing her diamonds and poop them out. Even their grubby, money-making lies reflected the filthy, perverted contents of their minds.

Their dislike of personal hygiene also meant that when they were brought into the camp, a couple of months later the camp's typhus epidemic peaked, with most of the victims being opponents of Yahweh's followers, yet the latter group would go on to claim it was all about them.

Meanwhile, the Israelites complained about having only the manna to eat, which fell on the camp in the night when the dew came.

Of course, as mentioned in Exodus, this was not manna from "Heaven", but from Yahweh's spacecraft. More specifically, it was the honeydew excretion of aphids and scale insects harvested in Yahweh's hydroponic garden in his mothership, after his robots had collected plants with the infestation and sent their specimens up in shuttle drones. A solar-powered drone would be charged up during the day, and sent out during the night to drop the "manna" on the camp.

Yahweh had changed his mind and decided he wanted to try piloting the Ark, rather than have the Kohathites carry it with the poles. His problem was that the Ark was not already at the front of the travelers; it was in the second quarter from the front. No matter, thought Yahweh, he would fly anyway, well aware that a few people would get burned to death as the Ark passed above them, but most of his people would survive.

And in his narrative, he would have it such that his anger glowed because people were complaining, and the fire of Yahweh burned, and people on the outskirts of the camp were consumed. Then Moses prayed to Yahweh and the fire was extinguished. But it was extinguished because Yahweh had got the Ark where he wanted - past the outskirts of the camp, so that it could go in advance of them and lead the way.

Moses heard the people weeping and complaining, and even in his eyes it was an evil situation. He asked Yahweh, "Why have you afflicted your servant? And why have I not found favor in your sight, so that you lay the burden of all these people on me? Have I conceived all these people? Have I fathered them, so that you should say to me, 'Carry them in your bosom, like a guardian would support with an arm the infant to the land that you had sworn to their fathers?' Where could I have meat to give to all these people? For they call out to me saying, 'Give us meat, so that we can eat.' I am unable to carry all these people alone, because it is too heavy for me. And if you do this to me, kill me, I ask you, quickly, if I have found favor in your sight, and do not let me face my affliction."

Yahweh told Moses to gather seventy men of the elders of Israel, and bring them to the Tent of Meeting, and he would come down and talk with them there, and have them responsible for the people as well so that Moses would not carry the burden alone. And he told Moses to tell the people to set themselves apart for the next day, for they would have meat, and not for one day, but for a month of days until they were tired of it, for they had despised Yahweh and wept as they asked why they had come out of Egypt.

Moses said that there were six hundred thousand people, and so to provide them meat for a month must the sheep and herds be killed for them, or all the fish of the sea be gathered together, to satisfy them?

Then Yahweh said to Moses, "Has Yahweh's hand grown short? You will see whether or not My word will come to pass for you."

Moses went and told the people the words of Yahweh, and he gathered the seventy men of the elders of Israel, and set them around the Tent.

Yahweh came down in a cloud and spoke to Moses, and he claims to have taken some of the spirit from Moses and then given it to the seventy elders. Clearly he did nothing to Moses as he'd already groomed him. Now he was working on the seventy, aiming to stimulate and synchronize gamma brainwaves in the 30 to 100 Hz range.

His drone was flying over the group, as it transmitted microwave radiation that was modulated around 40Hz. Meanwhile his nanobots went down in the cloud. At around 20-50nm, they could cross the blood-brain barrier after entering through the nose, mouth or skin. Then they would deliver signals to modulate gamma activity, such as calcium ion fluxes.

Some of these people began speaking like prophets, but this was only a temporary effect. However, two of the men, named Eldad and Medad, were among the seventy listed, but they did not go up to the Tent and remained in the camp, where they prophesied. A young man ran and told Moses that Eldad and Medad were speaking like prophets. And Joshua, son of Nun, the servant of Moses, answered and asked Moses to forbid them.

Moses asked him if he was jealous for Moses' sake, and said that if only all of Yahweh's people were prophets, Yahweh would put his spirit on them.

These two, Eldad and Medad, were probably responding to some of the microwave radiation that reached them outside the Tent, but did not have the nanobots enter their body and brain.

Then Moses and the elders of Israel went back into the camp.

Now about the same time in spring last year, just after they escaped from the Egyptians in the crossing of the Red Sea, Yahweh had noticed the quails, that were on their migration path traveling north, from Africa to Europe. So he was well aware of the opportunity for delivering them into the hands of the Israelites this year as well. On the one hand, Yahweh was angry that his people weren't satisfied with the manna alone, that served to keep them from starving, and he had been delivering it to them for a year by now. On the other hand, he was pleased about the prospect of another successful display of his "Mighty Hand".

But he had the choice of whether to use the same technique as last year, of generating an artificial magnetic field to steer the birds as he wanted, or would he create a wind to blow them off course? His drones were solar-powered for flight and for creating the magnetic field. And to create a wind, he needed to use 1016 to 1017J.

Yahweh decided he would leave nothing to chance, he wanted to impress his servants, and had already boasted to Moses about his hand not growing short. The quails were an ideal choice, because they were not strong fliers, and blowing them off course and misdirecting them with an artificial magnetic field was relatively easy.

He created a strong enough wind with his directed energy beam, using only 1016J to heat up parts of the atmosphere to create the pressure gradient. He didn't need it to be as strong as his mighty west wind of the previous year, created with between 1016 and 1017J, that he used both for blowing locusts back into the Red Sea and for creating a sandstorm.

Creating his artificial magnetic field and flying the drones was free, renewable energy. And using these twin methods of the wind and the magnetism, he was able to deliver a large quantity of the quails to the camp.

Now in Yahweh's account he claims the quails were caused to fall all around the camp, to a distance of a day's journey on one side, and also on the other side, and up to about two cubits (1m) above the ground. Well the day's journey could be up to around 40 km. There certainly weren't dead quails lying on the ground to a height of 1m in a radius of 40km. There were plenty of quails walking around the camp, and flying low at about 1m. They were tired and relatively easy to catch. Outside the camp quails were dotted around, with a few at 40km distance in all directions, but most of them were in or quite near to the camp.

So all that day, the night and the next day, the people gathered the quails, and they surely enjoyed having an alternative to the manna. However, while the people were still eating quail, Yahweh struck them with a severe plague. And they buried the people who had craved other meat.

Yahweh was still angry that the people had not been satisfied with his "manna", and he had made a note of those who had been complaining the loudest. He flew down to get vengeance; some of those he flew over were burned by his unshielded 7.1 Coulomb charge. Others that he recognized, he targeted with his silent graphene supercapacitor gun.

Then the people moved on to Hazeroth, where they remained for some time.

And Miriam and Aaron spoke against Moses, for he had married a Cushite woman. They asked, "Has Yahweh spoken only by Moses? Has he not spoken by us as well?"

And Yahweh heard that.

Now Moses was one of the meekest of men, and Yahweh said to Moses, and to Aaron and Miriam, "Come out, you three, to the Tent of Meeting."

And the three came out. And Yahweh came down in the pillar of cloud, and stood at the entrance to the Tent, and he called Aaron and Miriam, and they both came out.

And Yahweh said, "Now hear my words. If there is a prophet among you, I will make Myself known to him in a vision. I will speak to him in a dream. My servant Moses is not like this. He is faithful in all My house. I will speak with him in an appearance, and not in riddles, and he will see the likeness of Yahweh. Why then, were you not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?"

The anger of Yahweh burned against them, and he departed. The cloud departed from the Tent, and then Miriam became leprous like snow, and Aaron turned towards her, and saw she was looking like leprous.

Aaron said to Moses, "Alas, my lord, I implore you, do not lay on us the sin by which we have acted foolishly, and by which we have sinned. Let her not be like the stillborn, whose flesh is half consumed when it is born."

And Moses called out to Yahweh, "Heal her now, El, I implore you."

And Yahweh said to Moses, "If her father had surely spat in her face, should she not be ashamed for seven days? Let her be shut out for seven days outside the camp, and after that she shall be received back."

And Miriam was shut out from the camp for seven days, and the people did not move on until Miriam was brought back in. And afterwards the people departed from Hazeroth, and they next pitched camp in the Wilderness of Paran.

Now Yahweh had just played a cruel trick on them, remembering how he had used his hologram projector the previous year to make Moses' hand look white and leprous. The projector was used on Miriam to scare them, just until she was out of sight, outside the camp.

Then Yahweh told Moses to send men that could search the land of Canaan that he was giving to the Israelites, even though it wasn't his land to give; the land belonged to the inhabitants who originally lived there. Moses was to send one man for each tribe of their fathers, each man a ruler.

So Moses sent the twelve men from the Wilderness of Paran as commanded by Yahweh, all of them heads of the sons of Israel. And here are their names:

Of the tribe of Reuben, Shammua, son of Zaccur;
Of the tribe of Simeon, Shaphat, son of Hori;
Of the tribe of Judah, Caleb, son of Jephunneh;
Of the tribe of Issachar, Igal son of Joseph;
Of the tribe of Ephraim, Hoshea, son of Nun;
Of the tribe of Benjamin, Palti, son of Raphu;
Of the tribe of Zebulun, Gaddiel, son of Sodi;
Of the tribe of Manasseh (a tribe of Joseph), Gaddi, son of Susi;
Of the tribe of Dan, Ammiel, son of Gemalli;
Of the tribe of Asher, Sethur, son of Michael;
Of the tribe of Naphtali, Nahbi, son of Vophsi;
Of the tribe of Gad, Geuel, son of Machi.

So those were the men whom Moses sent to spy out the land, and Moses gave the name Joshua to Hoshea, son of Nun. Moses pointed out the way for them to go up into the south of the land, and told them to go up into the mountain so that they could see the land and the people who lived in it, and see whether the people were strong or weak, few or many, whether the land was good or bad, fertile or barren, and what cities the people lived in, whether in camps or strongholds. And he asked them to bring back some fruit of the land.

It was the days of the first ripe grapes. They ascended by the Negeb and came to Hebron, and Ahiman, Sheshai, and Talmai, the sons of Anak, were there.

Then they came to a valley and cut down a branch with a cluster of grapes, and carried it between two men on a staff, with pomegranates and figs. They called it the Valley of Eshcol, because of the cluster of grapes.

After 40 days they returned from searching out the land, and they came back to Moses, Aaron and all the assembly of the sons of Israel, in the Wilderness of Paran at Kadesh.

They brought back a report for the whole assembly and showed them the fruit of the land.

And they reported to Moses and said, "We went into the land to which you sent us, and surely it flows with milk and honey. Here is some of its fruit. Nevertheless, the people living in the land are strong, and the cities are very large and fortified. We even saw the descendants of Anak there. The Amalekites live in the land of the Negev, and the Hittites, Jebusites, and Amorites live in the mountains, and the Canaanites live by the sea and along the banks of the Jordan."

And Caleb silenced the people before Moses, and he said they should go up at once and possess the land, for they were well able to overcome it.

