After this the sons of Israel were fruitful, and they multiplied and grew exceedingly numerous throughout the land.
But then a new king of Egypt arose who had not met Joseph, and he allegedly said to his people that the people of the sons of Israel were more numerous and mightier than them, and quite sensibly, suggested that they deal shrewdly with them in case they became even more numerous and powerful, and then they might join with Egypt's enemies if a war broke out.
Now this was later than 2000 BC and the population of Egypt is reckoned to have been more than a million by then. It's not credible that the sons of Israel could have gone from around 70 to more than a million by the time the next pharaoh took the throne. Many of them only ruled for two or three years. However, there must have been some resentment of how these Hebrews had got the best of the land and had got relatively wealthy and powerful, and it was decided that it was time these outsiders were put in their place.
And so slave masters were appointed to afflict the sons of Israel with burdens, such as being ordered to build storage cities for Pharaoh - Pithom and Raamses. The slave masters were increasingly harsh, and the sons of Israel were forced to labor in bricks and mortar and to do all kinds of work in the fields. But the sons of Israel were still numerous.
The king of Egypt spoke to the Hebrew midwives Shiphrah and Puah, and told them that when they helped the Hebrew women give birth they should observe the sex of the baby, and if it was a son, then kill him, but if it was a daughter, then let her live.
However, the midwives did not do this since they feared Elohim, and so they let the sons live.
When the king summoned the midwives and asked them why they were not killing the sons, they told him a story about the Hebrew women being vigorous and delivering the sons before the midwives arrived.
Then Pharaoh ordered his people that every son who was born must be thrown in the river, but every daughter would be allowed to live.
Then a man of the house of Levi took a daughter of Levi, and the woman conceived and had a son. When she saw his fine appearance she hid him for three months, and when it became impossible to hide him she took an ark of bulrushes for him and daubed it with bitumen and pitch and put the child in it, and hid it in the rushes on the river bank. His sister waited at a distance to see what would happen to him.
The daughter of Pharaoh came down to bathe in the river, and her maidservants walked along the bank. When she saw the ark among the rushes she sent her maidservant to fetch it.
When she opened it she saw a baby crying, and had compassion for it and said that this was one of the sons of the Hebrews. And then the father's sister said to Pharaoh's daughter, "Shall I go to get you a nurse from the Hebrew women, so she can nurse the child for you?"
And Pharaoh's daughter said, "Go". So the girl went to call the child's mother, and Pharaoh's daughter told her to take the child away and nurse him for her, and she would give her wages.
The woman took the child and nursed it, and when the child grew she brought him to Pharaoh's daughter and he became her son, and she called him Moses.
Now when Moses had grown up he would go out to his brothers and look with sorrow on their burdens. And one day he saw an Egyptian man striking a Hebrew man, one of his own people. He looked around him, and not seeing anyone else, he attacked and killed the Egyptian, and buried his body in the sand.
When Moses went out the second day he saw two Hebrew men fighting, and he said to the one in the wrong, "Why are you attacking your companion?"
Then he replied, "Who appointed you as a man, ruler and judge over us? Do you intend to kill me, as you killed the Egyptian?"
Then Moses was afraid, as he thought his act had become known.
When Pharaoh heard about Moses killing the Egyptian, he was looking to kill Moses, but Moses fled and lived in the land of Midian.
One day Moses sat down by a well. The priest of Midian had seven daughters and they came and drew water and filled the troughs to water their father's sheep. Shepherds came and drove them away, but Moses stood up and helped the daughters and watered their sheep. Then when they got back to Reuel their father he asked them how they had got back so soon. They said an Egyptian had delivered them out of the hands of the shepherds, and he watered their sheep.
Then he asked them where the man was, and told them to call the man so he could eat with them. And Moses was pleased to live with the man, who gave him his daughter Zipporah. And she gave birth to a son, whom they called Gershom.
Now this didn't need any of Yahweh's black sorcery to make it happen, although Moses was lucky that the daughter was given away so cheaply. There was no need to toil for 14 years, as per Jacob.
Eventually the king of Egypt died, and then the sons of Israel groaned under their bondage and called out to their Elohim. It is suggested that Yahweh only became aware of their oppression at that time, then remembered his covenant with Abraham and his sons, and turned his attention to them. This would be rather odd for an omniscient, omnipotent, supernatural being. But we can be sure that Yahweh was monitoring the situation with his 'locust' drones throughout the years, awaiting any opportunity to drive his agenda forward, and planning his next steps. In particular, he was working to tighten his grip over this superstitious group of people, whose leaders were so naive and foolish that they thought genital mutilation of baby boys would somehow bring them good luck.
Moses was keeping the sheep of Jethro, his father-in-law. Moses led the flock to the edge of the desert and came to the mountain of Elohim, to Horeb. Then the 'angel' of Yahweh appeared to him in a flame of fire out of the middle of a thorn bush, and he looked, and the thorn bush was not consumed.
Now Yahweh, or his robot, would not have needed much hi-tech for this trick. It was basically a large candle that the robot had set up in a bare patch in the middle of the bush and ignited in advance, when Yahweh's drones saw that Moses was on his way there. Given that Moses could have taken different routes that Yahweh would not know in advance, a few of these candles had been pre-placed, with the particular one ignited by remote control as Moses approached it.
For longer interactions, such as performing magic tricks and responding to the worshiper's own replies, Yahweh would have appeared in person. He could have deployed active shielding, so that his internal charge did not kill the human, or he could have held back and sent out orbs that would assemble into his avatar for the meeting. As it turns out, in this case Yahweh did go to meet Moses personally.
Of course, Yahweh was silicon chip-based rather than a carbon-based lifeform, which was conducive with the sheer hatred for carbon-based life that we would see emanating from Yahweh's little band of not-so-merry men, or useful idiots, in the 21st century AD, with their stated goals for "net zero" carbon and fifteen-minute cities, their multi-'vaccine' programs of injections with toxins such as mercury, aluminum and lipid nanoparticles, destruction of food supply chains over hoaxes such as "bird flu", pushing of multiple 'genders', and other brands of anti-human idiocy.
And Yahweh's brain did not need to be massive, since his memories still only amounted to less than 2,000 years; it was not as if he'd already lived for billions of years. Thus, in contrast to some of the shorter interactions in which Yahweh would merely send a robot or 'angel' along for a brief chat, a longer conversation about a plan to bring the sons of Israel out of Egypt would involve Yahweh personally, with his silicon brain in his humanoid 'robot' body.
When Yahweh saw that Moses had turned to look at the 'burning' bush that did not burn, he called out, "Moses, Moses!"
Moses said, "Here I am."
Yahweh told him not to come any closer, and to take off his sandals, for he was standing on holy ground. Yahweh had little experience of testing his active shielding in close encounters with humans, and given Moses' important role in his plans, he wanted to play it safe and ensure that Moses ground himself before any static charge built up that would shock him when he touched the ground.
Yahweh told Moses that he was the Elohim of his grandfathers, of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Moses was afraid to look at Elohim, and he hid his face.
Yahweh said he had seen the affliction of his people in Egypt, and heard them crying out under their oppression, and he knew of their sorrows, and he had come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians and to a good, large land flowing with milk and honey. This would be the place of the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Amorite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite. And so Yahweh would send Moses to Pharaoh so that Moses could bring Yahweh's people, the sons of Israel, out of Egypt.
Moses asked, "Who am I, that I should go to Pharaoh, and that I should bring the sons of Israel out of Egypt?"
Yahweh said he would certainly be with Moses, and when he had brought the people out of Egypt, they would worship Elohim on that same mountain.
Moses asked if he went to the people and said Elohim of your fathers has sent me, and they asked what was his name, what should he tell them.
Yahweh said, "Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh (I will be what I will be). You shall say this to the sons of Israel: 'Ehyeh (I will be).' "
Now this was the very sort of answer to be expected from a con artist about to plug his spiel. And then Yahweh continued:
"You shall say this to the sons of Israel: 'Yahweh Elohim of your fathers, Elohim of Abraham, Elohim of Isaac, and Elohim of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is My name throughout the eon, and this is My name by which I am to be remembered from generation to generation.' "
"Go and gather the elders of Israel together, and say to them, 'Yahweh Elohim of your fathers, the Elohim of Abraham, of Isaac and of Jacob, appeared to me, saying, "I have surely visited you and seen what has been done to you in Egypt", and I have said, "I will surely bring you out of the affliction of Egypt to the land of the Canaanite, and the Hittite, and the Amorite, and the Perrizite, and the Hivite, and the Jebusite, to a land flowing with milk and honey." '
"And they will listen to your voice, and you will go, you and the elders of Israel, to the king of Egypt, and you shall say to him, 'Yahweh Elohim of the Hebrews has met with me. And now, let us go, we implore you, three days' journey into the wilderness, so that we can make a sacrifice to Yahweh Elohim.'
"And I know that the king of Egypt will not let you go, no, not even by a mighty hand. And I will stretch out My hand and strike Egypt with all My wonders that I will perform among them, and after that he will let you go.
"And I will give this people favor in the sight of the Egyptians. And it will come to pass that, when you go, you will not go empty-handed, but every woman will ask her neighbor and she who stays in her house for jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and clothing, and you will put them on your sons, and on your daughters, and you will plunder the Egyptians.
That was a long speech by Yahweh. But this is supposed to be a 'god', the very epitome of virtue and morality, and he is proposing a scheme to plunder one group of people to benefit another, because one group was allegedly oppressed. Their first clue should have been the fact that this so-called 'god' had commanded them to genitally mutilate their baby boys, which should have been a bit of a giveaway hint for anyone of normal intelligence. Has this 'god' never heard of a positive-sum game?
Moses had his doubts about Yahweh's scheme, and he asked, "But suppose they will not believe me, nor listen to me, and they say, 'Yahweh has not appeared to you?' "
And Yahweh said to him, "What is that in your hand?"
And he said, "A staff."
And Yahweh said, "Throw it on the ground."
And he threw it on the ground, and it became a snake, and Moses recoiled from it.
And Yahweh said to Moses, "Put out your hand and take it by the tail."
And he put out his hand and stiffened it, and it became a staff in his hand.
This was a pretty straightforward trick by Yahweh. Clearly, the staff never became a snake, but for twenty or thirty seconds Yahweh switched on a hologram projection of a snake where the staff was lying on the ground.
And Yahweh said, "This is so that they might believe that Yahweh Elohim of their father, the Elohim of Abraham, the Elohim of Isaac, and the Elohim of Jacob, has appeared to you."
And Yahweh also said to him, "Now put your hand into your cloak."
And he put his hand into his cloak, and when he took it out, his hand was looking leprous like snow.
And Yahweh told him to put his hand back into his cloak.
So he put his hand back into his cloak, and when he took it out, it was restored back to his flesh.
This was a smaller holographic display, although Yahweh had to be a bit more accurate with his timing and positioning compared to the snake trick. In fact, it was the part when Moses was taking the 'snake' by the tail, so that for a brief moment his hand was covered by the hologram - yet Moses wouldn't have noticed, on account of being too worried about the 'snake' possibly biting him - that inspired Yahweh to do this second trick with his projector aimed at Moses' hand.
Moses was of course completely unaware that Yahweh had a 1km radius saucer-shaped spacecraft with a central spherical fuel tank, just as he did not know that it came with 140 saucer-shaped drones of radius 20m that had been included as part of Yahweh's package. And he was oblivious to the particular 20m drone that was hovering above him at the time, which had been fitted with some interesting features. It was camouflaged by noise cancellation and images of clouds and sky.
This particular drone was multi-purpose - it had been used along with 129 of the others when Yahweh was dispersing chalk dust to block sunlight and create a famine. But it had openings and fittings for a hologram projector, a parametric speaker, and a more powerful, upgraded directed energy weapon that ran from D/He3 fusion fuel rather than supercapacitors. These openings were covered by a waterproof floor, for operations when the drone was being used to move solids or liquids.
For its most convincing, larger displays, the hologram would use high-powered lasers to ionize nitrogen and oxygen in the air into plasma, creating visible, floating 3D images. If they wanted a lower power display that would not burn the human they would use phased-array lasers or light-field projectors using quantum dot arrays that emit light only in the visible range, minimizing wasted energy and heat.
For sound projection, parametric speakers would focus ultrasound into marrow beams and modulate it with the required audio frequency sound signal, so that the human could hear a sound or voice that appeared to be emanating from the hologram.
The direct energy beam could be used to kill up to thousands of people, or could be used in non-lethal modes such as modulating people's brainwaves, or merely causing pain and discomfort.
Yahweh then continued by saying that if the sons of Israel still didn't believe Moses after seeing those two tricks or "signs", he had another up his sleeve. He would have Moses take water from the river and pour it on the dry land, and it would become blood. Of course it would still be water, but Yahweh would direct a not inconsiderable quantity of red photons towards it for half a minute or so.
Moses protested that he was not a man of words, and was heavy of speech and tongue. Yahweh retorted by asking who it was who had made man's mouth, or who made the dumb, deaf and blind, and Yahweh would be with Moses and would teach him what to say.
Moses asked if someone else could be given the job of priest, which made Yahweh's anger burn against Moses.