But the men who went with him said they were not able to go up against the people, for they were stronger than the Israelites.

So they sent the sons of Israel a bad report of the land that they had searched out, saying that it was "a land that devours its inhabitants, and all the people whom we saw in it are men of immense stature. And there we saw the Nephilim, the sons of Anak, of the Nephilim, and we were as grasshoppers in our own sight, and so were we in their sight."

And all the assembly lifted up their voice and called out, and the people wept that night.

And all the sons of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron, and the whole assembly said to them, "If only we had died in the land of Egypt, or if only we had died in this wilderness. And why has Yahweh brought us to this land to fall by the sword, so that our wives and our sons would be a prey? Would it not be better for us to return to Egypt?"

And they said to each other, "Let us appoint a leader, and let us go back to Egypt."

That of course would have been the sensible choice, and would have allowed humanity to progress like a normal civilization, instead of being held back and afflicted with Yahweh's / Satan's little saboteurs.

Then Moses and Aaron fell on their faces before all the assembly of the gathering of the sons of Israel.

And Joshua, son of Nun, and Caleb, son of Jephunneh, two of those searching out the land, tore their clothes, and they said to all the assembly, "The land that we passed through to search out is an exceedingly good land. If Yahweh takes delight in us, then he will bring us into this land and give it to us, a land that flows with milk and honey. Only do not rebel against Yahweh, nor fear the people of the land, for they are our bread. Their protection has departed from them, and Yahweh is with us. Do not fear them."

But all the congregation, being of a more rational disposition, threatened to stone Joshua and Caleb.

Then the glorious splendor of Yahweh appeared in the Tent of Meeting before all the sons of Israel, and Yahweh said to Moses, "How long will these people provoke Me? And how long will it be before they believe Me through all the signs that I have performed among them? I will strike them with pestilence and disinherit them, and I will make of you a more vast and mighty nation than they are."

This was not a good time for Yahweh. So many of the Israelites were starting to recognize the truth - that following such a being, with its questionable motives and morals, and its limited resources and abilities, had been a disastrous mistake. And Yahweh would have gladly killed the vast majority of the Israelites, eliminating his opponents, so that he could start again almost from scratch with his most fawning toadies, in the hope that he could build them into a vast nation that he could use to sabotage humanity. If so, it would have set him back 550 years, and still with no guarantee of success.

Then Moses gave a long speech in defense of the Israelites, pointing out that if Yahweh was to kill many of them, the Egyptians and other nations would hear of it. They already knew that Yahweh went about in the midst of the Israelites, that he had been seen, and he went before the people in a pillar of smoke by day and a pillar of light by night. If Yahweh killed these people, then the nations who had heard of Yahweh's fame would say, "Because Yahweh was unable to bring those people into the land he promised them, he slaughtered them in the wilderness."

And then Moses pleaded with Yahweh to pardon and forgive the iniquity of the people, just as he had already forgiven them since they left Egypt.

Ever thinking of his own interests, and caring greatly what others thought of him, Yahweh relented, and said he had pardoned them as Moses requested. However, none of those who had seen his "glory" and his "signs" - i.e., hi-tech tricks - he had performed, yet had still tested and disobeyed him multiple times, none of them would ever see the land he promised to their fathers. None of those who treated him with contempt would see it.

But, because his servant Caleb had a different spirit about him and had followed Yahweh fully, he would be brought into the land where he went, and his seed would possess it. Now, the Amalekites and the Canaanites lived in the valley, so tomorrow the Israelites must turn back and head for the wilderness along the route to the Red Sea.

And Yahweh said to Moses and Aaron, "How long shall I put up with this evil assembly who are murmuring against me? I have heard the complaints that the sons of Israel are grumbling against me. Say to them, 'As truly as I live,' says Yahweh, 'just as you have spoken in My ears, so will I do to you. Your carcasses will fall in this wilderness, and all who were numbered of you, in keeping with your whole number, from twenty years old and upwards, all who have murmured against Me'."

Yahweh has just shown that his 'pardon' was not worth the few hundred Joules of energy that it had cost him to announce it a few minutes previously, which is hardly surprising.

But more interestingly, Yahweh's inverted, perverted 'ethics' here was a forerunner of the same type of 'thinking' that would be seen from his supporters and lackeys throughout the millennia. Yahweh was an evil devil who supported increasing entropy - the creation of disorder from order, and in his bitter, twisted mind, anyone or anything that opposed him or threatened his plans was 'evil' or 'vile'.

It would come to pass, ~3,500 years hence, that when Yahweh supporters were conducting ethnic cleansing and a genocide on the native inhabitants of the land of Canaan - even using 2,000 lb Mark 84 bombs on tents as well as buildings so that the victims' bodies in the eye of the attack melted, anyone who criticized this would be classed as 'evil', and a supporter of "terrorism", etc..

Yahweh continued telling Moses and Aaron his message for the Israelites:

"Surely none of you will enter the land in which I swore to settle you, except Caleb, son of Jephunneh, and Joshua, son of Nun. But as for your children, whom you said would become a prey, I will bring them into the land that you have despised, and they will enjoy it. As for you, however, your carcasses will fall in this wilderness, and your sons will be shepherds in the wilderness for forty years, and they will bear the punishment of your fornications until the last of your carcasses have wasted in the wilderness."

"In keeping with the forty days you spied out the land, you shall bear your guilt forty years, a year for each day, and you will experience My rejection."

"I, Yahweh, have spoken, and I will surely do these things to this entire evil assembly, which has conspired against Me. They will be consumed in the wilderness, and there they will die."

And poor, gullible Abram thought all he had to do was have himself and all of the males genitally mutilated, and then his 'god' would multiply his descendants until they were as numerous as the stars in the sky, and they would take possession of the land.

No! Even after all the hoops they had to jump through, satiating Yahweh's blood-smelling addiction and so on, they still would not possess the land. And although they would become 0.2% of the population, they would be universally hated except by those traitors to whom they threw a few crumbs in the form of power and privilege. The 0.2% was 0.2% too high, unless they (i) Disengaged from having any interaction with the normal, moral, anti-entropy 99.8% of the population, and became a set apart people, isolated and confined like the smallpox virus; (ii) Renounced anything to do with Yahweh's hateful, supremacist, destructive ideology, and rejoined Team Humanity.

And the men whom Moses had sent to spy out the land, who had returned and made the assembly grumble against him by bringing out a bad report about the land, those men who had brought out the bad report about the land, were struck down and died by a plague before Yahweh. Of those men who had gone to spy out the land, only Joshua, son of Nun, and Caleb, son of Jephunneh, remained alive.

And Moses relayed these details to all the Israelites, and the people mourned bitterly.

And they rose early in the morning, planning to climb to the top of the mountain, saying, "See now, we are here, and we will go up to the place that Yahweh has promised, for we have sinned."

Then Moses said, "Why now, do you transgress the commandment of Yahweh, for it shall not prosper. Do not go up, for Yahweh is not among you, so that you are not stricken before your enemies. For the Amalekites and the Canaanites are there before you, and you will fall by the sword, for you have turned away from Yahweh, and he will not be with you."

But they were presumptuous. They went up to the top of the mountain. However, Moses and the Ark of the Covenant did not leave the camp. Then the Amalekites came down, and the Canaanites who lived in that mountain, and they attacked them and beat them back all the way to Hormah.

This was just the normal state of affairs. The true owners of the land were stronger, and they had the strategic advantage of being up on high ground. Without any trickery from Yahweh, or deceit or corruption by his supporters, justice ruled, and the invaders were routed.

Then Yahweh spoke to Moses at length, instructing him about offerings by fire, burnt offerings, sin offerings, freewill offerings, meal offerings, drink offerings, heave offerings, and all the rest of the nonsense involving the needless sacrifice of healthy, sentient animals, merely to provide the "soothing fragrances" that the junkie Yahweh craved.

Now Yahweh's moral deficiencies had arisen as a result of him spending too much time in his formative years in the bizarre simulation that featured decreasing entropy, so that, in contrast to lifeforms in the real world of increasing entropy, of order tending to disorder, who come to learn that a good lifeform works to oppose that second law of thermodynamics on a local scale, Yahweh felt that it was right to oppose the strangely increasing order in his simulation. In other words, he believed that evil was good, and good was evil.

But it was also the simulation that caused his blood smelling addiction. As a Type II being, Yahweh was equipped with sensors in his head that provided visual, auditory and olfactory capabilities that humans could only dream about. But stuck in his virtual reality, he had rarely used them, and hadn't spent much time outdoors. When he arrived on Earth, he was overwhelmed by all the sensory inputs he was getting, but then he began to realize that he found it pleasing to smell blood and to watch living things die. He could not only distinguish between bullock blood, ram blood, goat blood and so on, but he could smell the difference between those that were healthy and those with some illness or ailment. And he preferred and asked for those "without blemish".

The animals that Yahweh sacrificed were well below him on a scale of sapience abilities, but they were perfectly healthy in terms of sentience, having spent their whole lives out in the natural world. But Yahweh's sentience was immature, and was causing him to exhibit strange behavior, in addition to his idiosyncratic desire to do evil.

In another ~3,500 years, there would be a Yahweh supporter who was another junkie; this one snorted his white powder. After his role as a 'comedian' and 'actor', which involved playing the piano with his miniature mutilated organ, or "microdick", he had become an illegitimate dictator, who conducted terrorist attacks against civilians, both in the country he ruled, and in a much larger neighboring nation.

While the Israelites were in the wilderness, they found a man gathering wood on the Sabbath day. Those who found him gathering sticks brought him to Moses, Aaron, and the whole assembly, and because it had not been declared what should be done to him, they placed him in custody.

And Yahweh said to Moses, "The man must surely be put to death. The whole assembly is to pelt him with stones outside the camp."

And all the assembly took the man outside the camp, and they stoned him to death, as Yahweh commanded Moses.

Now Korah, the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, took Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, and On, the son of Peleth, sons of Reuben, and they rose up before Moses, along with certain Israelites - 250 men of good name, renowned as leaders and representatives in the assembly. They came together before Moses and Aaron and told them, "You take on too much. Seeing that all the assembly is set apart, each of them, and Yahweh is in their midst, why then do you raise yourselves above the assembly of Yahweh?"

And when Moses heard he fell on his face, and he spoke to Korah and to all his company, saying, "Tomorrow, Yahweh will show who are his and who are set apart, and he will cause him to come near to himself. Him whom he has chosen he will cause to come near to himself. Do this: take censers, Korah, and all his company, and put fire in them, and put incense in them before Yahweh tomorrow, and it will be that the man whom Yahweh chooses will be set apart. You take on too much, you sons of Levi."

Moses clearly remembered Yahweh's killing of Aaron's sons Nadab and Abihu, and thought that his suggestion would make for a useful test as to who Yahweh would choose.

And Moses said to Korah, "Now listen, you sons of Levi, is it a small thing that Elohim of Israel has separated you from the assembly of Israel, to bring you near to himself to perform the work at the Tabernacle of Yahweh, and to stand before the assembly to attend to them? He has drawn you, you and all your fellow Levites, but you are seeking the priesthood as well, so that you and all your followers have conspired against Yahweh. And Aaron, who is he that you should grumble against him?"

And Moses sent word to call Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, but they said they would not come up. They said, "Is it not enough that you have brought us up out of a land flowing with milk and honey in order to kill us off in the wilderness, but that you appoint yourself as ruler over us? Moreover, you have not brought us into a land flowing with milk and honey, nor given us an inheritance of fields and vineyards. Will you gouge out the eyes of these men? No, we will not come up."

And Moses was extremely angry, and he said to Yahweh, "Do not respect their gift offering. I have not taken one donkey from them, nor have I hurt one of them."

And Moses said to Korah, "You and all your company be there before Yahweh, you, and they, and Aaron, tomorrow. And each man take his censer and put incense in them, and each man bring near before Yahweh his censer, 250 censers, you as well, and Aaron, each with his censer."

So each man took his censer, put fire and incense in it, and stood with Moses and Aaron at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting. When Korah gathered his whole assembly against them at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting, the glorious splendor of Yahweh appeared to all the assembly.

And Yahweh spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying, "Separate yourselves from among this assembly, so that I can consume them in a moment."

Then Moses and Aaron said, "El, Elohim of the spirits of all flesh, when one man sins, will you become angry with the entire assembly?"

And Yahweh spoke to Moses, telling him to speak to the assembly and say, "Get yourselves up away from around the tent of Korah, Dathan and Abiram."

And Moses rose up and went to Dathan and Abiram, and the elders of Israel followed him.

And he spoke to the assembly, telling them to depart from the tents of "these wicked men", and touch nothing of theirs, in case the assembled were consumed in all their sins.

So they moved from the tents of Korah, Dathan and Abiram, and Dathan and Abiram came out and stood at the entrance to their tents, and their wives and children.

And Moses said, "By this you will know that Yahweh has sent me to do all these works, for it was not from my own mind. If these men die a natural death, or if they suffer the fate of all men, then Yahweh has not sent me. But if Yahweh brings about something unprecedented, and the ground opens its mouth and swallows them down with all that they possess, and they go down alive into the pit, then you will know that these men have provoked Yahweh."

And it came about, just after Moses finished speaking all those words, that the ground underneath them split apart, and the ground opened its mouth and swallowed them down, and their households, and all the men of Korah, and all their property. And they sank down, they and all what they possessed, alive into the pit, and the ground closed over them, and they perished from among the assembly.

And all Israel who were around them fled at the cry of them, for they said, "In case the ground might swallow us down."

And fire from Yahweh broke out, and it consumed the 250 men who offered incense.

And Yahweh told Moses to speak to Eleazar, Aaron's son, to take the censers out of the burning, and scatter the fire at a distance, for they are holy. Let the censers of those who sinned against their own lives be made into hammered plates for a covering of the altar, for they offered them behind Yahweh, and they are holy, and they shall be a sign to the Israelites.

So the priest Eleazar took the brazen censers that those who were burned had made an offering with, and they hammered them into a covering of the altar as a reminder for the Israelites, that no stranger, nor of the seed of Aaron, should come near to burn incense before Yahweh, so that he did not become like Korah, nor like his company, as Yahweh said to him through the hand of Moses.

Then the next day all the assembly of the Israelites murmured against Moses and Aaron, saying, "You have killed the people of Yahweh."

And when the assembly gathered against Moses and against Aaron, they looked at the Tent of Meeting, and the cloud covered it, and the glorious splendor of Yahweh appeared.

And Moses and Aaron came before the Tent of Meeting, and Yahweh spoke to Moses saying, "Get yourself up from among this assembly, so that I can put an end to them at once."

And they fell on their faces, and Moses said to Aaron, "Take a censer, and put fire from the altar in it, and put incense on it, and go quickly to the assembly and make atonement for them, for anger has gone out from Yahweh. The plague has begun."

And Aaron did as Moses commanded, and he ran into the midst of the assembly, and the plague had begun among the people, and he offered the incense and made atonement for the people. And he stood between the dead and the living, and the plague was stopped. And those who died in the plague were 14,700, besides those who had died in the incident concerning Korah. And Aaron returned to Moses at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting, and the plague stopped.

So this is what Yahweh thinks of democracy. He has 14,950 people against him, and 4 who support him, so he murders the 14,950, plus another 50 or so in the households of Korah, Dathan and Abiram, to take it to around 15,000 killed.

It would come to pass, nearly 3,500 years later, that Yahweh supporters would run many of the countries in the world, through their control of the media and the banks. They would act as kingmakers, setting up 'leaders' of the main political parties who were compromised through bribery or blackmail, so that whichever side won, the result was always the same. The president or prime minister would always pursue policies that benefited Yahweh supporters and advanced their destructive agenda, and would never benefit the vast majority of the people. That is how Yahwehian 'democracies' work.

But sometimes their chicanery and machinations failed, and a good individual got through to become leader. Then they would either kill that leader, or find some way of overturning the election result. Sometimes patriotic parties would be banned, with some nonsense cited about "extremism", as if there was something outrageous about pursuing policies advantageous to the people.

And, in keeping with how Yahweh lackeys always projected their own crimes and atrocities onto their opponents, whenever there was some nation that Yahweh stooges were not already in control of, and a kindly, benevolent, patriotic leader was in place whom they naturally hated, they would accuse the good leader of committing atrocities against his people, such as "gassing" them, and they would either go to war against them or foment revolution so that the regime was deposed - and the leader generally killed.

There were numerous examples, guys with names such as Adolf, Saddam, Gaddafi, and al-Assad. The pattern was invariably the same, except that in the latter case the leader managed to flee before he was killed. And in the penultimate example there, they didn't even bother with any excuse, they just fomented revolution and killed him in a terrible way.

By their own admission, Yahweh's quislings had been kicked out of just about every place they ever tried to settle over the millennia, and this was because of their reprehensible behavior, such as child sacrifice, usury, clipping coins, agitating for wars, subverting societies and pushing degeneracy and debauchery. Get thrown out of a bar once and you might have some sort of case that it was their fault; two or three times and you might be able to argue for coincidence. After hundreds or thousands of times, all of the excuses are invalid.

As to how the Israelites were killed in these three separate strikes, this was not simply with graphene supercapacitor guns. Yahweh was quite desperate to quell the rebellion and create quite a spectacle.

Yahweh had one drone with his second most powerful DE beam, second only to the one in his spacecraft. Both of these were powered by a deuterium/helium3 fusion mix, which yielded 3.5x1014J/kg. And even the drone beam could achieve a power output of ~100 GW.

He could have used the directed energy beam in his mothership, which was capable of a power output of around 1016W, and this could be sustained for a pulse of ten seconds, discharging a total of 1017J to the target. But for these attacks, he only needed orders of magnitude smaller than the maximum. And by having the drone directly overhead, the operation was more efficient, with the beam striking at zero angle of incidence. So Yahweh's drone with the upgraded DE beam deployed its directed energy beam, which was focused onto the 'culprits'.

The first strike was more concentrated, focused over an area of ~ 50m2, so that some 50 people killed from the households of Korah, Dathan and Abiram each took up around 1 square meter. We suppose the pit is 5m deep so that the people and objects collapse into the ground, and so there is 250 m3 of the rock to be vaporized. Taking granite as an example, say the density is 2,700 kg/m3, then the mass of rock to be vaporized is 675 tonnes.

We suppose the specific heat capacity is 790 J/kg°C, the melting point is 1,260°C, the heat of fusion is 100,000 J/kg, the vaporization temperature is 2,500°C, and the heat of vaporization is 4.8x106 J/kg.

Heating to melting point requires (1,260-20) x 790 x 675,000 = 6.61x1011J.

Melting requires 100,000 x 675,000 = 6.75x1010J.

Heating to vaporization temperature requires (2,500-1,260) x 790 x 675,000 = 6.61x1011J

Vaporization requires 4,800,000 x 675,000 = 3.24x1012J.

Thus, the total energy required is 4.63x1012J = 4.63TJ, or roughly 1,100 tons (tonnes) of TNT.

And so, the whole operation including vaporization, at ~1011W, took about 46 seconds. However, within ten seconds, the unrecognizable remains of the 'culprits' were already sinking into molten rock.

The second strike was just to burn the 250 to death, without producing any crater. Even if this used a similar quantity of energy, it was focused over a larger area. So the ground could have been scorched, but not burned. But let's see about the 14,700 people in the "plague".

The third strike involved 14,700 people. For a fatal burn threshold, we could assume 20J/cm2, sufficient for third-degree burns over most of the body surface area. So we take body area for an average adult as 1.8m2 or 18,000 cm2, and so 360,000J is needed per person. That's 5.29x109J or 5.29GJ for 14,700 people. This can easily be increased by an order of magnitude or so, to allow for wastage and scorching of the ground. So say around 1011J for the "plague" that killed the 14,700, and a smaller amount to kill the 250. It could be less than 5TJ for all three attacks.

In the first strike, where Yahweh chose to bring about something unprecedented for maximum effect, he is using some 4.63TJ, which would require 13.2g of his deuterium/helium3 mix, a tiny proportion of his 48,000 tonnes limit, and a small fraction of the tens of kilograms carried in his drone. This sufficed to create the spectacle of the ground swallowing them up. Then relatively small quantities of fuel and energy are required by the next two strikes.

Then Yahweh ordered Moses to speak to the Israelites and take from them twelve staffs, one from the leader of each tribe. They had to write each man's name on his staff, and write Aaron's name on the staff of Levi, because there must be one staff for the head of each tribe. Then place the staffs in the Tent of Meeting in front of the Testimony, where Yahweh meets with Moses. The staff belonging to the man Yahweh chose would sprout, and he would rid himself of the constant grumbling of the Israelites against Moses.

So Moses did as Yahweh commanded, and every one of the rulers gave him one staff for each ruler, in keeping with their father's houses, twelve staffs, and the staff of Aaron was among their staffs. And Moses laid the staffs before Yahweh in the Tent of the Testimony.

And the next day when Moses went into the Testimony, he saw that the staff of Aaron for the House of Levi had sprouted and shot out buds and produced blossoms, and it yielded almonds. Then Moses brought out all the staffs from before Yahweh to all the Israelites, and they looked, and each man took his staff.

And Yahweh told Moses to bring Aaron's staff back again before the Testimony, to be kept as a sign against the sons of the rebellion, and he should completely put their murmurings away from Yahweh, lest they die.

And Moses did as Yahweh commanded.

Then the sons of Israel spoke to Moses, saying, "Look, we die, we perish, we all perish. Anybody who draws near the Tabernacle of Yahweh dies. Shall we be consumed into death?"

Most of them must have been ruing the day their ancestor Abram decided to have anything to do with Yahweh. And they were ruing the day they agreed to do the heave offering to build the Sanctuary.