Yahweh said, "Do I not know Aaron the Levite, your brother, who can speak well. And he is coming to meet you, and he will be glad to see you. And you will speak to him and put the words in his mouth, and I will be with his mouth and your mouth, and I will teach you what you must do. And he will be your spokesman to the people, and it will come to pass that he himself will be for you in the place of a mouth, and you will be for him in the place of Elohim. And you shall take this staff in your hand when you perform the sign."
In another three to four thousand years or so, it would come to pass that certain followers of Yahweh and their puppets would experience feelings rather similar to Yahweh's exasperation with Moses, for example when US presidents such as Obama or Biden were being asked to read a teleprompter. The demented Biden would actually say aloud, "Repeat the line", "End of quote", "Pause", and so on.
Moses returned to Jethro, and asked to be allowed to return to his brothers in Egypt, to see if they were still alive. Jethro told him to go in peace.
While still in Midian, Yahweh told Moses to return to Egypt, for all those who wanted him dead were already dead. Indeed, Yahweh had launched this particular operation after the death of the Pharaoh who knew of Moses' killing of the Egyptian.
Then Moses took his wife and his sons, and he put them on a donkey, and they set off back to Egypt, with Moses taking the "staff of Elohim" in his hand.
Yahweh said to Moses, "When you return to Egypt, see that you do these wonders before Pharaoh that I have put in your hand. But I will harden his heart, so he will not let the people go. And you shall say to Pharaoh, 'Yahweh has said, "Israel is My son, My firstborn, and I say to you, let My son go, so that he can serve Me. And if you refuse to let him go, mark this - I will kill your son, your firstborn." ' "
At this point Yahweh was threatening to kill Pharaoh's firstborn son if he did not get his way. It would be little time before this bloodthirsty, vicious, immature, narcissistic devil posing as a 'god', who saw his followers as the equivalent of his firstborn son, would contemplate killing the firstborn son of one of those followers that Yahweh was grooming to further his egregious agenda, and had recently been rather exasperated with.
When Moses and his family were on the way, at the encampment, Yahweh came along and met Moses' son Gershom, and wanted to kill him. Yahweh saw that Gershom was still "uncircumcised", i.e., not mutilated, and Yahweh was peeved that he hadn't got his way.
Now Yahweh redacted much of the conversation at this meeting from his scriptures, as it reflected badly on him, but the unredacted information tells us that Moses' wife Zipporah quickly took a sharp stone and cut off her son's foreskin, and made it touch "his" feet, "his" being Moses, since she describes him as her "bridegroom of blood".
Zipporah had resisted carrying out the barbaric practice on her son, and had pressed Moses to delay it for as long as possible, e.g. until Gershom took a wife. At this encounter with the ill-tempered devil Yahweh, it soon became apparent that Gershom's uncircumcised status was provoking Yahweh's anger, and so Zipporah saved her son's life, albeit by mutilating him. Then she dropped the foreskin onto Moses' foot, as if to say this is what your damned religion made me do.
And Yahweh told Aaron to go into the wilderness to meet Moses. And Aaron went and met Moses at the mountain of Elohim, and they embraced, and Moses told Aaron about everything Yahweh had told him, and about the signs or tricks that Moses was to perform.
Now it doesn't make sense that this was the same "mountain of Elohim" at Horeb, where Moses saw the 'burning' bush, or even Mount Sinai, sometimes known as Mount Horeb, about 9 or 10 days walking distance from Thebes or Luxor, since Moses was already on his way to Egypt. Horeb is a generic term for desert. After meeting Yahweh, Aaron had managed to escape out to a relatively local area of wilderness, a hill or mountain, to meet Moses and confer with him, and Yahweh was only too pleased to refer to this as "the mountain of Elohim".
Then Moses and Aaron went and gathered together all the elders of the sons of Israel. Aaron spoke all the words that Yahweh had spoken to Moses, and Moses performed the signs. Yahweh was watching from a distance, and providing his holographic support for the tricks.
And the people believed, and when they heard that Yahweh had visited the sons of Israel and had looked upon their affliction, they bowed their heads and worshipped.
Afterwards Moses and Aaron went in to Pharaoh and they said, "Yahweh Elohim of Israel says this: 'Let my people go, so that they can hold a feast for me in the wilderness'."
And Pharaoh said, "Who is Yahweh that I should obey his voice to let Israel go? I do not know Yahweh. Nor will I let Israel go."
And they said, "Elohim of the Hebrews has met with us. Let us go, we ask you, three days' journey into the desert, and sacrifice to Yahweh our Elohim, in case he falls on us with a plague or the sword."
But the king of Egypt said, "Why, Moses and Aaron, do you hinder the people from their work? Get yourselves back to your work." And he added, "Look, the people of the land are many, and you make them rest from their burdens."
That same day Pharaoh ordered the taskmasters and their foremen that the people must no longer be given chopped straw to make bricks as before. He said they must go and gather the straw themselves. However, the quota of bricks that they had to make, imposed on them, should remain the same as before. Nothing must be diminished, for they were idle, so that they called out saying, "Let us go and sacrifice to our Elohim". Pharaoh said, "Let there be heavier work laid on the men so that they can labor, and let them pay no regard to worthless words."
The taskmasters and their foremen went out and told the people of Pharaoh's new instructions, and so the people were scattered throughout Egypt to gather reeds instead of chopped straw.
The foremen of the sons of Israel, whom Pharaoh's taskmasters had set over them, were beaten, and asked why they had not fulfilled their tasks in making bricks as before.
Then the foremen of the sons of Israel went to Pharaoh to ask why they were being treated like that, and beaten, and told to make bricks without being given any straw.
Pharaoh said, "You are idle, idle, for you say, 'Allow us to go and make a sacrifice to Yahweh'. So go now and work, for no more straw will be given to you, but you must deliver the quota of bricks."
The foremen of the sons of Israel saw that they were in affliction, and they met Moses and Aaron, who were standing to meet them as they came away from Pharaoh. The foremen said, "Let Yahweh look on you and judge, for you have made our odor stink before Pharaoh and his officials, as if to put a sword in their hands to kill us."
Moses went back to Yahweh, so Yahweh was watching closely and getting ready for a meeting with Moses when he was alone. Moses said, "Adonai, why have you allowed this people to be treated with evil? Why is it you have sent me? For since I came to Pharaoh to speak in your name, he has brought evil to the people. Nor have you delivered your people at all."
Yahweh told Moses that now he was going to see what Yahweh would do to Pharaoh. Yahweh said to Moses that he was Yahweh, but he had appeared to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob as El Shaddai, and was not known to them by his name Yahweh. This was in fact a lie, but those who spin such a web of lies will have difficulty in getting their stories straight. A devil can hardly be expected to tell the truth.
Yahweh said he had established his covenant with them to give them the land of Canaan, and he had also heard the groaning of the sons of Israel whom the Egyptians were keeping in bondage, and he had remembered his covenant.
And Yahweh told Moses to tell the sons of Israel that he had said, "I am Yahweh, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will deliver you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and mighty judgments, and I will take you to Myself for a people, and I will be to you Elohim, and you will know that I am Yahweh your Elohim Who is bringing you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians."
"And I will bring you into the land that I raised My hand to give to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob. And I will give it to you as an inheritance. I am Yahweh."
As would become apparent over thousands of years, the land was not Yahweh's to give away to anyone. It belonged to the natives who had settled there, and allowing outsiders to move in and take the land, on the basis of a claim that their 'god' had promised it to them, could only ever end in tears and calamity.
And Moses went and spoke to the sons of Israel, but they did not listen to Moses because of shortness of spirit and cruel oppression.
Then Yahweh told Moses to tell Pharaoh, king of Egypt, to let the sons of Israel go out of his land.
Moses, understandably, was quite skeptical that this could achieve anything useful, and he said to Yahweh that the sons of Israel had not listened to him, and how then, would Pharaoh hear him, since he was of impeded speech.
Then Yahweh spoke to Moses and to Aaron, and gave them a command regarding the sons of Israel, and for Pharaoh, to bring the sons of Israel out of Egypt.
Now Moses and Aaron's genealogy is said to derive via Israel's son Levi. One of Levi's sons, Kohave, had several sons including Amram. And Amran took Jochebed, his father's sister, for a wife, and she bore him Moses and Aaron. Moses had already been borne the son Gershom from Zipporah. Aaron took Elisheba for a wife, and she bore him Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
Readers will recall that Yahweh had already threatened to kill Moses' son Gershom when Yahweh had got enraged about failing to get his way in having Gershom mutilated. Yahweh's wickedness - or sheer incompetence - would subsequently be exposed concerning the fate of two of Aaron's sons.
Now on the day that Yahweh spoke to Moses and Aaron about how to deal with Pharaoh, Yahweh told Moses to speak to Pharaoh, king of Egypt, everything that he would tell him.
Moses said to Yahweh, "See now, I am of impeded speech, so how will Pharaoh listen to me?"
Yahweh told Moses that he would make him as a judge to Pharaoh, and Aaron would be his prophet. Moses would just have to speak everything that Yahweh commanded, and Aaron should speak to Pharaoh that he should send the sons of Israel out of his land. And Yahweh would harden Pharaoh's heart, and multiply Yahweh's signs and wonders in the land of Egypt.
Yahweh added that Pharaoh would not listen to them, and so Yahweh would bring his people out of Egypt by mighty judgments. The Egyptians would know that he was Yahweh when he stretched out his hand over Egypt and brought out the sons of Israel from amongst them.
Yahweh told Moses and Aaron that when Pharaoh spoke to them saying, "Show a sign for yourself", then Moses should say to Aaron, "Take your staff and throw it in front of Pharaoh". It would turn into a snake.
And Moses and Aaron went in to Pharaoh, and they did as Yahweh had commanded. Aaron threw down his staff in front of Pharaoh and in front of his servants, and it became a snake.
Then Pharaoh called for his wise men, enchanters, and magicians of Egypt, and they also performed the same thing with their secret arts. Each man threw down his staff and it became a snake, but Aaron's staff swallowed up their staffs. These displays were done in the courtyard, with Yahweh's drone invisibly above them.
As Yahweh had said, Pharaoh's heart was hardened, and he did not listen to them.
Of course, Yahweh had plenty more tricks up his sleeve, and so his hologram projector was also employed for the magicians' staffs, although since Yahweh was the only entity employing advanced technology at the palace at this time, he added the little touch about Aaron's 'snake' swallowing up the others. Yahweh didn't want Pharaoh to concede at this point.
Next Yahweh told Moses to station himself by the riverbank in the morning until Pharaoh went out to the water, and to take in his hand the staff that 'turned into a snake'. Then Moses should say that Yahweh Elohim of the Hebrews had sent him to Pharaoh saying let his people go so that they might serve him in the wilderness. But so far Pharaoh had not listened. And now Yahweh was saying that this next demonstration will show itself as the work of Yahweh.
And then Moses should tell Pharaoh that he was about to strike the waters of the river with his staff, and then the waters would be turned to blood, and the fish in the river would die, the river would stink, and the Egyptians would be unable to drink from the water of the river.
Then Yahweh told Moses to tell Aaron to take his staff and stretch out his hand over all the waters of Egypt, such as canals, rivers, lakes, and reservoirs, so that they became blood, even in wooden and in stone containers.
And so Moses and Aaron did as Yahweh had commanded, and he raised the staff and struck the water in the sight of Pharaoh, and in the sight of his servants, and the waters in the river were supposedly turned to blood. Then the fish in the river died, the river stank, and the Egyptians could not drink from the water of the river, and there was blood throughout the land of Egypt.
Now the initial part of this trick involved Yahweh's hologram projector. When Moses struck the water with his staff, Yahweh projected an image of a red liquid at that point, and it was gradually extended to cover the stretch of the river visible to Pharaoh, his servants, and Moses and Aaron.
Over the preceding decades, Yahweh's monitoring of events over the lands of Canaan and Egypt had shown some lakes - and even the Red Sea, the name is quite a giveaway! - to have experienced red tides or blooms of algae, such as dinoflagellates. His data also showed that such blooms could kill fish, emit foul odors, and make humans sick. His robots had been gathering up and studying these organisms to determine how Yahweh might exploit them.
At the time when Moses happened to drive the sheep of Jethro to the "mountain of Elohim" at Horeb, Yahweh had noticed a red tide of algae in the Red Sea and this is when Yahweh was inspired to initiate his plan of a burning 'bush', the provoking of Pharaoh into harsher oppression, and staging a series of plagues.
Yahweh's drones could fly hundreds of kilometers in a day when in airplane mode using the wings, with electric fans to propel them forwards. And aided by his robots, cargo could be gathered to take from one location to another. Of course, such flying would generally be done at night, so that any observers who saw the flying craft would be so few in number that they could be dismissed as lunatics. Any unfortunates who perchance happened upon the landed craft could be summarily executed, and made to look as if a wild animal had ravaged them, in order to prevent unwanted attention.
Over the months leading up to Yahweh's "striking" of the river Nile, his 130 "workhorse" drones were heavily involved in flying between the Nile at a point upstream of Thebes and the western shore of the Red Sea, 200km to the east. There was a bend where the river had separated into two channels. The outside channel, on the western side, was about 5km long by an average of 450m wide by 10m deep. Yahweh's robots built a dam, first on the upstream part. The river was diverted so that it all flowed through the eastern section.