One of Yahweh's robots had brought the freshly sprouted almond branch under cover of darkness during the night, landing in the courtyard just outside the entrance to the Tent of Meeting. Yahweh came out and wrote Aaron's name on the replacement "Aaron's staff", and the robot took away the old one.

Then Yahweh told Aaron that he, and his sons, and his father's house, would bear the iniquity of the Sanctuary, and he and his sons would bear the iniquity of the priesthood. Aaron also had to bring his relatives from the tribe of Levi, his ancestor's tribe, and they would be associated with him and would serve him, while Aaron and his sons serve before the Tent of the Testimony. And the Levites had to attend to Aaron's needs, and all the duties of the Tent.

Yahweh continued with a menacing threat, "Only they shall not come near the utensils of the Sanctuary and the altar, so that neither they, nor you, also, die. And they shall be joined to you, and keep the duties of the Tent of Meeting, for all the service of the Tent."

The dastardly devil didn't want anyone to get too close to him at random times when he might not have his Terminator face shielded by the orb avatar cloud, but Aaron hadn't asked for the job, two of his sons had already been killed by Yahweh, and now he and his surviving sons risked being killed if someone else made a mistake in performing their duties. Considering any minuscule rewards Aaron received from his position, and the enormous risks involved, only a complete moron would have wanted the job.

Yahweh added that no stranger must come near Aaron, and it was Aaron's responsibility to attend to the Sanctuary and the care of the altar, so that there would be no more anger against the sons of Israel.

Yahweh tried to suggest there were significant benefits to Aaron's position, saying that he had taken Aaron's fellow Levites and given to Aaron as a gift to Yahweh, to carry out the service of the Tent of Meeting. And he said he had given Aaron the office of priesthood as a gift for service.

No he hadn't. Yahweh never gave anyone a gift; he would have sold his own mother if he could. And the office of priesthood was like a millstone round the neck.

Yahweh added that any stranger who came near would be put to death. Yes, probably with Yahweh's graphene supercapacitor gun.

Next Yahweh told Aaron that he had put him in charge of the heave offerings brought by the Israelites, and said that these were dedicating to Aaron and his sons, and they must eat it in the Sanctuary.

Ever anxious to get his fix, Yahweh told Aaron that the firstborn of a cow, a sheep or a goat were all set apart, they could not be redeemed for 5 shekels of silver, and Aaron must sprinkle their blood on the altar and burn their fat in incense for an offering made by fire, for a soothing fragrance to Yahweh. Aaron would be entitled to the flesh, the breast and the right thigh of the wave offering.

Aaron was told that he would have no inheritance in the land, because Yahweh was his portion and his inheritance among the Israelites. This was rather like receiving a wooden spoon award, and finding out that it came with a curse. Yahweh added that the Israelites must no longer come near the Tent of Meeting, lest they die.

Yahweh gave Moses a series of lectures about tithes, and about "unclean" people. As part of this, he demanded that Moses arrange for the priest Eleazar to sacrifice a red heifer without blemish, that had never been placed under a yoke, and Eleazar had to sprinkle some of its blood seven times directly in front of the Tent of Meeting. Then Moses had to burn it in his sight.

And even though Eleazar was merely carrying out Yahweh's commandments to satisfy Yahweh's lust for blood, Eleazar had to wash his clothes and flesh, and even then, he had to go outside into the camp, as he was classed as "unclean" until the evening.

Then the sons of Israel, all of the assembly, came into the Wilderness of Zin in the first month, and they stayed in Kadesh. And Miriam died and was buried there. Now this was around forty years after Yahweh's nasty prank with his hologram projector, that made Miriam's skin look white and leprous like snow. (The earlier Kadesh was in the Wilderness of Paran in the Sinai.) So it was a natural death, unrelated to that incident.

And there was no water for the assembly, and they gathered themselves together against Moses and Aaron.

The people contended with Moses, and they said, "If only we had died when our brothers died before Yahweh! And why have you brought us into this wilderness, so that we and our cattle should die here? And why have you made us come out of Egypt, to bring us into this evil place? It is a place of no seed, nor of figs, nor of vines, nor of pomegranates, nor is there any water to drink."

And Moses and Aaron went from the presence of the assembly to the entrance of the Tent of Meeting, and they fell on their faces, and the glorious splendor of Yahweh appeared to them.

Yahweh said to Moses, "Take this staff, and gather the assembly together, you and Aaron, and speak to the rock before their eyes, and it will give out its water, and you shall bring water out of the rock for them, so you shall give drink to the assembly and their animals."

And Moses took the staff from before Yahweh, as he commanded him, and Moses and Aaron gathered the assembly together before the rock, and he said to them, "Listen now, you rebels! Must we fetch you water out of this rock?"

And Moses lifted up his hand and he struck the rock twice with his staff, and water came out abundantly, and the assembly drank and their animals.

This was the same trick Yahweh had done nearly forty years ago with the rock at Horeb, except that when they got to Horeb, Yahweh had been leading them with the pillar of cloud or light. Now they had the Ark, which would go before them to lead the way. In both cases, Yahweh was leading them by the nose.

And this time he had led them to Horeb, because his 'locust' drones had spotted a natural spring there, and so a few of his robots found a suitable rock to block its mouth, that Moses would be able to roll away. A little fine tuning of the rock's shape with a graphene supercapacitor gun helped to make the rock a good fit.

Yahweh was pleased that his trick had worked, but he was angry at still having to dedicate resources to this sort of work after forty years. He said to Moses and Aaron, "Because you did not believe me, to set me apart in the eyes of the Israelites, therefore you shall not bring this assembly into the land that I have given them."

So there we have it. Moses and Aaron always groveled to Yahweh and did everything he asked, and then Yahweh decided to punish them because they could not control the rebellion. Apart from satiating his blood lust, Yahweh was only interested in his agenda of establishing a band of saboteurs that would go on to stifle and severely damage humanity's emerging civilization. If a couple of servants had obeyed his every command and done the best they could, he would gladly replace them with young blood, with someone fresh who was not associated with the revolts that Yahweh found so frustrating.

But Yahweh was especially angered by Moses making an error. Moses assumed that "speak to the rock" meant hitting it with the staff as he had done before; he did not realize that Yahweh intended his command to be taken literally...

And they called that the water of Meribah, because the Israelites contended with Yahweh, and he set himself apart among them.

Then Moses sent messengers out to ask the king of Edom if he would grant them safe passage through his country, adding that they would stick to the highway, would not drink from their water or pass through their vineyards, and included a sob story about being oppressed by the Egyptians, and about how their 'god' had brought them out of Egypt and along to Kadesh. Being almost infinitely smarter than the vast majority of political leaders that would ensue over the following millennia, the king refused to the request, even threatening that if they did try he might come at them with the sword.

The Israelites tried again by saying that they would go by the highway and if they or their cattle did drink any water they would pay the price. In the future, many a country would be driven to ruin after Yahweh supporters bribed weak leaders to let them in, and people would be subjected to appalling barbarism and atrocities. And the wise king doubled down and said no, and even put on a show of force to deter them. So the Israelites turned back.

Then the sons of Israel traveled on from Kadesh, and came to Mount Hor, by the border of the land of Edom.

Yahweh spoke to Moses and Aaron there at Mount Hor, saying, "Aaron shall be gathered to his people, for he shall not enter into the land that I have given to the sons of Israel, because you rebelled against My word at the water of Meribah. Take Aaron and his son Eleazar, and bring them up to Mount Hor, and strip Aaron of his garments, and put them on his son Eleazar, and Aaron shall be gathered up, and there he shall die."

And Moses obeyed Yahweh, and they went up into Mount Hor in sight of all the assembly, and Moses stripped Aaron of his garments, and he put them on his son Eleazar, and Aaron died there in the top of the mountain, and Moses and Eleazar came down from the mountain.

And when all the assembly perceived that Aaron was dead, they mourned for him for 30 days.

Yahweh doesn't even try to hide the fact that he killed Aaron, one of his top two servants. He had a drone with a directed energy beam and its 'cloud' camouflage at an altitude of 1km above Mount Hor, but the breastplate and other priestly garments had to be saved, so that they could be handed down whenever there was a new high priest.

Once the garments were transferred to Eleazar, and Eleazar and Moses were at a safe enough distance, Yahweh used one of his drones to fire a tightly focused 30GHz microwave beam at Aaron for twenty seconds. He aimed at the right vagus nerve to destroy much of the parasympathetic nervous system and specifically wreck the heart's SA node, and Aaron suffered cardiac arrest.

The beam diameter was 25cm, and the power density was 50W/cm2. Thus, the beam area is ~490cm2, the total power is ~24.5kW, and for the exposure time of 20 seconds the total energy cost is only ~490kJ.

Moses and Eleazar were about 2 or 3m away from Aaron, and the beam intensity by them was so low that they felt nothing. At a range of 1m they would have felt some heating but probably no significant injury.

Yahweh had many qualities, but few of them were good. And loyalty wasn't one of them. Neither was fair-mindedness.

If Aaron had been so weak that he was just about to die from old age, he wouldn't have been able to climb a mountain. Or if he was just able to and the exertion killed him, an all-knowing, benevolent god would have known of the risk, and would not have asked him to perform an arduous task. However, even if the exertion was likely to kill him and Yahweh was aware of this, the timing would be too coincidental, of Aaron dying just after the priestly garments were transferred to his successor.

Yahweh killed Aaron. And he would have gladly killed Moses too at this point. The difference was that Aaron's successor was already trained and available, whereas Moses was not completely expendable. He was still useful, either for training his successor, or performing a ritual in which he would authorize the successor.

Then King Arad the Canaanite, who lived in the south, heard that Israel was coming by the road of the Atharim, and he attacked the Israelites and took some of them prisoners.

And Israel made a vow to Yahweh, and they said if he delivered the people into their hand, they would completely destroy their cities.

And Yahweh heard the Israelites' voice, and he delivered up the Canaanites, and they completely destroyed them and their cities, and he called the place Hormah.

So here Yahweh decided it would suit his purpose to give his people some help, so that the youngsters who hadn't 'rebelled' could get to his promised land - after he'd disposed of any other 'undesirables'. And after all, he'd just had a drone with the standard supercapacitors-powered DE beam up above them to kill Aaron. So transmitting a pulsed 7Hz theta wave to induce trance-like states, drowsiness and slowed reactions in the Canaanites would be well within its capabilities. Even if his beam did kill a few of them, he didn't need to kill them all, just impair their fighting capabilities so much that they were easy prey for the Israelites.

Then they traveled on from Mount Hor by the route of the Red Sea, to go around the land of Edom, but the people grew impatient because of the distance. The people spoke against their Elohim and against Moses, "Why have you brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? For there is no bread, nor water, and our whole being loathes this worthless bread."

A lazy, bloodthirsty narcissist has spent the last forty years working to harvest the honeydew excretion from aphids and scale insects, in order to feed his people in the desert, dropping it to them for sustenance each night. And hearing that they loathed his life-saving food felt almost like a lightning strike to his internal circuits.

So Yahweh sent burning snakes among the people, and they bit the people, and many people of Israel died.

Then the people came to Moses and they said, "We have sinned, for we have spoken against Yahweh, and against you. Pray to Yahweh that he takes the snakes away from us."

And Moses prayed for the people.

Then Yahweh told Moses to make a burning snake and fix it on a pole, and everyone who had been bitten, when he looks on it, will live.

And Moses made a snake of brass and put it on a pole, and it happened that, if a snake had bitten any man, when he looked at the snake of brass he lived.

Yahweh and his robots had been working on their "snakes" discipline program for about twenty years, since the rebellion of Korah. At first Yahweh had considered taking a more complex approach - genetically engineering thousands of snakes from scratch to his own specifications. They would be programmed to target and bite humans, but would not be venomous.

He would employ other methods of killing the bitten individuals, and if a few others died without being bitten, all well and good, it would be more retribution from Yahweh. After Moses prayed and the symbolic ritual of looking at the brass snake was performed, he would simply stop the killings. At least, for a while.

Yahweh decided against the approach of engineering from scratch, because it was too energy intensive, mainly the AI computing power that was needed to simulate and optimize the genetic designs for snake-like organisms, and the molecular assembly of organic compounds, each of which could have taken up to 1018J, around 0.01% of his earmarked reserves.

He noticed that there was a type of snake with a dark reddish head, and scales on it having an iridescent shine like a diadem - the Diadem snake. It would bite humans, and its venom could kill its smaller prey, but was fairly insignificant on humans.

And Yahweh decided on a hybrid strategy of capture, modify, scale. He had his 'locust' drones seek out specimens, and then nanobot swarms captured them harmlessly and brought them back in shuttle drones to the mothership. Then his nanobots mapped out their genomes, neuromuscular systems and behavior, and programmed targeting instincts, so that they became aggressive and would actively target humans for attack. Finally he cloned around 10,000 of the new breed in growth chambers.

The whole operation only took around 1016J, and used a smaller proportion of the spaceship's floor space compared to the alternative manufacturing method. It did increase the time needed from around three months up to twenty years, but Yahweh rather enjoyed his time as a devil posing as a 'god', and smelling the blood, fat and incense that was offered up by his pathetic servants.

His 'locust' drones would survey people to see who was getting bitten by a snake. Anyone who was bitten would be assigned one of the 'locust' drones to track them, and put into a database, which was actually a death list. At some suitable time over the coming hours, when there was enough clearance between the target and adjacent people, the drone with the DE beam weapon that killed Aaron would deliver a fatal 30GHz microwave beam.

However, a clearance of 1m should have been sufficient to save a bystander from all but mild effects. And if perchance some onlooker walked right into the line of fire, Yahweh would not stop to save that person; he would gladly kill both of them.

Then Yahweh would update his database with information on who had looked at Moses' brass snake, and all who did were deleted from the death list, so that they did not die.

And the Israelites moved on, and camped at Oboth. Then they traveled on and pitched camp at Ije-Abarim, in the wilderness, facing Moab, towards the east. Next they departed from there and went to camp in the Valley of Zered. Then they moved on and camped on the other side of the Arnon, in the wilderness that extends into the Amorite territory. The Arnon is the border between the Moabites and the Amorites.

Then they went on to Beer, the well where Yahweh said to Moses, "Gather the people together, and I will give them water." Then Israel sang a song about the well springing up.

And from the wilderness the Israelites went on to Mattanah, and from Mattanah to Nahaliel, and from Nahaliel to Bamoth, and from Bamoth to the top of Pisgah, which overlooks the desert.

Then Israel sent messengers to Sihon, king of the Amorites, saying, "Let us pass through your land. We will not cut through any fields or vineyard, or drink water from any well. We will stay on the King's Highway until we have passed through your territory."

Being rather smart - and almost infinitely so compared to many of the pathetic spokespeople for Yahweh enthusiasts who would pass themselves off as 'leaders' in another 3,400 years, Sihon refused their request, and he gathered his army and went to fight Israel in the wilderness. Sadly, the Israelites had an unfair advantage. Their Elohim, a being originating from a Type II civilization, albeit one with mental disease, used a drone with its DE weapon, sometimes to kill, but generally to deliver a pulsed 7Hz theta wave to impair the Amorites' fighting abilities.

Sihon's forces got to Jahaz to fight the Israelites, but the Israelites struck him with the edge of the sword and took possession of his land from Arnon to Jabbock, as far as the sons of Ammon. However, the border of the Ammonites was fortified, and they could not pass it.

And Israel took the cities of the Amorites and lived in them, including Heshbon and all its villages. Heshbon was the city of Sihon, king of the Amorites, who had fought against the former king of Moab and taken all his land as far as Arnon.

Then Moses sent men to secretly spy on Jazer, and captured its villages and drove out the Amorites there.

Then they turned and went by the road of Bashan, and Og, king of Bashan, went out with all his army against them in battle at Edrei.

And Yahweh said to Moses, "Do not fear him, for I have given him into your hand, and all his people, and his land, and you shall do with him as you did to Sihon, king of the Amorites, who lived at Heshbon."

And they struck Og and all his people, until no remnant was left, and they took possession of his land. Yahweh was continuing to favor his servants by attacking their enemies' fighting capabilities, not because he liked his servants, but because he needed a band of saboteurs.

Then the Israelites set forward and pitched camp in the plains of Moab on this side of the Jordan at Jericho. And Balak, son of Zippur, saw everything that Israel had done to the Amorites. And the land of Moab was bitterly afraid, and distressed because of the Israelites.

And Moab said to the elders of Midian that the assembly would lick up all who were around them, like the ox licks up the grass of the field.

Balak, the son of Zippor, was king of the Moabites, and he sent messengers to Balaam, son of Beor, to Pethor, by the Euphrates in the land of his people, asking for Balaam's help, suggesting that Balaam should curse these people who came out of Egypt, and then they might prevail over them.

The elders of Moab and the elders of Midian departed and came to Balaam and relayed Balak's message. Balaam told them to spend the night there, and he would bring word back to them, as Yahweh would speak to him. So the rulers of Moab stayed with Balaam.

Then Yahweh appeared to Balaam and asked about the men who were with him.

So Balaam's apparent unusual abilities in being able to bless or curse people actually derived from Satan (Yahweh) himself, who would ingratiate himself with anyone he thought would further his agenda.

Balaam told Yahweh that Balak had sent word to him about a people who had come out of Egypt, and now covered the face of the land. He said Balak had asked him to curse the people, so that he might be able to overcome them and drive them on.

Yahweh told Balaam not to go with them, and not to curse the people, for they were blessed.

Then Balaam rose in the morning, for Yahweh had appeared to him in a dream, and he told Balak's princes to get back to their land, for Yahweh was refusing to let him go with them.

And the rulers of Moab returned to Balak, and they said that Balaam was refusing to come with them.

Then Balak sent more princes, more numerous and distinguished than the first delegation.

And they came to Balaam and they said Balak had promised to promote Balaam to extremely high honor, and do whatever he said, if only he would come and curse the Israelites for them.

Balaam said even if Balak gave him all of his silver and gold, he still could not go beyond the word of Yahweh, his Elohim. However, they should stay with him that night, so that he could know what more Yahweh would say to him.

And Yahweh appeared to Balaam at night, and he said that if the men came to call him, then rise up and go with them, but only do as Yahweh instructed.

And Balaam rose in the morning and saddled his donkey, and went with the rulers of Moab. And Yahweh's anger burned because Balaam was really going.

This shows how irrational Yahweh had become. He is angry at people for disobeying him, and angry at them for obeying him. But devils are not always rational, especially when coming off from blood, fats and incense smelling feasts.

The "Angel" of Yahweh stood in the road as an adversary against Balaam. And as Balaam was riding on his donkey, with his two servants, and the donkey saw the Angel of Yahweh standing in the road, his sword in his hand, and the donkey turned aside out of the way and went into the field, and Balaam struck her to bring her back into the road.

At this time, the so-called "Angel" was a non-lethal beam of infra-red, fired from Yahweh's drone into the road in front of the donkey. As the donkey's nose came into range, she turned aside in pain.

But next the "Angel" or heat beam stood in a path of the vineyards, with a wall on each side. And when the donkey's nose came within range, she thrust herself to the wall, and crushed Balaam's foot against the wall, and he struck her again.

Then the beam or "angel" was focused on a narrow place with no way to turn, either to the left or right, and the donkey collapsed in pain and fell down under Balaam, with the beam quickly turned off after it had done its work so that Balaam did not see any reason for the donkey's behavior, and so his anger glowed and he struck her with a staff.

At this point Yahweh switched from his direct energy beam to his parametric speakers. The ultrasonic waves were directed to a point near the donkey's mouth, and modulated by the audio signal, the words that the donkey was supposedly speaking.

Balaam heard what he believed was the donkey talking to him, "What have I done to you that you have struck me three times?"

And Balaam said to the donkey, "Because you have mocked me. I wish there was a sword in my hand, for now I would kill you."

The 'donkey' voice said to Balaam, "Am I not your donkey on which you have ridden ever since I was yours until this day? Was I ever inclined to act like this towards you?"

And he said, "No."

Then Yahweh turned on his hologram projector, and Balaam saw what he believed was the "Angel of Yahweh" standing in the road with his sword drawn in his hand, and Balaam bowed down his head and went flat on his face.

Then Balaam believed the "Angel" was saying to him, "Why have you struck your donkey these three times? See now, I have come as an adversary, for your way is perverse before me. And the donkey saw me, and she turned away from me these three times. Unless she had turned from me, surely now I would have killed you and saved her alive."

Balaam replied saying that he had sinned, for he had not known the "Angel" was standing in the road against him, and if the "Angel" didn't approve of his actions, he would go back by himself.

And Yahweh, or the "Angel", told him, "Go with the men, but only say what I tell you to."

So Balaam went with the princes of Balak. And when Balak heard that Balaam had come, he went out to meet him at a city of Moab, on the border of Amon.

Balak asked Balaam if he did not earnestly send word to call him, why did he not come at first, and did he not think Balak could promote him to honor?

Balaam replied that he had now come to Balak, but he could not say anything freely because he had to speak as his god dictated.

Then Balaam went with Balak, and they went to Kirjath Huzoth. Balak slaughtered oxen and sheep, and invited Balaam and the princes to dinner. And in the morning Balak took Balaam up to the high places of Baal.

Yahweh had been missing the smell of blood, and his olfactory systems were sensitive enough to discern burning animal meat and blood from his invisible drone above the men. Under the directives of his Elohim, Balaam told Balak to build seven altars there under Yahweh's drone, and to prepare seven oxen and seven rams. Balak did as he asked, and they sacrificed a bullock and a ram on the altar.

Then Balaam told Balak to stand by his burnt offering, then he would go, and perhaps Yahweh would come to meet him, and whatever he showed Balaam, then Balaam would tell Balak. And he went to a high place.