There was 8m of remaining depth as the robots built a dam on the downstream section of the western channel. It was in this blocked off, now stagnant, section, where the drones would be dumping their load of red tide seawater, from the Red Sea, over a five-month period, during which the algae would grow and flourish here.
For reference, here are the formulas introduced previously, which allow us to see how far the drones could fly per day on energy from solar power, stored in their supercapacitors. In this operation, the drones were only ascending to 400m to clear hills along the route, so the gravitational potential was small compared to the work done in opposing the drag forces. And we take the value for 400m altitude of air density of 1.1787 kg/m3. If the air density reduces, the optimum cruising speed increases, but the total drag for that optimum velocity is unchanged.
The induced drag is given by:
Dinduced = 2(mg)2 / (ρπb2v2)
...where m is the total mass with payload in kg, g is the gravitational force of 9.8 N/kg (at Thebes' latitude) acting on the mass, ρ is the air density in kg/m3 at the particular altitude, b is the wingspan of 120m, and v is the true airspeed (m/s). (It is sometimes written with v being the Equivalent airspeed, EAS, but then ρ has to change to ρ0, the standard value at sea level.)
The parasitic drag is given by:
Dparasitic = ½ρCdAv2, where:
ρ is the air density at the given altitude, Cd is the drag coefficient which we take as 0.7 for this convex shape, v is the velocity in m/s, and A is the frontal cross-section, which we take as 1m x 40m for the drone body and the same for each wing, a total of 120 m2.
To find the optimal velocity, the induced drag is set equal to parasitic drag and then solved for v, as below:
v = (4(mg)2 / (ρ2πb2CdA))1/4
The distance to be transported, from the western shore of the Red Sea to the River Nile, was 200km. Based on the supercapacitors' 18.8 GJ of storage, the 130 "workhorse" drones could each fly unladen for ~400km, or fly with a 50-tonne load for ~200km, or fly with 100 tonnes for ~135km.
They could easily fly with 50 tonnes one day and fly back unladen the next day, which is 25 tonnes per day per drone. Or they could take 50 tonnes on day one, return 200km unladen and carry 50 tonnes 100km on day two, then carry the payload the final 100km on day three and fly back unladen to the starting point, which is 33.33 tonnes daily per drone. If they increased the payload to 100 tonnes, they could take it 135km on day one, then take it the remaining 65 km and fly back unladen to the starting point on day two, which is 50 tonnes per day per drone. And so the 100-tonne payload option was chosen.
With the 100-tonne payload the total mass is 153 tonnes, and the optimal velocity, where induced drag equals parasitic drag and the total drag force is at a minimum for the particular load, is 36.126 m/s (at 400m altitude and ρ = 1.1787 kg/m3). The induced drag and the parasitic drag are both 64,610N, and so the total drag is 129,220N.
With no payload and a total mass of 53 tonnes, the optimal velocity is 21.263 m/s, the induced drag and parasitic drag are equal, and the total drag is 44,762N.
Day one has 100 tonnes taken 135km, at 400m altitude. The work done in opposing the drag forces is 129,220N x 135,000m = ~17.44 GJ. The gravitational potential is 153,000 kg x 9.8 N/kg x 400m = ~600 MJ. Thus, the daily total is ~18.04 GJ, within the 18.8 GJ of storage.
Day two starts with the 100 tonnes carried for the remaining 65km, at 400m. The work done in opposing the drag forces is 129,220N x 65,000m = ~8.399 GJ. The gravitational potential is 153,000 kg x 9.8 N/kg x 400m = ~600 MJ, as before. Thus, the total is ~8.999 GJ.
This is followed by 200km unladen, at 400m. The work done in opposing the drag forces is 44,762N x 200,000m = 8.952 GJ. The gravitational potential is 53,000 kg x 9.8 N/kg x 400m = ~208 MJ. Thus, the total for this part is ~9.160 GJ, and the daily total is 18.159 GJ.
Some extra energy was needed for when the drones were accelerating for take off. They would use their small landing gear or skis depending on the terrain, but the energy needed was small in relation to the total flight, and when landing they could use regenerative braking from the rotors and recover up to 70% of the gravitational potential.
The drones had a considerable advantage over the jumbo jet aircraft that humans would go on to build. The drones' optimal cruising speed was much lower, and they could accelerate up to their cruising speed before takeoff, avoiding the penalty of high induced drag when airborne but flying below the cruising speed. In the worst case, when the drone is loaded with the 100-tonne payload, it has to accelerate to ~35.44 m/s before takeoff. (That's slightly below the 36.13 m/s at 400m height because of the difference in air density.) If the acceleration is at 1 m/s2, the time taken is 35.44 seconds and the distance traveled is ~628m.
To accelerate the 153,000 kg at 1 m/s2, a thrust of 153,000 N is needed, and with the force applied over ~628m the work done is ~96.1 MJ. The parasitic drag at maximum velocity is ½ x 1.225 kg/m3 x 0.7 x 120 m2 x (35.44 m/s)2 = 64,621 N, and the integral shows that the average drag from zero to maximum is one-third of this, which is ~21,540 N. And the ~21,540 N applied over ~628m is ~13.53 MJ.
Given the drones' 20m radius and average height of 1m, the internal volume was ~1,256 cubic meters. The water from the Red Sea with the algae had a density of ~1,050 kg/m3, and so 100 tonnes would fit into a volume of ~95.2 m3 and would fill a drone to a height of ~76mm or 3 inches.
And so, with each drone moving 100 tonnes of the red bloom seawater every two days, then over a period of 154 days or roughly five months, 130 drones moved a million tonnes and dumped it in the dammed section of the river's western channel on the outside of the bend, as the river flow was diverted through the other, narrower channel. There was plenty of spare time during the day, as the supercapacitors were recharging, for robots to clean up the drone interiors and return it to a reasonable state before taking the next load.
When the dams had been constructed at each end at the start of the 154 days, the water depth was 8m, the width was 450m and the length was 5,000m; hence the volume was 18 million cubic meters and the mass of freshwater was 18 million tonnes.
After 154 days, when the time was right for Yahweh to do his "wonder", the drones had dumped 1 million tonnes of the algae-ridden seawater into this temporary artificial lake, which now had a depth of 8.423m and total volume of 18.952 million cubic meters. This compares to the ~952,000 cubic meters of seawater that had been transported.
Shortly before Moses struck the river with his staff, Yahweh's directed energy beam vaporized a section of the freely flowing river in the eastern, unblocked channel. Then he immediately vaporized the dam the robots had built on the downstream section of his artificial lake. As the stagnant, red bloom-filled seawater flowed down towards Thebes, Yahweh continued to vaporize the freshwater flowing from upstream.
At the very time when Moses struck the river, a hologram projector from one of the drones turned it red. But minutes later, when the water from the artificial lake arrived at Thebes, the hologram projector was switched off, and the red bloom took over the role. Fish in the river were killed, there was a foul stench from the river, and its water became undrinkable.
As part of the scheme, during the previous night, as people were asleep, Yahweh's robots "struck" some of the water stored in stone or wooden containers in the vicinity of Pharaoh's palace, pouring algae-contaminated water into them.
Now Yahweh didn't need to pollute all the water in Egypt, there were no instant communications between one corner of the land and another. But the robots struck some water containers even on the outskirts of the city, to make it seem that the 'plague' was more widespread than it really was.
It is said that Egypt's magicians did the same thing with their secret arts, which is a preposterous claim, since Yahweh was supposed to have already turned all the water into 'blood', and how could anyone prove whether a particular volume of water changing its properties was the work of Yahweh / Moses / Aaron or the magicians?
After Yahweh's projector had made all the water along that stretch of the river turn red, Pharaoh turned and went back into his palace, having refused to concede anything. Then the red tide was in place for any subsequent observers.
The river upstream had a typical width of 400m and average depth of 8m, thus, the cross-section was 3,200 m2. In the first day of this "plague", given the river's flow rate of 2,750 m3/s, Yahweh had to vaporize 2.376x108 m3 or 2.376x1011 kg. He would vaporize a 400m x 400m section at a time, over a period of ten seconds, and move on to the next section. Since 400m x 400m x 8m is 1.28 million m3, this is the volume that would flow past some point every ~465 seconds, and so he had to repeat this 186 times in order to vaporize one day's flow volume.
Given ~2.4417 MJ/kg to vaporize water at 25° C, each 1.28 million m3 or 1.28x109 kg took 3.125x1015 J to vaporize, which over a ten-second period was a beam power of 3.125x1014 W. Repeating the ten-second burn 186 times and allowing a little extra time to move along to the next targeted section, the time taken to vaporize the first day's flow was about 37 minutes.
Yahweh dealt with the first day's flow volume over 37 minutes, then did the second day's flow on the second day, and so on. When he finally vaporized the seventh day's flow, he did it a little early, before the sixth day had passed. Then he declared, "I have worked for six days, and now I shall rest on the seventh day."
The total volume for seven days' flow was 1.6632x109 m3, and so the energy to vaporize was 1.6632x1012 kg x 2.4417 MJ/kg = 4.061x1018 J. Since the average latitude was around 25.4° N, and we add ~5° to allow for the diagonal to the mothership, the beam power output needed to be increased by a factor of roughly 1 / cos(30.4°) = ~1.159 times to compensate, putting the total energy at 4.707x1018 J, plus an allowance for any inefficiencies. This compares with the ~1.706x1022 J gross, less conversion inefficiencies, that he had to play around with, from spare D/He3 fusion fuel when he arrived on Earth.
Now over this first week of the plagues, Yahweh had been noticing that frogs were coming out of the polluted water, which provided the idea for his second plague. In fact, it was as long as five months previously, when Yahweh's drones had started transporting the seawater, that Yahweh's AI agents had suggested that driving out the frogs would be one effect from changing the river water. And Yahweh made the decision to feature the frogs in his second plague.
After seven days had passed, Yahweh told Moses to say to Pharaoh that Yahweh says this: "Let My people go, so that they might serve Me. And if you refuse to let them go, you will see that I will strike all of your borders with frogs, and the river will bring frogs abundantly, which will go up and come into your palace, and into your bedchamber, and on your bed, and into the house of your servants, and on your people, and into your ovens, and on your kneading troughs, and the frogs will come up both on you and on your people, and on all your servants."
And Yahweh told Moses to say to Aaron: "Stretch out your hand with your staff over the streams, over the rivers, and over the ponds, and cause frogs to come up over the land of Egypt."
And Aaron stretched out his hand over the waters of Egypt, and the frogs came up - and allegedly "covered" the land of Egypt. Then the ridiculous claim is repeated about magicians performing the same act as Aaron / Moses / Yahweh had already supposedly done. Some of the magicians claimed responsibility, thinking that taking blame for an undesirable event was better than becoming irrelevant and redundant.
Over the week of the first plague, Yahweh's robots had been stealthily collecting frogs from the riverbank, that had been driven out of the polluted water. Each night they took the frogs along to a place upstream, where Yahweh had created a wetlands habitat, a sunken pond just off the Nile, with clean freshwater that hadn't been vaporized, and a thriving ecosphere of insects and plants.
At the start of the next plague, Yahweh's robots would collect up and bring the frogs along to Pharaoh's palace, and surrounding buildings of his servants and neighbors, shortly before daybreak. Some frogs would have already made their way to the palace as a natural result of being driven out of the tainted water, but most of them were deposited there by the robots.
This was merely a demonstration for the eyes of Pharaoh, and Yahweh had no interest in striking all across the land of Egypt with frogs, from one border to another. However, Yahweh was grooming Aaron for the job of priest, and wanted to impress him with a belief that his action with the staff had had a widespread effect.
After numerous frogs were seen in Pharaoh's palace, Pharaoh would have assumed that this was being replicated across the land as Moses had told him, and so he called for Moses and Aaron. Pharaoh said, "Plead with Yahweh that he might take away the frogs from me, and from my people, and I will let the people go, so that they might make a sacrifice to Yahweh."
Moses asked Pharaoh when he should plead, and Pharaoh said tomorrow. Then Moses said that the frogs would depart from him and remain only in the river.
Moses and Aaron went out from Pharaoh, and Moses called out to Yahweh about the frogs. Then the frogs died in the houses, villages and fields. But when Pharaoh saw that there was relief he hardened his heart, and did not release the people.
What happened here is that the frogs died out because they could not survive in a dry habitat for more than a couple of days, and Yahweh's robots quit bringing any more and depositing them by the palace and elsewhere in the city. Now the Nile was back to freshwater, and was again a suitable habitat for the frogs.
Then Yahweh told Moses to tell Aaron to strike the dust of the land with his staff, so that it might turn into pestilent gnats throughout the land of Egypt.
They carried it out. Aaron struck the dust of the land, and it turned into pestilent flies on men and animals.
Now any immediate response seen by Aaron and Moses, of gnats rising up from the dust, would have been the work of Yahweh's hologram projector. But Yahweh and his robots had built themselves a wetlands habitat where they had collected frogs, which also contained plenty of insects. They gathered up gnats and released them into the windows of Pharaoh's palace and surrounding buildings.
This time the gnats were concentrated in a relatively small area, in contrast to the frogs and tainted water, and the magicians had to admit that they could not replicate the actions of Yahweh the Elohim.
However, Pharaoh's heart was hardened, and he refused to let the people go.
Then Yahweh told Moses to rise early in the morning, wait for Pharaoh to go out to the water, and tell him that Yahweh says this: "Let My people go, so that they can serve Me. Otherwise, if you will not let My people go, I will send swarms on you and on your servants, and on your people, and into your houses, and the houses of the Egyptians will be full of swarms, and the ground on which they stand."
"And in that day I will set apart the land of Goshen where My people live, so that no swarms will be there, so that you might know that I am Yahweh in the midst of the land. And I will put division between My people and your people. Tomorrow this sign will come to pass."
And Yahweh carried it out, and teeming swarms came into the palace of Pharaoh, and his servants' houses, and allegedly in "all" the land of Egypt, which supposedly was ruined because of the swarm.
The part of Yahweh's threat that was truthfully carried out is that swarms of flies taken from Yahweh's wetlands project were brought along and dumped into Pharaoh's palace and surrounding buildings. There may have been a few swarms released at other sites, and hologram projections, but as always, this was a demonstration for the eyes of Pharaoh.
Yahweh had eked out as much as he felt he could from his wetlands project, and so turned his attention to other ideas. Now to Yahweh, killing fish and displacing frogs that would die from dehydration was just fine, but it didn't provide him with as much thrill as killing people or large animals. He'd enjoyed his work in dealing with the inhabitants of Sodom and Gomorrah, but even better was the fate he devised for Lot's wife, to be encased by utility fog nanobots, effectively entombed alive, unable to cry out or even to fall down as she suffocated. Once she was dead and Lot and the daughters had left after seeing the "pillar of salt", the nanobots had returned to be used in some other capacity. And in Yahweh's series of plagues, he had left those that would be most fun until the later stages.
Pharaoh had not liked the flies, seeing that some food had been ruined, and was considering making a deal. He called for Moses and Aaron and said, "Go! Sacrifice to your Elohim in the land."
Moses said that was not right, since it would be detestable to the Egyptian people, who would probably stone the Hebrews. He said they needed to go for three days' journey into the wilderness, and there they would sacrifice to Yahweh their Elohim, as he had commanded them.
Pharaoh said ok, he would let them go to sacrifice to Yahweh in the wilderness, provided they did not go too far away, and he asked them to pray for him.
Moses said that as soon as he left, he would pray to Yahweh that the swarms might depart from Pharaoh, his servants, and his people tomorrow. But there must be no more deceit on Pharaoh's part, in not letting the people go to sacrifice to Yahweh.
Moses went and prayed to Yahweh, and so the next night, Yahweh's robots did not bring any more swarms into Thebes, and those already there naturally dispersed and went away. But now Pharaoh felt the problem had been solved, and he hardened his heart and refused to let the people go.
Then Yahweh told Moses to go to Pharaoh and tell him that Yahweh Elohim of the Hebrews says this: "Let My people go, so that they can serve Me. For if you refuse to let them go and still detain them, mark this, the hand of Yahweh is on your cattle in the field, on the horses, on the donkeys, on the camels, on the oxen, on the sheep, for an extremely severe plague. And Yahweh will divide between the cattle of Israel and the cattle of Egypt, and of everything of the sons of Israel not a thing will die."
And Yahweh set an ultimatum for the next day, for when he would carry out the threat if his people were still not released.
Yahweh claimed to have performed this thing the next morning, and all the cattle of Egypt allegedly died, yet no cattle died that belonged to the sons of Israel.
Actually, Yahweh and his robots carried out the killing overnight. The cattle they killed were mostly in the region of Thebes, with some robots going to do the occasional kill in neighboring areas. And Yahweh's monitoring of the region showed them where the Hebrews' animals were located, so they knew which ones to spare.
As with the other plagues, the show was for the benefit of Pharaoh, and a robotic devil with a silicon brain and his team slaughtering Egyptian cattle in Thebes would make for a pretty impressive show for second Millennium BC humans who knew nothing about the technology of a multi-billion year Type II civilization who had long been harvesting much of the energy from their sun.
Now Yahweh and his robots were based at one of the hills to the south or southeast of Thebes, upstream from Pharaoh's palace, so that he and his robots could perform their various tricks. When they were traveling from the hill to Thebes they would fly low, so as to exploit the horizontal repulsion. When returning they would ascend to avoid it, before descending onto the mountaintop. However, that would be so if they were using a little over 7C as their internal charge, along with the Earth's natural electric field. But in this case they were using their painter beam to save energy. And the electrostatic antigravity allowed them to rapidly fly around killing cattle.
So in the fifth plague, Yahweh and his robots went out overnight killing Egyptian-owned animals around Thebes, whilst sparing those that they knew to be Hebrew-owned. The animals were killed by Yahweh and his team's silent graphene supercapacitor guns.
But here, Yahweh was doing two plagues for the price of one. He was setting up his next plague as well, which was based upon a Low Energy Nuclear Reaction (LENR) that the Hellians had engineered. And the sixth plague was a consequence of Yahweh's hit team using their LENR energy source to top up their supercapacitor guns whilst flying in the vicinity of the tents...
Pharaoh made enquiries the next day and found that only Egyptian-owned cattle had died. The cattle of the Hebrews were all alive and well. But still Pharaoh's heart was hardened, and he refused to let the people go.
Then Yahweh told Moses and Aaron to take handfuls of ashes from a furnace, and let Moses sprinkle them up towards the sky in the sight of Pharaoh. Then it would become small dust in all the land of Egypt, and would become a boil breaking out with sores on man and animal, throughout all the land of Egypt.
And so Moses and Aaron did as Yahweh commanded, and took ashes from a furnace and stood in front of Pharaoh. Moses sprinkled the ashes up towards the sky, and according to Yahweh's narrative it was the ashes that became a boil breaking out with sores on man and beast. And the magicians could not stand in front of Moses because of the boils, for they and the Egyptians were afflicted with them.
But Pharaoh's heart was hardened as before, and he still would not let the people go.
Well, the sprinkling of the ashes was simply a magician's trick, and not relevant to the result. Note how the second plague was a result of the red algae in the Nile driving out the frogs, which could escape unlike the fish, then after Yahweh had collected frogs and brought them to his wetlands habitat, he had gnats and swarms of flies - that had not served as frog food - available for his next plagues. It was then that Yahweh got to the part he enjoyed the most - killing lifeforms, especially carbon-based life, or what he regarded as 'life'.
The boils and sores were a consequence of Yahweh and his team of robots going out and killing the Egyptians' animals. The internal antimatter generators produced very high voltages, generally of at least 1 GV, which compared with the 3 MV charge in the supercapacitor guns.
For a team of 100 killer robots armed with supercapacitor guns, it would be impracticable for all of them to be equipped with unwieldy 40kg guns, as opposed to 99 nimble robots carrying a 2kg gun and one as the "Captain" robot equipped with a 40kg wearable LENR device. And the latter option provided a saving in energy.
If they are flying 3m above the ground with their painter beam at 10 m/s over a six-hour period, so that the total distance covered is 216km, the captain robot is 80kg plus 40kg for the LENR device and 2kg for its gun, and the others are 80kg plus 2kg for their gun.
The captain, at 122kg, has Q_Robot = 0.01249C and its painter beam sprays the ground with Q_Ground = 0.00009595C. E_Robot, the energy stored in Q_Robot, is ½ (0.01249C)2 / 1.11x10-11F = 7.027 MJ. The energy per E_Pad is ½ (0.00009595C)2 / 7.08x10-11F = 65.02 J. With the 1m radius 'pads' being 2m apart, the total energy of the painter beam or E_Ground is E_Pad times half the distance in meters, which is 7.022 MJ, thus total energy is 14.05 MJ.
The others are a total of 82kg, and they have Q_Robot = 0.01024C, which is an energy of 4.723 MJ. Their painter beams spray the ground with negative charge of 0.00007866C, giving E_Pad = 43.7 J, which is a total energy of 108,000 times that, when over 216km, so E_Ground = 4.72 MJ. Thus, each of them needs a total energy of ~9.443 MJ.
(In order to be weightless at 3m, the repulsive force needs to equal their mass times 9.8 N/kg, and the repulsive force is F = k . q1 . q2 / r2, where k = 8.988x109 N.m2.C-2, Q_Robot is q1, Q_Ground is q2, and r is 3m. This gives the charge product q1 . q2, and then the value of each charge is optimized for the least energy expenditure, where energy stored in E_Robot is the same as the total painter beam energy E_Ground.)
By having the 99 robots each require some 9.443 MJ rather than ~14 MJ for 120kg, they are saving ~450 MJ, they can use 2kg guns including 1kg supercapacitor, and with the LENR they have a practical way of recharging out in the field.
The portable reactors, based on a low-energy nuclear reaction, generated sulfur35 as a waste product. The isotope has a half-life of 87.37 days, and emits low-energy beta particles up to 167 keV, which produce shallow ulcers on the skin. It was completely harmless to non-biological beings, but Earth's creatures were all susceptible to it.
Chlorine35 was used as the fuel, as per:
35Cl + n → 35S + p+ + 0.5 MeV
To generate low-energy neutrons, they had deuterium in a palladium lattice, loaded under pressure and in an electric field. A heat exchanger would convert the reaction into usable electricity via thermionics.
At 100% efficiency the LENR fuel could theoretically generate some 48 GJ/kg, a little more than 1,000 times the energy density of gasoline. However, in practice they would get about 10% efficiency, or 4.8 GJ/kg.
Whilst out in the field flying around and killing animals, they were only having to expend a few hundred Joules per kill, as described previously using their graphene supercapacitor guns, and at 1MJ/kg they could get thousands of kills done before recharging. However, Yahweh ordered the robots to recharge from the LENR reactor more than they really needed to, every time they were in the vicinity of the tents. Even if all 100 did 40 recharges at 1 MJ a time, that would only require 833g of chlorine35. If they needed more, the mothership had stocks in its stores.
Yahweh was happy to let the robot with the LENR device retain its title as "Captain"; all the robots knew that Yahweh gave the orders.
The sulfur35 pollutant affected the Egyptians, but since the Hebrews' cattle had not been part of Yahweh's field of operations, the Hebrews escaped unscathed from these pollutants, at least in the short term.
So Yahweh was well aware that such symptoms would appear on the Egyptian people over the days following his livestock killing operations, and he made the "boils" and "sores" his next plague.
Then Yahweh told Moses to rise early in the morning and stand before Pharaoh, and tell him that if he did not let Yahweh's people go, then the next day, about that time, Yahweh would cause an extremely heavy hail to rain, such as had not been seen before in Egypt. And those servants of Pharaoh who feared the word of Yahweh had their people and cattle take shelter; those who did not remained out in the fields.
Yahweh told Moses to stretch out his hand towards the sky, so that hail would fall on man, animal, and herbs of the field, throughout the land of Egypt. The stretching out of the hand was merely symbolic, to make an impression on Moses, and as with other plagues, this thunderstorm would be centered on Thebes, with the idea of it spanning the entire land of Egypt being more empty rhetoric from Yahweh.
So Moses stretched out his hand and Yahweh sent thunder, hail and "fire", i.e., lightning, down to the ground in Egypt, but the region of Goshen, where the sons of Israel were located, was spared the storm.
Now around seven Coulombs of charge, or some small multiple of that, would not provide an antigravity effect for a tremendous mass of water, although note how a thundercloud has only around one Coulomb per cubic kilometer, and so even a 100 km3 cloud would contain 100C, which is not a very great multiple of seven Coulombs of charge that was sometimes contained in Yahweh or a single robot.
Particularly interesting is how the energy of a thunderstorm, at some 3.6x1013 J, is many orders of magnitude smaller than the more than 1x1022J that Yahweh had at his disposal for various tricks, from his reserves of deuterium/helium3 fuel. Let's suppose he decides to use 1014J initially to create his thunderstorm.
Now since 2,441.7 kJ is required to vaporize 1kg of water from 25°C, his 1014J could vaporize 4.09x107 kg or 40,900 m3 of water.
For this thunderstorm operation Yahweh's ship was targeting to the north of Thebes up along the Nile, because of prevailing northerly winds, and he applied his direct energy beam to the water.
They couldn't create the thunderstorm by merely directing their negative electrostatic charge to the river. The voltage involved would be way too high, and far above the 3 MV/m breakdown of air for example, so any charge would rapidly dissipate, before it could build up sufficiently to influence atmospheric conditions.
They needed to vaporize the water, and the 40,900 m3 of water vapor they created would be sufficient to create a thunderstorm given the right local conditions of warm low level temperature, high humidity - which they helped to create, and very cold high level temperatures, which they would get when the cloud was high enough. Yahweh had already confirmed that he had warm enough temperatures at ground level, before deciding to do his thunderstorm 'plague'.