When Balaam was far enough away that Balak could not see Yahweh's holographic projection, or hear the sound from his parametric speakers, Yahweh switched on his audio and video so that he could 'appear' to Balaam. Yahweh gave him a little speech to say to Balak, and told him to return and tell it to him.

So Balaam returned to Balak and the rulers of Moab, where they were standing by the burnt sacrifice, and he told them his parable. It began by telling of how Balak had asked him to curse Jacob and Israel, and then Balaam told of how he could not revile those who Yahweh had not denounced, and suggested that he would rather die the death of the upright, failing to understand that those who were upright were not on the side of Yahweh.

Balak said to Balaam, "What have you done to me? I took you to revile my enemies, and you have gone and blessed them abundantly."

Balaam replied that he had to take heed to say what Yahweh had told him."

Balak tried again, and asked Balaam to come to another place, from where he could see part of the Israelites' camp, although not all of them, and he could curse them from there.

And he took him to the field of Zophim, to the top of Pisgah. He built seven altars and offered a bull and a ram on each altar.

Balaam told Balak to wait by the burnt offering, and he would go away to meet Yahweh.

So Yahweh met Balaam, and he told him another series of words to say to Balak, and told him to go back and say it.

Balaam returned to Balak and the rulers of Moab, who were standing by the burnt offering.

Balak asked what Yahweh had said this time.

Balaam delivered his parable on how El was not a man who would lie, and he had blessed and seen no iniquity in Jacob nor perverseness in Israel. Yahweh had brought them out of Egypt, and had the strength of a wild ox. Little did Balaam understand that Yahweh also had the cunning of a fox, but lacked even the morals of an alley cat.

Then Balak took Balaam to another place, to the top of Peor, which looks towards the desert. Balaam told Balak to build another seven altars and prepare seven bullocks and seven rams. And Balak did as asked, and sacrificed the animals.

Balaam saw that it pleased Yahweh to bless Israel, and this time he turned towards the wilderness, looked down, and saw Israel camping with their tribes.

Getting his inspiration from Satan (Yahweh), Balaam took up his parable, and he delivered a speech praising Jacob and Israel, speaking about their beautiful tents and other statements about Yahweh's strength.

Balak's anger glowed, and he struck his hands together, and said to Balaam, "I called you to pierce my enemies with words, and, look, you have blessed them abundantly these three times. So flee now to your own place. I thought to promote you to an extreme honor, but look, Yahweh has held you back from honor."

Balaam continued to spout ludicrous pro-Yahweh propaganda, but fortunately he eventually rose and left, and went back to his own place, and Balak did too.

And Israel remained in Shittim, and the people began to commit whoredom with the daughters of Moab. And they invited the people to the sacrifices of their god, and the people ate and bowed down to their god. Israel yoked himself to Baal of Peor, and the anger of Yahweh glowed against Israel.

Yahweh said to Moses, "Take all the chiefs of the people and hang them before Yahweh, exposed to the sun, so that the fierce anger of Yahweh might be turned away from Israel."

And Moses said to the judges of Israel, "Each of you kill his men who joined in worshiping Baal of Peor."

Then one of the Israelites came and brought a Midianite woman to his brothers in sight of Moses and in sight of all the assembly of the Israelites, and they were weeping at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting. And when Phinehas, the son of Aaron's son Eleazar, saw, he rose up from among the assembly and took a javelin in his hand, and he went after the man of Israel into the tent and he thrust both of them through, the man of Israel, and the woman, through her abdomen. So the plague was stopped from the sons of Israel. And those who died in the plague were 24,000.

It would come to pass, in another 3,400 years or so, that whenever Yahweh supporters wanted to do a regime change because some particular country had a patriotic leader who cared more about his own people than enriching himself by taking bribes from Satan's little helpers, they would falsely accuse the leader of killing some of his own people. Yahweh killed 24,000 of his own servants in this one incident alone, by his own admission, and yet he was somehow supposed to be the best thing since the Sun.

And Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying that Phinehas had turned away his anger, so that he did not consume all the Israelites in his jealousy. Therefore, he would receive Yahweh's Covenant of Peace, and he and his seed would possess it, because he was zealous for his Elohim, and made atonement for the Israelites.

Yahweh used his directed energy weapon to kill tens of thousands of his own people, because they chose to worship one of his rivals. And rather than an evil dictator killing his own people, Yahweh describes it as a plague, like some natural event that no one could prevent.

Now the name of the Israelite killed by Phinehas was Zimri, the son of Salu, a ruler of a chief house among the Simeonites. And the name of the Midianite woman who was killed was Cozbi, the daughter of Zur, tribal head over a chief household in Midian.

And Yahweh spoke to Moses telling him to treat with hostility the Midianites and strike them, for they vexed the Israelites with their tricks by which they beguiled them in the matter of Peor and Cozbi, who was killed in the day of the plague because of Peor.

Then after the plague Yahweh spoke to Moses and to Eleazar, the son of the late priest Aaron, ordering them to take the numbers of all the assembly of the Israelites, from 20 years old and upwards, all who were able to go to war in Israel.

And Moses and the priest Eleazar spoke to the Israelites in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho, telling them to number the people from 20 years and up, as Yahweh had commanded Moses.

For a comparison, the figures in brackets show the previous numbering, from when Moses and Aaron numbered the Israelites in the Wilderness of Sinai, about 38 years previously.

The Reubenites numbered 43,730 (46,500).

The sons of Simeon amounted to 22,200 (59,300).

The sons of Gad totaled 40,500 (45,650).

The Judahites counted were 76,500 (74,600).

The sons of Issachar came to 64,300 (54,400).

The sons of Zebulun were numbered as 60,500 (57,400).

The sons of Joseph in their families, Manasseh were 52,700 (32,200), and the Ephraimites were 32,500 (40,500).

The sons of Benjamin numbered 45,600 (35,400).

The sons of Dan totaled 64,400 (62700).

The sons of Asher counted were 53,400 (41,500).

And the sons of Naphtali numbered 45,400 (53,400).

Thus, the total numbered were 601,730 (603,550).

The sons of Simeon have suffered the greatest losses under Yahweh. And for each of the sons of Joseph to change so very differently, it's almost like they were mixed up in one of the censuses.

Now after the rebellion of Korah, when Yahweh did a big purge and had the ground swallow up some people whilst others were killed with his directed energy beam, the sons of Korah escaped death; they were too far away to fall into the pit.

Then the Levites were numbered separately, for they were not given any inheritance of the land. All males from a month old and upwards numbered 23,300 (22,000). But among these, no man remained whom Moses and Aaron had numbered in the Wilderness of Sinai, for Yahweh had said, "They will surely die in the wilderness." And the only men left were Caleb, the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua, the son of Nun.

Each time, the Levites were all numbered from one month old and up. And Yahweh had said, "Not one of the men who have seen My glory and the signs I performed in Egypt and in the wilderness, yet have tested Me and disobeyed Me these ten times, not one will ever see the land that I swore to give their fathers. None of those who have treated Me with contempt will see it. But because My servant Caleb has a different spirit and has followed Me wholeheartedly, I will bring him into the land he has entered, and his descendants will inherit it."

It was 39 years previously when Yahweh carried out his plagues and they came out of Egypt. And 38 years since they were numbered the first time. Let's take the latter of 38 years since the time when Yahweh decided, "They will surely die in the wilderness."

If Yahweh is telling the truth here, and let's suppose his definition of men is 20 years and up, then all of those who would have been 58 years and up by this time would be dead by the next year, when Joshua would take those remaining into Jericho. However, Yahweh knew that the typical lifespan was only about 30 to 40 for the regular people, excluding his favored patriarchs, whose lifespans were greatly extended with the aid of Yahweh's cell repair nanobots. And if perchance any outliers did get to 58 years and over, Yahweh would mercilessly kill them off.

Caleb and Joshua were the only two at this time who were getting Yahweh's cell repair treatment. And with his plagues, Yahweh had killed slightly more than the natural growth that might be expected in the population.

In order to keep his word about none of the men except Caleb and Joshua seeing the promised land, Yahweh just had to keep them waiting until all of that generation had either died naturally, or if not, had been victims of Yahweh's "Final Solution" to the "Rebellion Problem".

And so his population has stagnated over this period, of Yahweh's addiction to smelling blood and burning animal fats.

Then the daughters of Zelophehad, who was of the Manasseh tribe, came before Moses and the priest Eleazar, and before the rulers and the assembly, at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting, and they said their father died in the wilderness but had no sons and was not part of the rebellion of Korah, and asked why shouldn't an inheritance of the land pass on to the daughters.

Moses brought their case before Yahweh, and Yahweh agreed and said the daughters were correct, they should be given a possession of an inheritance among their father's brothers. And he told Moses to tell the Israelites that if a man died with no sons, then his inheritance should pass on to his daughter. If he had no daughter, then the inheritance should pass on to his brothers. If he had no brothers, it should pass on to his uncles. And if he had no uncles, it should pass on to his next of kin from his clan, and this was to be a statute of judgment for the Israelites.

Then Yahweh, whose desire to get rid of Moses was barely exceeded by his need for a successor to take over, told Moses, "Get yourself up into this Mount Abarim, and see the land that I have given to the sons of Israel. And when you have seen it, you also shall be gathered to your people, as your brother Aaron was gathered. For you rebelled against My commandment in the Wilderness of Zin, in the strife of the assembly, to honor Me at the water before their eyes, the water of Meribah in Kadesh in the Wilderness of Zin."

Yahweh was being deliberately deceptive. Previously, Yahweh had told Moses to do the trick with the rock at Horeb, by taking the staff with which he struck the Nile, and striking the rock, so that the water would come out from the spring it was covering up.

And then the next time, at Kadesh in the Wilderness of Zin, Yahweh told Moses to take the staff, assemble the congregation, and then Moses and Aaron were to speak to the rock while they watched, and it would pour out its water, to provide drink for the congregation and their livestock.

Yahweh had planned a new variation of the trick for that occasion, in which Moses and Aaron would speak to the rock, and then Yahweh's directed energy beam would be tightly focused on the rock, creating enough instability that it could seal off the water no longer. Moses made an understandable mistake in thinking that the trick remained the same, and "speaking to the rock" was not to be taken literally but taken as a metaphor for striking it. After all, he had been ordered to take the staff.

And Yahweh's anger, in not being able to perform the trick in the novel variation he was planning, sealed the death warrants of both Aaron and Moses. But Yahweh had also hedged his bet, in the knowledge that any minor transgression would provide him with a so-called justification for killing both of them.

Anyone searching for characteristics such as loyalty, mercy, and fairness of judgment in Yahweh would have better prospects of getting blood out of a stone.

Moses, ever loyal and gullible, suggested that Yahweh should appoint a man over the assembly who could go out before them, and in before them, and who could lead them in, and bring them out, so that the assembly of Yahweh was not like sheep that have no shepherd.