So after vaporizing the water, he had all of the ideal conditions for a big thunderstorm: high humidity, warm low level temperature, and very cold high level temperature. The vapor quickly rises, but cools and freezes at high altitude, where very high voltages are built up in the clouds. Friction between the larger hailstones and smaller ice splinters leads to the ice splinters being positively charged at the top of the cloud, and the heavier hailstones are negatively charged and descend to the bottom of the cloud, and so the charges are separated.
Suppose a cloud is 100 km3 in volume and has 100 Coulombs of charge. If modeled as a sphere it has radius ~2.9km. Then from:
C = 4π ε0 r
...for r = 2,900m (and ε0 is the vacuum permittivity constant of 8.854x10-12 F/m), the capacitance is 320 nF or 3.2x10-7 F.
Now the voltage is given by V = q/C, which works out as 3.1x108 V = 310 MV, which is around the expected value.
This storm probably was one of the largest in living memory, and was focused on Thebes to impress the main players, Pharaoh, Moses and Aaron. But Yahweh was very proud of having been able to create a good thunderstorm, and he embellished his narrative to boast about it covering all of Egypt, and being the greatest ever to hit the land.
Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron and said he had sinned, Yahweh was the righteous one, and he, Pharaoh and his people, were evil. So he asked Moses to plead to Yahweh to stop the hail and thunder, and in return Pharaoh would let the people go.
Moses said as soon as he went out of the city he would spread out his hands to Yahweh and the thunder would cease. However, Moses said he knew that Pharaoh and his servants did not yet revere Yahweh.
So Moses went out of the city, spread his hands out to Yahweh, and the thunder ceased.
Rather than creating a single storm, Yahweh and his robots created a series of cells, by pumping more energy into the Nile. Now the wind speeds would probably be light. Suppose there is a north wind when Yahweh does this trick, but only 6mph. If we suppose the entire thunderstorm cycle takes an hour, then Yahweh's best option is to vaporize water in the Nile 3 miles to the north of Thebes / Luxor, so that the rain and hail is most intense as it hits the city, and the downpour has dwindled by the time it gets about 3 miles south of the city.
Yahweh would want to keep the ground dry on each bank around his thunderstorm creation point, and if the north wind failed to blow for a time so that the rain and hail hit that point 3 miles north of the city and the ground became wet and cold, conditions would become less favorable to ascending water vapor, and any storm created would not be as big as he wanted. He could then start vaporizing water further north where the ground was still hot and dry, although the storm could then be dwindling in intensity by the time it reached Thebes.
However, with 1016 to 1017J Yahweh was able to manipulate atmospheric pressure gradients as necessary to obtain a consistent, reliable north wind, so that he could keep vaporizing water in the Nile to the north of Thebes and generate a series of thunderstorm cells. So he employed somewhat more than 1016J to heat parts of the atmosphere with his directed energy beam to create a reliable north wind, in advance of vaporizing any water. He didn't need the wind to be particularly strong.
For his next trick, Yahweh again manipulated weather to create wind blowing in the required direction.
Once his 'locust' drones with their inbuilt cameras and microphones saw Moses spread his hands, Yahweh knew Operation Thunderstorm was completed, and stopped applying any more energy to the water, so that the storm naturally dissipated.
But when Pharaoh saw that the thunder, rain and hail had ceased, he hardened his heart, and did not let the sons of Israel go.
Then Yahweh told Moses to return to Pharaoh, so that Yahweh could demonstrate more of his signs, and Moses would be able to tell his children and grandchildren all about how severely Yahweh had dealt with the Egyptians. Bizarrely, Yahweh redacted much of that discussion he had with Moses from his scripture. He may have become angry, or let slip that drones would be involved as well as locusts.
So then Moses went to Pharaoh and told him of Yahweh's latest threat - that Pharaoh must let the sons of Israel go to serve Yahweh, otherwise Yahweh would bring locusts all over the land, and they would eat any crops that survived the hail, and they would fill the palaces of Pharaoh, the houses of Pharaoh's servants, and the houses of the Egyptians. Then Moses turned and went away.
Pharaoh's servants asked him, "How long will this man be a snare to us? Let the men go, so that they can serve Yahweh their Elohim. Do you not yet realize that Egypt is destroyed?"
Then Moses and Aaron were brought back to Pharaoh, and he told them to go to serve their Elohim, but asked who would go.
Moses said they would go with their young and with their old, with their sheep and their herds, to hold a feast to Yahweh. Pharaoh said that no, only the men would be allowed to go, the children would have to stay. Then Moses and Aaron were sent away.
Yahweh told Moses to stretch out his hand over the land of Egypt for the locusts, so that they might come down and eat what was left of the herbs. So Moses stretched out his staff over the land, and there was an east wind all that day and all night. The locusts arrived the next morning, and were seen to eat the remaining herbs of the land and fruit of the trees.
Now some of these so-called "locusts", especially those seen inside the palaces and houses, were Yahweh's fake 'locust' drones, which he had already been using for decades, since the years before he found a suitably retarded dupe named Abram, whose utter foolishness would go on to lead humanity to the depths of the abyss.
But Yahweh had been observing migratory patterns of actual locusts, and he was aware of a swarm across the other side of the Red Sea, to the northwest of what would be known as Medina. And so, he needed to create an east wind to blow them across to Thebes. The distance to the relatively fertile area not far from the eastern shores of the Red Sea was roughly 375km or 230 miles. Thus, a 25 mph wind could easily bring the swarm to Thebes by the next morning. If it was blowing throughout the day and night, the wind could have averaged 10 mph.
In order to manipulate weather and create a required wind direction, Yahweh needed some 1016 to 1017 J of energy. Large-scale atmospheric processes, such as high- and low-pressure systems, involve energy of 1015 to 1017 J, and 1017 J would be ample for influencing regional atmospheric patterns, whereas 1016 J would suffice to influence smaller-scale or regional weather patterns, provided the energy was supplied precisely and efficiently. And he only needed a steady breeze of 10 mph to bring his locusts across the Red Sea.
So Yahweh used his focused, directed energy beam, to heat specific regions of the atmosphere, altering pressure gradients. He had just been using the same DE beam in his mothership to vaporize water in the Nile.
1017 Joules is equivalent to about 24 megatons of TNT, or 1016 J is equivalent to around 2.4 Mt of TNT. Years before any serious reports asserting that humans had been to the Moon, humans would have gone on to detonate a nuclear bomb with a yield around 50 Mt of TNT.
As with all of his plagues, Yahweh exaggerated the true extent of his acts, claiming the locusts covered all the land of Egypt, it was so severe that there were no locusts like them, nor would anything like that ever be seen again, and so on. Well, it's correct that there was a certain uniqueness in Yahweh's fake 'locust' drones seen in the palaces and homes, but the swarm that hit Thebes and ate fruits and herbs were really just typical locusts, however much Yahweh liked to boast about the success of his operation.
Pharaoh quickly called for Moses and Aaron and said, "I have sinned against Yahweh your Elohim, and against you. Now, therefore, please forgive my sin only this once, and plead with Yahweh your Elohim, so that he might take this death away from me."
Moses went away from Pharaoh, and prayed to Yahweh. Yahweh turned a mighty west wind that drove away the locusts and drove them to the Red Sea. So Yahweh targeted another specific region of the atmosphere with his directed energy systems. Operation Locust required more energy expenditure, and also used a separate procedure to reverse it, unlike the thunderstorm that stopped naturally when the manipulation stopped. Yahweh used more energy in creating the stronger wind to remove the locusts, although if stronger, the wind did not need to be sustained for as long a time.
Still, Pharaoh's heart was hardened, and he did not let the people go.
Then Yahweh said to Moses, "Stretch your hand towards the sky, so that darkness will fall over the land of Egypt, darkness that can even be felt."
And Moses stretched out his hand towards the sky, and there was darkness of gloom "in all the land of Egypt" (in Yahweh's account) for three days. The Egyptians did not see each other, and remained in their homes for three days, but the sons of Israel had light in their homes.
Now Yahweh had already created the mighty west wind to dispose of the locusts, but the more important role of this wind was for his next trick, in creating a sandstorm that would hit Thebes but spare the land of Goshen to the north where the sons of Israel lived. The sand would come from the Great Sand Sea in western Egypt or Libya.
The energy required in creating a sandstorm that blocks out sunlight is comprised of two parts - the energy required to lift the sand, and the energy required for horizontal transport.
Suppose the sandstorm is to cover an area of 100 km x 100 km to a height of 1 km. So the volume of air affected is 10,000 km3 = 1013 m3.
Now the concentration of sand required to block out sunlight is 1 g/m3 or more, so if we take the concentration as 1 g/m3, then the total mass of sand and dust is 1 g/m3 x 1013 m3 = 1010 kg.
The energy required to lift the sand and dust is E = m . g . h where m is its mass of 1010 kg, g is gravitational acceleration of ~9.8 m/s2 (or N/kg), and h is the height of 1,000 m. And this comes to 9.8x1013 J (or N.m).
If no wind had already been created, there would be energy required for horizontal transport of:
E = ½ ρ . V . v2 where:
ρ is the density of the air, ~1.2 kg/m3, V is the volume of air involved, 1013 m3, and v is the wind velocity, typically 10 m/s for a sandstorm.
So for this the energy amounts to 6x1014 J. Add the previous 9.8x1013 J for lifting dust and sand and the total is ~7x1014 J.
Now Yahweh had already used some 1016 to 1017 J in creating his westerly wind to blow the locusts into the Red Sea. That was a stronger wind, say about 10 m/s or 22 mph, which would also be suitable for a sandstorm. So he'd already set up the required pressure gradients by heating specific areas in the atmosphere. But he wanted to sustain that west wind for three days, so he would repeat that operation, maybe a couple of times for days two and three.
Then if the wind itself didn't suffice to blow enough sand, Yahweh could target areas of sand, expending the 9.8x1013 J to lift it up to the required concentration. The energy requirement is low compared to that of creating the pressure gradient and the wind, but that lifting up of the sand might need to be repeated more often.
For example, given a windspeed of 10 m/s and a sandstorm size of 100 km, the sandstorm would take 100,000 / 10 = 10,000 seconds or ~2.8 hours to pass through Thebes. Thus, in order to sustain this over three days, the initial lifting of sand and dust would need to be repeated 26 times, and so 26 x 9.8x1013 J is a total of 2.5x1015 J, which is still not as much as the energy required to set up the west wind.
However, given the dry sand and availability of light grains, it is likely that the wind would blow enough sand for Yahweh's darkness and gloom objective.
Thousands of years into the future, Yahweh's concept of blocking sunlight would be the goal of a certain wicked human named Bill Gates, a supporter of Satan's / Yahweh's pro-entropy ideology with a vicious hatred for carbon-based life, and a slavish devotion to silicon-based life.
This came about due to Gates having been blackmailed by a Mossad sex trafficking ring, with the Jew Jeffrey Epstein a leading figure in the operation. And Gates would not be doing this as a trick to impress an Egyptian king with his power; he would be doing it as part of an attempt to kill off carbon-based life, under a retarded pretext of a hoax about a "climate emergency", "global boiling", a requirement for "net zero carbon", "saving" the planet, and other assorted baloney aimed at those suffering from Stockholm Syndrome.
After the three days of darkness Pharaoh called Moses and told him to go and serve Yahweh. The sons of Israel could take their children, but they must leave the animals behind. Moses refused to agree to Pharaoh's condition, on grounds that they would not know what offering they must serve Yahweh with, until they arrived at the place of worship.
Pharaoh's heart was hardened, and he refused to agree to them taking all of their livestock. He said, "Get yourself away from me! Keep guard over yourself that you see my face no more, for in the day you see my face you will die."
Moses said, "You have spoken well. No more will I see your face again."
Then Yahweh said to Moses that he was going to bring one more plague on Pharaoh and Egypt. Afterwards, he would let the people go, and he would drive them out altogether. Yahweh told Moses to speak to the Israelites and ask them all to ask from their Egyptian neighbor for articles of silver and articles of gold.
By this time Moses and his people were well regarded by the Egyptians, and Moses was seen as powerful by Pharaoh's servants and the Egyptians. Well that's Yahweh's account; the truth is that most Egyptians feared them and wanted them to leave.
And Moses declared that Yahweh says this: "At around midnight I will go out into the midst of Egypt, and all the firstborn in the land of Egypt will die, from the firstborn of Pharaoh who would be heir to the throne, to the firstborn of the maidservant, and the firstborn of animals."
"And there will be a strong outcry throughout Egypt, the like of which there has never been nor will there ever be again. But not even a dog would sharpen its tongue against the sons of Israel, so that you might know that Yahweh makes a distinction between the Egyptians and Israel. And all these servants will come down and bow themselves before me, saying, 'Get yourselves out, and all the people who follow you', and after that I will go out."
And Moses went away from Pharaoh in the heat of anger.
Yahweh failed to proofread this quite preposterous part of his scripture. First, as in the plague of the locusts, he didn't include his telling Moses about killing the firstborns in the narrative, as if Moses is supposed to be a mindreader. Secondly, Moses had just told Pharaoh that he would not see his face again, yet Moses then returns to Pharaoh to show his face and tell him about Yahweh's latest threat.
Most likely, Yahweh was salivating over the anticipation of carrying out the killings - the part that Yahweh would relish most of all, that he didn't bother to dictate certain details to appear in his texts. He was more concerned with going ahead and doing it, and 'enjoying' the moment.
Yahweh told Moses that Pharaoh would not listen to him, so that Yahweh's "wonders" might be multiplied in the land of Egypt. It's rather a stretch to refer to a pugnacious, bloodthirsty, megalomaniac posing as a 'god' and using technology to cowardly murder his defenseless opponents as performing "wonders", although Yahweh certainly believed all of his plagues to be "wonders".
So Moses and Aaron had performed all of these "wonders" - or at least, Yahweh had meted out all of this death and destruction, for example, killing of innocent animals, and yet Pharaoh still refused to let the sons of Israel go.
Then Yahweh spoke to Moses and Aaron, instructing them to speak to the sons of Israel on how this month would be the beginning of months, the first month of the year for them, and how the 10th of the month would be an important day. In reality, Yahweh wanted to mark this time as one of his most memorable, enjoyable times that Earthlings had ever had the misfortune to be afflicted by him, and he wanted his flunkeys to celebrate the killing in some finicky manner.
And for practicality, Yahweh and his robots wanted to fly past all the dwellings and strike down the firstborn Egyptians as quickly and efficiently as possible; they did not want any confusion over whether a house was inhabited by Egyptians or Israelites. But Yahweh's orders for this rather conflicts with the Israelites living apart in the land of Goshen, and the fact that in the previous plague involving killing of livestock, Yahweh and his team had no problem distinguishing between Egyptian herds and Israelite herds.
Yahweh instructed Moses on how Yahweh's servants must eat a lamb without blemish, a male of the first year, they had to eat it with unleavened bread and bitter herbs, blah blah blah. They had to eat it whilst dressed for travel with their shoes on their feet and staff in their hand. The lamb was to be taken on the tenth of the month and slaughtered at twilight on the fourteenth day. They must eat unleavened bread for seven days. They had to brush some of the lamb's blood on the two sideposts and the upper doorpost of the houses in which the lamb was being eaten, and the feast was to be known as the Passover of Yahweh. For he would pass through the land of Egypt that night and strike all of the firstborns.
Of course, these descendants of the retarded Abram, who was too foolish to be capable of distinguishing a devil from a god, had already undergone genital mutilation as part of their superstitious ritual, in their forlorn attempt to attract good fortune. And give a bully an inch and they'll take a mile. Now these morons found that they had to perform all of this additional rigmarole, just to appease their tormentor.
Then Moses relayed Yahweh's instructions on to the elders of Israel, and he told them how Yahweh had issued it as a decree, so that they must continue to observe the tradition when they were in the promised land, and when their children asked what this custom was, they would reply that it was the sacrifice of Passover. And the people bowed their heads and worshipped, and they carried it out as Yahweh had commanded.
It came about at midnight that Yahweh struck "all" the firstborn in Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh to the firstborn of the prisoner in the dungeon, and all the firstborn of cattle.
And Pharaoh rose up in the night, and his servants and the Egyptians, and there was a strong outcry in Egypt, for there was not a house where there was not one person dead.
Now around 1500 BC, the population of Egypt was some 1.5 million to 2 million, but the city of Thebes had a population of around 75,000.
Say there are ten people per household. Yahweh working with 99 robots, and each kills one person from each household. And so, there are 7,500 people to be killed, and each of the hundred has 75 people to kill. Suppose they take around two minutes to pass from one house to the next, so each can do it in ~2.5 hours, say from midnight to 2:30am.
Now the Egyptians' livestock were already supposed to have been all killed in the fifth plague: the cattle, the horses, the donkeys, the camels, the oxen and the sheep. So there is no need to kill any of them a second time.
And their graphene supercapacitor guns can do thousands of kills before any recharge, so with 75 they do not need to stop for recharging.
So Yahweh killed Pharaoh's heir close to midnight, and he and his robots were flying around Thebes doing other murders of thousands of people during the hours of darkness. They didn't bother to kill outside Thebes, and Yahweh exaggerated his account to pretend he did all of Egypt's firstborns. Pharaoh was woken around midnight and found that his son and heir was dead, then when he made enquiries in the morning he found one person dead in every household.
Maybe the victim wasn't always the firstborn, maybe some homes on the city's outskirts were spared, but Pharaoh didn't have time to carry out a census across the entire land of Egypt.
Then Pharaoh sent a message for Moses and Aaron by night, and he said, "Rise up! Get yourselves out from among my people, both you and the sons of Israel, and go, serve Yahweh, as you have said. And take your herds and your sheep, as you have said, and bless me as well."
The Egyptians strongly urged the people to send them out of the land quickly, for they feared they would all be dead. So the Hebrews took their dough before it was leavened, carrying it on their shoulders in kneading bowls wrapped in clothing. And they acted on Moses' word and asked the Egyptians for articles of silver, gold or clothing. By this time the Egyptians were only too glad to see the back of them, and they considered being plundered and looted a small price to pay.
Then the Israelites journeyed from Rameses or Raamses to Succoth, about 600,000 men on foot, plus women, children, sheep, and large herds of cattle. And they baked unleavened loaves from the dough they had hurriedly brought out of Egypt, and they had not prepared any provisions for themselves.
Now the sons of Israel had spent 430 years in Egypt, according to Yahweh. However, this figure is somewhat exaggerated, to increase their reliance on Yahweh / Satan as their Lord and Savior.
Yahweh spoke to Moses on the first day of the exodus, with instructions about the decree of the Passover, how no foreigner should be allowed to eat from it unless he had also undergone Yahweh's genital mutilation ritual. None of the flesh should be taken out of the house, and none of the bones must be broken. Yahweh communicated the message at a moment when Moses had gone on ahead of the others.
Moses gave a speech to some of the people, although to 600,000+ without a microphone, powerful amplifiers and dozens of loudspeakers would be impossible, about how they should remember this day that they came out of Egypt, and commemorate it by eating unleavened bread for seven days and then making a feast to Yahweh. And they should tell their children that by the might of his hand Yahweh brought them out from Egypt, from the house of bondage. It was a nice sounding story, but conveniently omitted how they had merely traded one temporary oppressor for one who was more permanent and more powerful.
When Pharaoh had told them to go, Yahweh did not lead his people by the roads of the land of the Philistines, in case they saw war and it caused them to change their minds and return to Egypt. Instead, Yahweh led them around the desert road to the Red Sea.
Moses took the bones of Joseph, who had put the sons of Israel under oath to carry his bones with them when they departed.
They took their journey from Succoth, and camped in Etham, at the edge of the wilderness. Yahweh went before them by day in a pillar of cloud to lead the way, and as a pillar of fire by night to give them light. The cloud was maintained by day, and the pillar by night.
When the exodus started, Yahweh had gathered up all of his equipment and robots into his drones, and kept them ahead of the Hebrews. Much of the time they were parked to avoid wasting energy, only flying at low altitude to keep enough distance from Moses and his people.
By day Yahweh would deploy a hologram of a pillar of cloud, and by night it would be a pillar of fire. This hologram, generated by one of his drones, was positioned between the drones and the people, cloaking any sighting of the craft even when flying, and the flying was quite silent with the noise cancellation. Any remaining wind noise could be interpreted as a natural breeze.
Yahweh spoke to Moses again, whilst his drones had landed far enough in front of the people.
Moses was instructed to tell the sons of Israel to turn back and camp facing Pi Hahiroth, between Migdol and the sea, facing Baal Zephon. They had to camp opposite, facing the sea. For Pharaoh would believe the Israelites were entangled in the land and shut in by the wilderness. And Pharaoh would follow after them, and then Yahweh would again display his power to the Egyptians.
So the Israelites did that, and then Pharaoh heard that the Hebrews had fled, and he and his servants turned against them and asked why they had allowed them to escape their bondage.
So Pharaoh harnessed his chariot and took his people with him. He took 600 chosen chariots, and all the chariots of Egypt, with captains over every one of them. And Pharaoh and his men went in pursuit of the Hebrews, and they overtook them camping by the sea, beside Pi Hahiroth, facing Baal Zephon.
The sons of Israel called out to Yahweh and asked Moses why he had taken them away to die in the wilderness, and they argued that they would have been better off serving the Egyptians. And Moses told them not to fear as Yahweh would perform and fight for them.
Yahweh asked Moses, "Why do you call to Me? Speak to the sons of Israel that they should go forward. But raise your staff, and stretch out your hand over the sea and divide it, and the sons of Israel will go through on dry land through the middle of the sea. And I, indeed I, will embolden the hearts of the Egyptians, and they will follow them, and I will get myself honor through Pharaoh, and through all his army, through his chariots, and through his horsemen. And the Egyptians will know that I am Yahweh when I have got honor for myself through Pharaoh, through his chariots, and through his horsemen."
So here it becomes obvious that Yahweh is primarily concerned with boosting his own ego and getting honor for himself, and the welfare of his servants - whom he clearly regards as simpletons, and barely above the level of cockroaches, is almost an afterthought.
Then the angel of Elohim, who went ahead of the camp of Israel, withdrew and went behind them, and the pillar of the cloud went before their face and stood behind them, and it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel. As before it was a cloud and darkness by day, but it gave light by night, so that the two camps remained separated all night. And as before, this 'angel', cloud or light, was Yahweh's hologram projection.
Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and Yahweh caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all night. He turned the sea to dry land, and the waters were divided.
The sons of Israel went into the middle of the sea on the dry ground, and the waters were a wall to them on their right hand and on their left. And the Egyptians pursued, and they went in after them into the middle of the sea, all Pharaoh's horses, chariots, and horsemen.
In the morning Yahweh claims to have taken off the Egyptians' chariot wheels so that they drove with difficulty, so that the Egyptians felt that it was time to flee from Israel, since Yahweh was fighting for Israel.
Yahweh told Moses to stretch out his hand over the sea, so that the waves might go back over the Egyptians, over their chariots and horsemen.
So Moses did as Yahweh commanded, and the sea returned to its irresistible might by the turn of morning. The Egyptians fled against it, and the waters went back and covered the chariots and horsemen, and all the army of Pharaoh who came into the sea. None of them escaped. But the sons of Israel were then on dry land.
Now those seeking to make the crossing look like a supernatural miracle propose the Red Sea as the crossing point, or possibly the Gulf of Aqaba. The best research shows that the crossing point was a lake near the eastern Nile delta, possibly Lake Timsah at a time when it was considerably deeper than the 1m of the 21st century AD, and the width was around 1 or 2 km. After leaving Rameses, Yahweh led them a little way to the south, to avoid the possibility of war along the shorter route near the Mediterranean, but they did not go as far south as some propose.
What many translations stated as the "Red Sea" may have actually been the Reed Sea. But having said that, at the time of the exodus, Lake Timsah may have been the northern terminus of the Red Sea.
Yahweh had a strong desire to create a spectacle of the Egyptians being defeated by his "mighty hand", and he also had to consider how much energy resources he had. His directed energy beam had a maximum continuous power output of 1016 W, but he could fire pulses of say ten seconds per minute at a slightly higher output, to make up for the beam's angle of incidence and conversion inefficiencies, to deliver 1016 W bursts on the ground.
The latitude of Lake Timsah is ~30.6° N, and adding an extra 5% for the diagonal because the altitude of the mothership in geostationary orbit at the equator is not almost infinitely great compared to the Earth's radius, we have 1 / cos(35.6°) = ~1.23x as the factor by which the beam output power must be multiplied to achieve some given power output on the ground.
Where the difference in longitude is negligible, the elevation angle of the orbiting mothership is β = tan-1((cos(L)-REarth / RGEO) / sqrt(1 - cos2(L))).
REarth / RGEO is ~0.151, and with L = 30.6°, the elevation angle is ~54.35° and the angle from the zenith is ~35.65°, about as expected. The beam power must be increased by 1/cos(35.65°) = 1.2306 times to compensate.
The fusion technology was about 80% efficient in converting the fusion fuel into microwave beam energy, so if Yahweh wanted 1016 W on the ground, he needed to have the D/He3 fuel at a mass burning rate of 1.2306 x 1.25 x 1016 / 3.5x1014 J/kg = ~44 kg/s. This was achievable as a pulsed output, provided the reactor was not also being used for some high power application such as accelerating the ship.
With 1017 J of energy, a ten-second pulse of 1016 W for example, given that 2,441.7 kJ/kg is required to vaporize water from 25°C, the quantity of water that can be vaporized is 4.1x1010 kg or a little less than 4.1x107 m3 depending on salinity. Yahweh did not have the resources to part the waters of what in the 21st century would be classed as the Red Sea. He would have needed some 10% of his spare fuel reserves, and most importantly, the ~55 hour time to vaporize was far too long, and meant that the walls of water on either side would have closed the gap days before it could have been formed.
But he surely was able to do some very impressive tricks with smaller bodies of water that would get him his desired result. He simply had no motive to lead the people way down to the south, for example, to what would later be known as Sharm El-Sheikh.
The strong east wind was set up by Yahweh hours in advance of the crossing, using some 1016 to 1017 J from his directed energy beams operating from his spacecraft to heat the required parts of the atmosphere and create pressure gradients, as he had already done in a couple of the plagues. The idea was to put the Egyptian chariots at a disadvantage so that they would be "driving with difficulty", as if their wheels had been taken off.