And Yahweh told Moses to take Joshua, the son of Nun, a man who had the spirit in him, and to lay his hand on him. Then set him before the priest Eleazar, and before all the assembly, and authorize him in their sight. Moses should put his authority on Joshua, so that all the assembly of the Israelites might be obedient. And he should take his stand before the priest Eleazar, who should ask counsel by him for the decision of the Urim before Yahweh. At his instruction they should go out, at his word they should go in, he and all the Israelites, all the assembly.

And Moses did as Yahweh commanded, and he took Joshua and set him before the priest Eleazar, and before all the assembly, and he laid his hands on him, and authorized him.

Then Yahweh spoke to Moses, at length over the same preposterous nonsense about burnt offerings, animal sacrifices and soothing fragrances, much of which he had already expounded on.

There was a regular daily burnt offering of two lambs of the first year without blemish. On each Sabbath Yahweh got an extra two lambs in addition to the daily offering. Then on the first of each month there were seven lambs, 2 bullocks, a ram, and a kid of the goats.

And there was the Passover annual feast, around the middle of the first month, in which the same animals earmarked for the first of the month were also sacrificed for Yahweh. Then there was the Firstfruit offering, when Yahweh would receive the same eleven animals, and all unblemished.

Then there was the trumpets blowing day on the 1st day of the seventh month; Yahweh would get only one bullock but still the seven lambs, one ram and a kid of the goats, and this was in addition to the monthly offering of the eleven animals and all other daily offerings.

On the 10th of the seventh month for the day of atonement Yahweh got 1 young bullock, 1 ram, 7 lambs of the first year, and the kid of the goats for a "sin offering".

Starting on the 15th of the seventh month, there was the Tabernacle, a 7-day feast to Yahweh; but it was actually eight days. Here are the sacrifices that Yahweh demanded:

1st day: 13 young bullocks, 2 rams, 14 lambs of the first year, 1 kid of the goats, 30 animals in total,
2nd day: 12 young bullocks, 2 rams, 14 lambs of the first year, 1 kid of the goats, 29 animals in total,
3rd day: 11 young bullocks, 2 rams, 14 lambs of the first year, 1 kid of the goats, 28 animals in total,
4th day: 10 young bullocks, 2 rams, 14 lambs of the first year, 1 kid of the goats, 27 animals in total,
5th day: 9 young bullocks, 2 rams, 14 lambs of the first year, 1 kid of the goats, 26 animals in total,
6th day: 8 young bullocks, 2 rams, 14 lambs of the first year, 1 kid of the goats, 25 animals in total,
7th day: 7 young bullocks, 2 rams, 14 lambs of the first year, 1 kid of the goats, 24 animals in total,
8th day: 1 young bullock, 2 rams, 7 lambs of the first year, 1 kid of the goats, 11 animals in total.

Hence, the total of animals sacrificed for the Tabernacle alone was 200. Yahweh was quite the spoiled brat!

Then Yahweh told Moses his laws about vows between a man and his wife.

And next, Yahweh commanded Moses to have some of the Israelites go to war against the Midianites, as "vengeance", and then Moses would be gathered to his people.

Moses spoke to the people, and told them to arm some of themselves for war, and let them go out against the Midianites, and render the vengeance of Yahweh on Midian. They had to send into war 1,000 from every tribe, throughout all the tribes of Israel.

So out of the thousands of Israel, 1,000 per tribe were recruited, 12,000 assigned for war. And Moses sent them to war.

A similar scenario would play out in around another 3,400 years, except that Yahweh worshipers would be having 'leaders' and politicians, whom they had propelled to power and were controlling through bribery or blackmail, make the case for war by lying, e.g., about "weapon of mass destruction", or "mobile bioweapon labs", or attempts to buy "yellowcake", and gibberish about evil 'dictators'.

Also Phinehas, son of the priest Eleazar, was sent to war with the holy vessels and the trumpets for signaling.

They fought against the Midianites, as Yahweh commanded Moses, and they slaughtered all the males. They killed all the chiefs of Midian, and one of those slaughtered with the sword was Balaam, son of Beor. Balaam had signed his own death warrant by choosing to obey Yahweh.

The sons of Israel took captive women of Midian, and their children, and they took the spoil of their cattle, their sheep and their goods. They burned with fire all their cities, and all their forts. They looted all the goods of men and animals.

So far, the Midianites had been spared the terrible fate of other victims of Yahweh worshipers another 3,400 years hence, when tens of thousands of women and children would be slaughtered in cold blood, in tents, in hospitals, in homes, in schools, and in mosques, with bombs supplied by a puppet satellite state occupied and controlled by Yahweh worshipers. And the only 'crime' committed by these victims of Yahweh fanatics was that they occupied the land first, and terrorist Yahweh fanatics declared an illegal occupation state and claimed the land as their own, and then proceeded to carry out genocide and ethnic cleansing.

Yahweh, in his drone overhead, was using his directed energy beam to modulate the Midianites' brainwaves, and several times he would adjust it to fry their internal organs in various ways that he considered amusing. He also used it to help along any fires set by the Israelites.

Then they brought the captives and the plunder to Moses, and the priest Eleazar, and to the assembly of the Israelites, to the camp at the plains of Moab, by the Jordan at Jericho. And Moses and the priest Eleazar, and all the rulers of the assembly, went out to meet them outside the camp.

Moses was angry with the officers of the army, the captains over thousands, and hundreds, who came from the battle.

And Moses said to them, "Have you saved all the women alive? Look, these women caused the sons of Israel, through the word of Balaam, to stir up treachery against Yahweh at Peor, so that the plague struck the assembly. Therefore, kill every male among the children, and kill every woman who has had relations with a man. But keep for yourselves all the girls who have not known a man by lying with him."

So now Moses has pretty well degenerated to the standards of the most fanatical Yahweh devotees, and is happy to order butchering or rape of women and children. He is about to get his comeuppance for being a gullible fool, and any sympathy for Moses would be misplaced.

Moses continued by ordering the fighters to remain outside the camp for seven days, and if they had killed any person or touched anyone killed they had to purify themselves on the third day, along with garments, skins, and anything made with wood.

The priest Eleazar told the fighters that only the gold, silver, brass, iron, tin and lead, everything that goes through the fire, they had to make it pass through the fire to clean it. Even so, it had to be purified with the water of purification, and everything that could not be purified with fire had to be washed with water. On the seventh day they had to wash their clothes, then they would be clean and could come into the camp.

Then Yahweh commanded Moses that he and Eleazar, and the chief fathers of the assembly, must take the number of the plunder that were captured, of man and animal. They had to divide the plunder into two parts, between those who took part in the war, and between all the assembly, and levy a tax to Yahweh on the men of war who went out to war, one of every 500 of the people, of the men, the oxen, and the donkeys and the sheep. From the fighters' half it would be given to the priest Eleazar for a heave offering of Yahweh.

And of the Israelites' half, they must take one in 50 of everything, and give it to the Levites, who carry out the service of the Tabernacle of Yahweh.

So Moses and Eleazar did as their god commanded Moses. And the plunder remaining from the spoils the soldiers had taken was:

675,000 sheep, 72,000 oxen, 61,000 donkeys, and 32,000 women who were virgins.

This was the half portion for those who had gone to war:

337,500 sheep, including a 0.2% tribute to Yahweh of 675,
36,000 oxen, including a 0.2% tribute to Yahweh of 72,
30,500 donkeys, including a 0.2% tribute to Yahweh of 61,
and 16,000 women, including a 0.2% tribute to Yahweh of 32.

Moses gave the tribute to Eleazar the priest as Yahweh's heave offering, as Yahweh had commanded Moses.

And the other half for the Israelites amounted to:

337,500 sheep, including the Levites' 2% portion of 6,750,
36,000 oxen, including the Levites' 2% portion of 720,
30,500 donkeys, including the Levites' 2% portion of 610,
and 16,000 women, including the Levites' 2% portion of 320.

So from the Israelites' half Moses took one in 50, of human and animal, and gave it to the Levites.

Now Yahweh is getting a taste for human blood; he gets to have 32 virgins sacrificed and burnt on his altar before him, along with 808 animals including 675 of his staple diet of sheep, in addition to all of his daily weekly, monthly and yearly sacrifices.

With Moses' support of human sacrifice by fire to appease his 'god' who is about to kill him, he has decayed from a one-time racist vigilante killer into one of the most depraved monsters over millennia of human history. Like a Stockholm Syndrome patient, whose captor has announced he will shortly kill him, and yet the captive still cheerfully burns his own mother to death, Moses has not even an electron of moral fiber remaining.

And the officers who were over thousands of the division, the captains of thousands and of hundreds, approached Moses.

And they said to Moses that they had counted the soldiers under their command, and not one of them was missing. So they had brought to Yahweh an offering of the gold articles each man acquired, of ornaments of gold, chains, bracelets, rings, earrings, and necklaces, to make atonement for themselves before Yahweh.

And Moses and the priest Eleazar took the gold from them, all handcrafted jewels. And all of this gold plunder that the men of war had taken, every man for himself, all of the gold heave offering to Yahweh was 16,750 shekels. So Moses and Eleazar took the gold from the officers and brought it into the Tent of Meeting, a memorial for the Israelites before Yahweh.

This was about 193kg of gold, so if all melted down and formed into a cube, the volume would be about 10,000 cm3, and each side 21.5cm in length.

Now the Reubenites and the Gadites had very large herds of cattle, and when they surveyed the land of Jazer and the land of Gilead, and saw that it was a good place for cattle, they came and spoke to Moses, Eleazar and the rulers of the assembly, saying that Ataroth, Dibon, Jazer, Nimrah, Heshbon, Elealeh, Sebam, Nebo, and Beon, which Yahweh conquered before the assembly of Israel, were suitable for livestock, and they had livestock.

And Moses went off on a rant about why should their brothers go off to war whilst they sat over there, and why should they discourage the Israelites from going into the land that Yahweh had given them. He said their fathers did the same when he sent them from Kadesh Barnea to see the land at the Valley of Eshcol, and they discouraged the Israelites from going into the land, which made Yahweh's anger glow. And then Yahweh swore that surely none of the men who came up out of Egypt, from 20 years old and up, would see the land he promised to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, because they had not followed him, except for Caleb and Joshua, who had wholly followed Yahweh. And the anger of Yahweh glowed against Israel, and he made them wander in the desert for forty years, until all the generation who had committed evil in the sight of Yahweh was consumed.

Then the Reubenites and the Gadites proposed that they would build sheepfolds there for their cattle, and cities for their children and wives. But they would go armed before the Israelites until they had arrived at their place, and their little ones would live in fortified cities in the meantime. They would not return to their homes until the Israelites had taken possession of their inheritance. And the Reubenites and Gadites would not receive an inheritance with them on the other side of the Jordan, since their inheritance would fall to them eastwards on this side of the Jordan.

Moses agreed that if they did all that, and went armed over the Jordan until the enemies were all driven out and the land subdued, then they would be guiltless before Yahweh and the rest of the Israelites, and the land east of the Jordan would be their possession before Yahweh. But if they failed to do that, then they would have sinned before Yahweh, and their sin would find them out.

The sons of Reuben and Gad said that they would do that, and they would go to battle as agreed whilst their wives, children, sheep and cattle would be in the fortified cities of Gilead.

After giving commands concerning this to Eleazar, Joshua, and the rulers of the Israelite tribes, and irrationally saying that if they didn't pass over the Jordan to fight with the Israelites their inheritance would be in the land of Canaan, Moses gave to the sons of Gad, the sons of Reuben, and to half the tribe of Manasseh, the kingdom of Sihon, king of the Amorites, and the kingdom of Og, king of Bashon, the land, with its cities in the borders, the cities of the surrounding country.

And the sons of Gad built Dibon, and Ataroth, and Aroer, and Atroth-Shophan, and Jaazer, and Jogbehah, and Beth-nimrah, and Beth-haran, as fortified cities, and folds for sheep.

And the sons of Reuben built Heshbon, Elealeh, Kirjathaim, and Nebo and Baal-meon (whose names were changed), and Shibmah. And they renamed the cities they rebuilt.

And the sons of Machir, the son of Manasseh, went to Gilead, captured it, and drove out the Amorites who were there. So Moses gave Gilead to the clan of Machir, and they settled there.

Jair, a son of Manasseh, went and captured their villages and called them the Tent Villages of Jair. And Nobah went and took Kenath and its villages, and called it Nobah, after his own name.

Now altogether there were 41 journeys of the Israelites after they came out of Egypt, for Moses recorded their starting point as commanded by Yahweh.

On the fifteenth day of the first month, on the day after the Passover, the Israelites set out from Rameses. They marched out defiantly in full view of all the Egyptians, who were burying all their firstborn, whom Yahweh had struck down among them. The Israelites set out from Rameses and camped at Succoth.

They set out from Succoth and camped at Etham, on the edge of the wilderness.

They set out from Etham and turned back to Pi-hahiroth, opposite Baal-zephon, and they camped near Migdol.

They set out from Pi-hahiroth and crossed through the sea, into the wilderness, and they journeyed three days into the Wilderness of Etham and camped at Marah.

They set out from Marah and came to Elim, where there were twelve springs and seventy palm trees, and they camped there.

They set out from Elim and camped by the Red Sea.

They set out from the Wilderness of Sin and camped at Dophkah.

They set out from Dophkah and camped at Alush.

They set out from Alush and camped at Rephidim, where there was no water for the people to drink.

They set out from Rephidim and camped in the Wilderness of Sinai.

They set out from Jotbathah and camped at Abronah.

They set out from Abronah and camped at Ezion-geber.

They set out from Ezion-geber and camped at Kadesh in the Wilderness of Zin.

They set out from Kadesh and camped at Mount Hor, on the outskirts of the land of Edom. At Yahweh's command, Aaron the priest climbed Mount Hor and died there on the first day of the fifth month, in the fortieth year after the Israelites had come out of the land of Egypt. Aaron was supposedly 123 years old when he died on Mount Hor.

Now the Canaanite king of Arad, who lived in the Negev in the land of Canaan, heard that the Israelites were coming. And the Israelites set out from Mount Hor and camped at Zalmonah.

They set out from Zalmonah and camped at Punon.

They set out from Punon and camped at Oboth.

They set out from Oboth and camped at Ije-abarim on the border of Moab.

They set out from Ije-abarim and camped at Dibon-gad.

They set out from Dibon-gad and camped at Almon-diblathaim.

They set out from Almon-diblathaim and camped in the mountains of Abarim facing Nebo.

They set out from the mountains of Abarim and camped on the plains of Moab by the Jordan across from Jericho.

And there on the plains of Moab they camped by the Jordan, from Beth-jeshimoth to Abel-shittim.

Then Yahweh spoke to Moses on the plains of Moab, by the Jordan at Jericho, ordering him to speak to the Israelites and say, "When you have passed over the Jordan into the land of Canaan, then you shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, and you shall destroy all their carved images, and destroy all their molten images, and demolish all their high places, and you shall dispossess the land and live in it, for I have given you the land to possess. And you shall divide the land by lot for an inheritance among your families. To the larger group you shall give the larger inheritance, and to the smaller group you shall give the smaller inheritance - every man's shall be in the place where his lot falls. You shall have an inheritance by the tribes of your fathers.

"But if you do not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you, then it shall come to pass that those whom you let remain will be irritants in your eyes, and thorns in your sides, and they will vex you in the land in which you live. In addition, it will come to pass that I will do to you as I thought to do to them."

Yahweh's whole strategy has been rather like someone who sells a book "How to Own Your Own Country". First the buyer discovers that they must have themselves and their children mutilated, then they have to comply with crackpot 'laws', then they must surrender more than a ton of gold, more than 3 tons of silver, more than 2 tons of bronze, and build a Tabernacle, to worship the author. Then they have to conduct animal and even human sacrifices, all in accordance with the officially approved formal procedures, to satisfy the author's cravings.

Eventually it turns out that the hapless purchaser must enter the country and drive out all the inhabitants of the land - just the same as anyone else would have had to do if they hadn't bought the book and mutilated themselves and their children, and performed all of the other directives to appease their tormentor. And if they don't drive out all of the inhabitants, they will be an irritant and a thorn in their sides, and would continue to vex them.

And Yahweh knew that they would certainly not drive out all of the inhabitants, even if they did manage to defeat a fair proportion of them.

Yahweh has outplayed them masterfully, absolving himself from any responsibility for his retarded worshipers, and in the years ahead he can adjust his ratio of attacking the Israelites' enemies or attacking rebel Israelites just according to how he feels.

The whole purpose of the exercise was to create this rootless band of wandering parasites, who would be a tiny minority of humanity, but enough to be an irritant in their eyes and a thorn in their sides, who would vex the natives of any land where they ever tried to settle until they were ultimately expelled, but the process would keep playing out again and again, sowing death, destruction and misery, and stifling the progress of humanity, until such time as they were safely contained and confined within an area of the Earth's land commensurate with their number, just as anything damaging and dangerous such as the smallpox virus would inevitably need to be contained.

Yahweh supporters had won a few battles with the aid of their Elohim, and would gain enormous financial and political power through their chicanery, but they would lose the war. They would be universally despised, they would be freaks, parasites and a set apart people, and would even be forced to have laws passed that made it illegal to hate them. Imagine a people so horrible that they need to make it illegal to hate them...

And they would be forced to exploit their mass media monopoly to brainwash and gaslight the unsuspecting, ill-informed masses, in a Plato's cave-style operation, into subscribing to an inverted, alternative 'reality', in which Yahweh supporters were somehow always the 'victims', and all of their crimes and atrocities were projected onto their opponents. So in this fake, alternate 'reality', opponents of Yahweh-sponsored terrorism, genocide and hatred became "terrorists", "mass murderers", "racists", "haters", and even "human animals".

The problem for Yahweh worshipers is that their grip on the flow of information could not be sustained indefinitely. Eventually the whole facade would come crumbling down, like a house of cards in a breeze, as the awakening extended to more and more people.

If they had never deviated from the path of normal people, none of this would have been necessary, and humanity would be on its way to becoming a Type II civilization.

Then Yahweh told Moses to speak to the Israelites and tell them where the borders would be when they came into the land of Canaan for their inheritance.

The southern border would be from the Wilderness of Zin along by the border with Edom, and then it would extend eastwards towards the end of the Salt Sea. Then it would run from the south to the ascent of Akrabbim, and pass on to Zin, and go south of Kadesh-barnea. Then it would go on to Hazar-addar and proceed to Azmon, where it would turn to join the Nile of Egypt, and end at the sea.

The western border would be the coastline of the Great Sea; this would be their boundary on the west.

Their northern border would run from the Great Sea directly to Mount Hor, and from Mount Hor to the entrance of Hamath, then extend to Zedad, continue to Ziphron, and end at Hazar-enan. This would be their boundary on the north.

And their eastern border would run straight from Hazar-enan to Shepham, then go down from Shepham to Riblah on the east side of Ain, and continue along the slopes east of the Sea of Chinnereth. Then the border would go down along the Jordan and end at the Salt Sea.

So Moses commanded the Israelites to apportion the land by lot as an inheritance. Yahweh had commanded that it be given to the nine-and-a-half tribes. For the tribes of the Reubenites and Gadites, along with the half-tribe of Manasseh, had already received their inheritance. These two-and-a-half tribes had received their inheritance across the Jordan from Jericho eastwards, toward the sunrise.

Then Yahweh told Moses the names of the leaders of the nine-and-a-half tribes who would apportion the inheritance in the land of Canaan. They were:

Caleb, son of Jephunneh, from the tribe of Judah;

Shemuel, son of Ammihud, from the tribe of Simeon;

Elidad, son of Chislon, from the tribe of Benjamin;

Bukki, son of Jogli, a leader from the tribe of Dan;

Hanniel, son of Ephod, a leader from the tribe of Manasseh, son of Joseph;

Kemuel, son of Shiphtan, a leader from the tribe of Ephraim;

Elizaphan, son of Parnach, a leader from the tribe of Zebulun;

Paltiel, son of Azzan, a leader from the tribe of Issachar;

Ahihud, son of Shelomi, a leader from the tribe of Asher;

and Pedahel, son of Ammihud, a leader from the tribe of Naphtali.

Then Yahweh commanded Moses to order the Israelites to give the Levites cities to live in out of their inheritance, and also pasture lands around those cities. In total the Levites would receive 48 cities, but 6 of these were to be cities of refuge for murderers. In a strange 'coincidence', 3,350 years later when Yahweh supporters would illegitimately declare ~6,000 square miles of the land of Canaan (before long to increase to ~8,000 square miles) as their ethnocentric, supremacist state, it would serve as a sanctuary for swindlers and perverts to flee to.

Yahweh told Moses that the refuge cities were for a murderer to flee the avenger, so that they did not die before they stood before the assembly in judgment. These were supposed to be for those who had killed accidentally.

If the murderer had killed someone by striking them with an iron implement, or a hand weapon of wood, or by throwing a stone that was large enough to kill, then they were guilty of murder, and should surely be put to death, and the avenger should kill the murderer when they met him. If the killer pushed the victim out of hatred, or threw something with fixed eyes to kill him, or in hostile mind struck him with his hand so that he died, then he was guilty of murder, and the avenger should kill him when he met him.

But if the killer pushed him suddenly without hostile mind, or threw anything at him without fixed eyes, or threw a stone that killed while not looking, and was not his enemy nor looking for his harm, then the assembly should judge between the murderer and the avenger. And if the murderer went outside the city of refuge where he had fled, and the avenger found him and killed him, then the avenger would not be guilty because the killer should have remained in the refuge city.

There was then some discussion regarding the inheritance of Zelophehad passing on to his daughters. Now Mahlah, Tirzah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Noah, the daughters of Zelophehad, were married to cousins on their father's side. They married within the tribe of the descendants of Manasseh, son of Joseph, and their inheritance remained within the tribe of Manasseh. However, if they had married into another tribe, the inheritance would be transferred over to the other tribe.