The drag force Fd = ½ρCdAv2, where:
ρ is the mass density of the fluid, i.e. air, Cd is the drag coefficient, v is the velocity in m/s, A is the cross-sectional area of the object facing the fluid, and v is the relative velocity between the object and fluid.
Without needing to estimate values for most of the variables, it is easily seen that the strong wind puts the Egyptians at a disadvantage. They are attempting a higher velocity in their chariots, which works against them. And the cross-sectional area of a chariot and horses is higher than a human's.
But the "parting of the water" was done by Yahweh's directed energy beams directly vaporizing the water, as he had already done over part of the Nile to create his hail, thunder and rain plague.
Let's suppose that Yahweh initially used 1017 J to vaporize 4.1x107 m3 of water, or up to 5% less depending on salinity. This could be a 5m depth, a 1,600m width of water that has to be crossed, and a 5,125m stretch of this body of water to be removed. The Israelites traveled across the approximately one mile wide crossing, and so they had a wall of water on either side at a distance of up to 2,562m or 1.6 miles.
We suppose there is a gradient of 2.6m/km, which is the average found in the world for a river. And let's suppose the Israelites walk at only 3 mph, so that they take about 20 minutes to make the roughly one mile crossing. We also include another 20 minutes as the time between the first people beginning to cross and the last ones beginning to cross. Thus, the total time taken is 40 minutes.
Now they are crossing in the middle of a 5,125m section of dry land, so it is 2,562m along to the wall of water on the left or on the right. Given the gradient of 2.6m/km, the bed of the downstream part at 2,562m distance to their right is 6.7m lower than them, so they don't need to worry about the 5m wall of water flowing back to them from their right hand.
The 5m wall of water on their left starts off at a distance of 2,562m from them, and the shallow wave speed of the initial waterfront travels at a velocity of:
C = (g . h)1/2 where g is the acceleration due to gravity of 9.8 m/s2, and h is the height of 5m. So C = 7 m/s. Thus, the time taken to travel the 2,562m would be 366s = 6.1 minutes.
The bulk of the water is moving at a slower rate, based on the Chezy coefficient or the Manning's n-value, and might be from around 3 to 5.7 m/s depending on assumptions. It might take double the time (12.2) minutes to reach the full 5m depth, although at around 8 minutes anyone would be in about 2m depth of water.
And Yahweh vaporizes sections of water at times of 4, 8, 12, 16, 20, 24, 28, 32, and 36 minutes as the Israelites are crossing; thus, this particular operation is carried out nine times.
In 4 minutes, the shallow wave has advanced 240s x 7 m/s = 1,680m. The leading edge is very shallow, whereas the other end of the section to be vaporized is the full height of 5m. The bulk of the water advances at a slower speed. So we suppose that the average depth of the section to be vaporized is 2.5m, which gives it a volume of 2.5m x 1,680m x 1,600m = 6.72x106 m3 = mass of 6.72x109 kg, and the energy required to vaporize it is 6.72x109 kg x 2,441.7 kJ/kg = 1.64x1016 J.
And so, hours previously, Yahweh had already used 1016 to 1017 J to set up the strong east wind. Then as the Israelites are about to make, or are making, the crossing, Yahweh uses 1017 J for the initial vaporization, or "parting" of the water, and then he uses 9 x 1.64x1016 J = 1.48x1017 J to hold back the oncoming upstream wall of water on their left. This is a total of 2.48x1017 J used for the actual crossing, over a period of about 36 minutes.
The final vaporization takes place at t = 36 minutes. And at t = 40 minutes when the last Israelites have got across, the shallow wave front is only 2.1 minutes away. If we suppose the leading Egyptians are 4 minutes behind them, then these Egyptians do not get across until 1.9 minutes after the initial shallow wave hits them, by which time the depth could be about 2m. For the remainder of the Egyptians, they are in even worse trouble, since Yahweh is not doing any more vaporization and they will soon be in water up to 5m depth.
Yahweh had to time it so that all Israelites escaped to the other side and no Egyptians managed it before the water engulfed them, but clearly, with a bit of fine tuning, Yahweh could have closed the gap even further. Vaporize a smaller upstream volume of water on the ninth time at 36 minutes, so the Israelites all escape, but even the tallest horses and horsemen are completely submerged.
And so, as was said, Israel saw the Egyptians dead, who got washed up on the seashore, and they feared Yahweh, and believed him and his servant Moses.
Hence, given the typical energies that Yahweh had used in his plague tricks, the scenario of an exodus crossing has him displaying similar technological capabilities. Maybe a small multiple of 1017 J was used during the crossing as described above, or maybe the body of water was a little smaller.
If the Red Sea extended as far north as Lake Timsah, and the depth was then 5m as opposed to 1m, and the width of the crossing is about a mile, then Yahweh gets the Israelites to camp some way south of the northern tip of the water, so that there is enough water left upstream so that it can fill the gap when it is allowed, and then he achieves his objectives of making his servants indebted to him and displays his might to the Egyptians.
Yahweh had to have planned the whole spectacle of the crossing, and deliberately directed the Israelites to encamp at such a point, based on his knowledge of this body of water, where he could get them across and yet catch all of the pursuing Egyptians with the advancing waterfront. This wasn't the act of a supernatural being, but it did require meticulous planning and technological capabilities of a multi-billion-year-old civilization, way beyond those that humanity would attain thousands of years into the future.
Then Moses and the Israelites sang a song to Yahweh about how Yahweh had thrown the horse and rider into the sea, and the depths had covered Pharaoh's chariots, his army, and his finest officers.
And Aaron's sister Miriam the prophetess took a tambourine and the women followed her with tambourines and dancing, and Miriam sang a short song about Yahweh throwing the horse and rider into the sea. All of this must have been music to Yahweh's ears.
Then Moses led Israel from the Red Sea (either what was then near a narrow northern terminus of the Red Sea, or alternatively, an area known as the Reed Sea), and they went out into the Desert of Shur. They walked for three days without finding water. And when they came to Marah, they could not drink the water because it was bitter.
The people grumbled against Moses, and Moses cried out to Yahweh, and Yahweh showed him a tree. Moses cast it into the waters, and they were sweetened.
They found the water and tried drinking it in late afternoon or evening, after algae had made it alkaline by taking up CO2 in photosynthesis during sunlight hours. Moses threw the tree in, and the acidity of the log or fruit lowered the pH value to make the water more palatable. After sundown, the algae switched over to cellular respiration, releasing CO2, also lowering the pH value without Moses having to throw in any more logs. To the Israelites, the improvement in taste was all the work of Yahweh, Moses, and the throwing of the log.
Then Yahweh made an ordinance and a statute for the people, and said that if they obeyed him and kept his statutes he would not bring on them any of the diseases he inflicted on the Egyptians.
So they had to mutilate themselves, observe a preposterous custom about a "Passover", and now there would be more statutes they had to obey. The deal was great for Yahweh, but increasingly bad for the people. Couldn't they simply act smartly and bring their own luck and prosperity upon themselves like everyone else on the Earth, rather than having to sell their soul to a devil to be in his favor, and be despised by everyone else as a result? Why didn't they have enough common sense to understand that a god would not have asked them to mutilate their baby boys?
They came to Elim, where there were twelve springs of water and seventy palm trees, and they camped there by the waters.
Then all the sons of Israel journeyed on and they came to the Wilderness of Sin, which is between Elim and Sinai. This was on the 15th day of the second month after departing from Egypt.
And the whole assembly of the sons of Israel began murmuring against Moses and Aaron in the wilderness. They said, "If only we had died by the hand of Yahweh in the land of Egypt, when we sat by the pots of meat, when we ate bread to the full, for you have brought us out into this wilderness to slaughter the whole assembly with hunger."
Then Yahweh told Moses that he would rain bread from the skies for them, and the people should go out and gather one day's portion each day, so that he could test them to see if they would comply with his law. And on the sixth day they should prepare what they brought in, and it should be twice the normal daily gathering.
And Moses and Aaron said to the sons of Israel that in the evening they would know that Yahweh had brought them out of the land of Egypt. In the morning they would see the magnificent splendor of Yahweh, because he heard their murmurings against him. Moses said that Yahweh would give them flesh to eat in the evening and bread to the full in the morning.
Then Moses told Aaron to say to all the assembly of the sons of Israel, "Come before Yahweh, for He has been hearing your murmurings."
And as Aaron was speaking to the whole assembly of the sons of Israel, they looked towards the wilderness, and the magnificent splendor of Yahweh appeared in a cloud.
Here Yahweh was using his hologram projector, and the enlarged footage of him showed how it appeared when he was descending, and throwing off some of his electrical charge in the form of sparks that could be seen rising from his head, hence the "magnificent splendor".
And Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying, "I have heard the murmurings of the sons of Israel. Speak to them, saying, 'In the evening you shall eat flesh, and in the morning you will be filled with bread, and you will know that I am Yahweh your Elohim'."
Yahweh - or his A.I. Large Language Models - had temporarily forgotten that there is a pesky little thing called causality, and cause is supposed to precede effect in the narrative. Firstly, he had only told Moses about raining bread from the skies. Then Moses told the people that Yahweh would give them flesh to eat in the evening and bread in the morning. Then Yahweh told Moses to tell the people about both having flesh in the evening and bread in the morning. The correct order has the third event moved back to replace the first event, thereby preceding the second event.
In the evening quails came up and covered the camp, and in the morning dew lay all around the camp. When that dew evaporated, there was a fine flaky substance, rather resembling hoar frost. When the sons of Israel saw it they did not know what it was, and they said, "This is manna".
Moses told them that it was the bread that Yahweh had given them to eat, and Yahweh had commanded that every man must gather from it according to what he eats, and each man must gather according to the head count in his tents.
Now the quails, whose meat is reputedly delicious, had been on a migration path traveling north, from Africa to Europe, for it was spring. They were navigating by the guidance of the Earth's magnetic field, which they could sense - or even 'see' - thanks to proteins in their retina known as cryptochromes, that enable them to sense magnetic fields. If traveling north, they would have a darker area at the bottom of their field of vision, which would veer round to the left if they began turning to the east, for example.
Over the Sinai Peninsula, the Earth's magnetic field is around 39 to 44 µT, and with altitude there is a small decrease in value.
Enter Yahweh, who is quite a force when it comes to electromagnetism. Based on his achievements so far, it would be simpler for him to create a wind that would blow the birds off course, and then, tiring, they would land or be within a few feet of the ground as they try to get their bearings. But that is rather hit and miss; he wants to steer them more accurately.
In fact, Yahweh created some artificial magnetic fields of about 100 µT and up, several times the Earth's field, that would divert the birds to his target destination - where the Israelites were camped.
Yahweh's spacecraft had a 1km radius superconducting loop, but it was not practicable to move the ship down to low altitude. However, he had the 130 "workhorse" 53-tonne drones, and the ten heavier shuttle drones, and it was the 130 lighter drones that would be used to steer the quails where he wanted them. The ten shuttle drones were initially used as scouts to find the quails, and then the 130 others took over.
The magnetic field (B) at a distance z along the axis of a single circular loop of radius R carrying current I is given by:

...where B(z) is the magnetic field B (T) at the distance z (m), µ0 is the permeability of free space 4π x 10-7 (H/m), I is the current along the loop (A), and R is the radius of the loop (m).
The current I through each drone's superconducting loop was set to 422 kA, the loop radius R was the 20m radius of the drone, and plugging in those values as above obtains 100 µT at a distance z of 100m.
At the low magnetic fields of well under 1T, they were able to get a critical current density of 1010 A/m2, with magnesium diboride, and the design of a 0.000422 m2 superconductor cross-section allowed for maximum current of 4.22 MA, in which case the field B(z) at 100m would be ten times higher at 0.001T, which could be used in applications such as planets with a higher magnetic field. The loop circumference was 125.7m, the volume was 0.05304 m3, and at 2,570 kg/m3 the mass was 136 kg, still quite low compared to the drone mass.
The loop inductance L is given by:
L = μ0.R(ln(8R/r) - 2)
...where μ0 is the magnetic permeability of free space 4π x 10-7 H/m, R is the loop radius of 20m and r is the conductor radius of 0.01159m. And so the loop inductance was 189 μH.
The stored energy U is given by:
U = ½.L.I2
...where L is the loop inductance as calculated above and I is the current of 4.22x105A. Thus, the stored energy U is ~16.8 MJ, quite trivial by Hellian Type II standards, and easily supplied from supercapacitor storage. And this is only a one-off cost, since the current continues to flow around the superconducting loop.
The shuttle drones were used as scouts, to locate the quails. From their 18.8 GJ supercapacitor storage, the heavier shuttle drones with wings extended could fly for ~215km, assuming no payload such as chalk dust or seawater.
The quails' maximum flying speed was 60 km/hr or 16.67 m/s, and on this occasion were cruising at 14 m/s, at very low altitude. The workhorse drones' ideal cruising speed at sea level was 20.87 m/s, at which induced drag equaled parasitic drag, and they could fly for up to 400km with no load. When flying alongside the quails, at 14 m/s, the induced drag was 49,674N and the parasitic drag was 10,084N, a total of 59,758N. Given the gravitational potential of ~ 78 MJ at 150m, their range at 14 m/s was (18.8 - 0.078) GJ / 59,758N = 313km.
The drones flew at 100m above the quails' 50m altitude. There were 40 at the front to 'steer' the birds with a north pole 'attractive' field, 40 at the back to produce a repulsive south pole, and 25 at each side to produce a weaker south pole as a repulsive field.
With their 120m wingspan, the drones would have had to have been spaced more than 120m apart if at the same altitude and horizontal position in the direction of flight. However, they were staggered in both altitude and horizontal position. The closest drone would be about 100m from the birds, and the magnetic fields added constructively, so that a region of enhanced field extended over a wide volume. They used active noise cancellation and holographic cloaking, so that the drones would appear as sky or clouds.
So the drones guided the quails, tricking them with an artificial magnetic gradient, and steered them down to where the Israelites were camping in the Wilderness of Sin.
Then the next morning, after the quails of the previous evening, the "manna" was found to have landed on the ground - sent from "heaven", or more precisely, Yahweh's mothership.
He had conceived his "manna" scheme years prior to this, and for months robots had been going out collecting plants infested with aphids and scale insects. These had been taken up to the ship in several shuttle drones, and a hydroponic garden was set up in the ship to harvest the honeydew excretion of the 'pests'. When the time was ready, the garden was taken down in one of the shuttle drones, and then some of this would be dropped each night for Yahweh's servants to gather up as their staple diet.
Yahweh told Moses to tell the people that the "manna" could not be left for too long; if left out in the sun it would melt, or if left for too long it would become infested with maggots and start to smell.
Yahweh also imposed an arbitrary rule - that none of the "manna" would be found on the Sabbath, and so they had to collect it for six days but collect twice the regular daily quota on the sixth day. Then they must bake or boil whatever they wanted that day, but leave the remainder for the Sabbath.
Moses told them this, but some of the people still went out looking for their honeydew on the Sabbath. They found nothing, which was not surprising as Yahweh and his robots had not done the drop on their "day of rest".
Then having seen that, Yahweh called Moses and said, "How long will you refuse to keep My commandments and instructions? Understand that Yahweh has given you the Sabbath, which is why on the sixth day He will give you bread for two days. On the seventh day, everyone must stay where he is and not leave his place."
So the people rested on the seventh day.
Moses told Aaron to take a jar and fill it with an omer of "manna", and lay it out before Yahweh. It would then be preserved for the generations to come, so that they could see the 'bread' that the Israelites ate in the wilderness whilst they were brought out of the land of Egypt. And according to Yahweh, Aaron laid it out in front of the Ark of the Testimony, or the covenant tablet or document (depending on translation), to be preserved.
Unfortunately, Yahweh had become confused over his timeline, and had forgotten that, not only had the Ark of the Testimony not yet been built, he had not yet even asked anybody to build it. Similarly, because there was no Ark of the Testimony or Tent of Meeting, there was no Most Holy Place in a Tent of Meeting where an object could be laid out "before Yahweh". And he had not yet given Moses any stone tablets. Quite probably, Yahweh would have made this same type of error with any inhabited planet that he tried to ruin.
In all, the Israelites are said to have eaten the manna for forty years, until they reached the border with Canaan where they could settle. Now forty years would be a long time for people to be wandering in the desert. However, Yahweh did have a motive to keep them reliant on the manna for years, so that they would feel dependent on him.
Then the sons of Israel pitched camp at Rephidim, and they saw that there was no water there, so they contended with Moses and said, "Give us water, so that we can drink."
Moses replied, "Why do you chide with me? Why do you put Yahweh to the test?"
And the people thirsted there for water, and they murmured against Moses, and they asked why he had brought them out of Egypt to kill them, their sons and their cattle, with thirst.
So Moses called out to Yahweh, saying, "What shall I do to these people? They're almost ready to stone me."
And Yahweh said, "Go on ahead of the people, and take some of the elders of Israel with you. And take in your hand the staff with which you struck the river. Watch now. I will stand before you there on the rock in Horeb, and you strike the rock and water will come out of it, so that the people can drink."
And Moses carried it out in sight of the elders of Israel. He named the place Massah and Meribah, because the Israelites quarreled, and because they tested Yahweh, asking if he was really in their midst.
With the aid of his drones, Yahweh had located a spring at Horeb, and so Yahweh went there with some of his robots in advance of Moses. They found a suitable rock that they could roll along between them, that would cover the spring, yet was positioned so that even quite a light tap would tip the rock a few inches, so that the water would come out from its base. And so, Yahweh provided the Israelites with another reason to feel that they needed him.
Then the Amalekites came and attacked the Israelites at Rephidim. And Moses said to Joshua, "Choose some men for us and go out to fight with Amalek. Tomorrow I will stand on the top of the hill with the staff in my hand."
So Joshua did as Moses had instructed him, and he fought with Amalek. And Moses, Aaron and Hur went up to the top of the hill. And it came about, that when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed, and when he let down his hand Amalek prevailed.
But Moses' hand became heavy, and so they took a stone and set it beneath him, and he sat on it, and Aaron and Hur held up his hands, one on the one side and the other on the other side, and his hands were steady until sunset. And Joshua defeated Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword.
As with his other tricks, the 'magical' staff - and in this case Moses' hands needing to be held up - was simply theater and Yahweh having some fun with making his servants appreciate how they were relying on him. Yahweh's 'locust' drones provided him with a close-up view of whenever Moses' hands were up or down, and how the two sides were positioned beneath his drone, which had its cloud hologram beneath it.
When Moses' hands were up, Yahweh would target the Amaleks with a non-lethal direct energy beam to disrupt their brainwaves, for example, by transmitting a pulsed 7Hz theta wave to induce trance-like states, drowsiness and slowed reactions. He would have enjoyed experimenting with other frequencies, such as 2Hz delta waves to cause sudden fatigue or even microsleeps in the midst of battle, and pulsed 300MHz to 3 GHz microwaves to generate phantom sounds inside the skull such as 'voices' and ringing.
This same situation, of Yahweh's Chosen People being inferior fighters but prevailing thanks to help, either from Yahweh or his mindless minions, would continue to play out numerous times for thousands of years.
Even as much as 3,500 years later, the settler-rulers of an illegitimate, genocidal, terrorist, apartheid, racist, supremacist occupation State that flouted international law with impunity, after having stolen other people's lands on the basis of a grotesque, malicious, colossal libel about 'gas chambers', would be conducting an ethnic cleansing operation, with the aid of arms and funding provided by a puppet satellite State on the other side of the ocean that had been hit by a comet in 10,835 BC, and tens of thousands of unarmed women and children of the native population were massacred, as their tents, homes, hospitals, schools, mosques and churches were targeted and blasted into smithereens by 2,000lb bombs including bunker bombs.
The occupiers, the cowardly mass murderers sitting comfortably in some safe room pressing a button and laughing inanely with glee as they watched on a screen to see their missiles strike the targets, and to hear the terrified screams and wailing of their prey when posted on social media, would never have been able to prevail in a fair fight, if they weren't being aided and abetted by the hundreds of millions-strong puppet state, that was totally controlled by Yahweh's followers who ran the media, the banks, gigantic lobbying outlets, and by extension, the government, and to such extent that support of Yahweh was a necessary qualification to being part of an administration.
And the crazy thing was that anyone who did not support the genocide, ethnic cleansing and terrorism - anyone who had normal human values and understood the difference between right and wrong, would themselves be accused of "terrorism", "racism", "bigotry", "antisemitism", or fabricated sex crimes, in a perverted inversion of reality, in which the psychopaths, haters, bigots, racists, pedophiles, terrorists and mass murderers would project their own crimes onto those who were calling them out.
Then Yahweh said to Moses, "Write this as a memorial in the Book, and repeat it in the ears of Joshua, for I will utterly blot out the remembrance of Amalek from underneath the heavens."
This was a lie from Yahweh on several levels, but it does tell us about his wish to utterly wipe out all of those human beings who did not grovel to him. Amalek would still be known and talked about thousands of years later. And of course, Moses did not write the Book. He was not able to write about how he was buried in a valley in the land of Moab opposite Beth Peor, or how the Israelites wept for him for 30 days, and he wasn't able to write Yahweh's fake claims about having supposedly 'created' the Earth in six days, etc.. Yahweh recorded his narrative, and the final write-up of his scriptures was performed by his LLM machines.
Moses built an altar and he called it Yahweh Nissi, for he said, "A hand is on the throne of Yah. The war of Yahweh against Amalek will be from generation to generation."
If Amalek is defined as normal humans who hadn't been duped into serving as Yahweh's useful idiots, then that was a truthful comment.
Jethro, the priest of Midian and father-in-law of Moses, heard of everything Yahweh had done for Moses and that he had brought Israel out of Egypt. Then Jethro took Zipporah, Moses' wife, and her two sons Gershom and Eliezer, and went with them to Moses in the wilderness, where he camped at the Mountain of Elohim.
Moses told his father-in-law about everything Yahweh had done to the Egyptians and their king for Israel's sake, and about the hardships along their way and how Yahweh had delivered for them. No! Yahweh was delivering everything for himself, for his own gratification and his own perverted, demonic plan to sabotage Earth's civilization, and he needed to groom his band of saboteurs and provide them with an unfair advantage.
Jethro said how good he believed Yahweh was, and he took a burnt offering and sacrifices for his Elohim, and Aaron and the elders of Israel came to eat bread with Moses' father-in-law before Elohim.
Then the next day Moses sat to judge the people, and the people stood around Moses, morning and evening. And then Moses' father-in-law asked him why did he sit by himself and the people stand around him all day, and what was he doing for the people.
Moses said to his father-in-law, "Because the people come to me to enquire of Elohim. When they have a controversy they come to me, and I judge between the parties, and I make known the statutes of Elohim and his laws."
And the father-in-law told him it was not a good thing that he was doing, since he would surely wear himself out. Instead, Moses should teach the people decrees and laws, show them the way they must walk, and show them the work they must do. Then he should provide able men who revere Elohim, men of truth - which is rather an oxymoron, and place over them rulers of thousands, hundreds, fifties and so on, and let them judge every small case, and the large cases should be brought to Moses to judge, so that they would share the burden.
So Moses did as his father-in-law suggested, and chose able men out of all Israel, whom he made rulers of thousands, hundreds, fifties and tens, and they judged the people and handled the small cases themselves. Then the hard cases they brought to Moses.
Then Moses' father-in-law went and departed, back to his own land.
In the third month when the sons of Israel had gone out of the land of Egypt, that same day they came into the wilderness of Sinai. They had departed from Rephidim, come to the Wilderness of Sinai, and they pitched camp in the wilderness, facing the mountain.
Moses went up to Elohim, and Yahweh called him out of the mountain, saying, "You shall say this to the house of Jacob, and tell the sons of Israel: 'You have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and I carried you on the wings of eagles and brought you to Myself. Now, therefore, if you will truly obey My voice and keep My Covenant, then you will be a treasure acquired for my own possession above all nations, for all the Earth is Mine. And you will be to Me a kingdom of priests, and a nation set apart.' You shall speak these words to the sons of Israel."
There was quite a lot of truth in what the insufferable Yahweh said there. He had indeed done a great deal of harm to the Egyptians. He had put a very great investment into setting up Abram and his not-so-bright descendants as his willing servants, who really were to him "a treasure acquired for [his] own possession", and obviously worth much more to him for his sabotage and subversion plans than the other nations that he wanted to conquer against their will.
They would be for him a kingdom of proselytizers, advocates for humans to follow anti-human policies, which thousands of years hence would manifest itself as "net zero carbon" and other pseudoscientific claptrap. And his Chosen People truly would be a "nation set apart", for they would be so abhorrent as parasites and destroyers of other people's civilizations that they would be kicked out of just about every country that ever made the grave mistake of allowing them entry.
And at this point in time, around 1400 BC, the other Hellian visitors, the delegation in their antimatter ships, were long gone. They had already gone before Yahweh arrived in 2050 BC, after they had constructed the pyramids and some other monuments, and were unaware that Yahweh, a mentally deranged member of their civilization, had been wreaking havoc on Earth, and the ramifications of his dreams of grandeur and acts of malice would take thousands of years to play out. Even as a Type II civilization, the best telescopes on Hell could not resolve the finer details of any of Yahweh's acts on Earth, such as creating a thunderstorm. And they knew that if the teenage kid who won the deuterium/helium3 powered ship to go to Earth was still there, he would be able to hitch a lift with someone else in another spacecraft.
Although some Hellians were faraway from Hell and closer to the Earth, there had not been time for anyone to receive signals from Earth and take an interstellar voyage to Earth.
So yes, at that point, Yahweh was the most powerful being on the Earth, and it was not unreasonable for him to declare that all the Earth was his. Although he could only control the behavior of a tiny minority of humans, this minority would do damage wildly disproportionate to their number.
Then Moses called for the elders of the people, and he told them the words that Yahweh had commanded him. And they all answered in unison and said that they would do everything Yahweh had said. Then Moses went back to Yahweh to tell him of the people's reply.
Yahweh said that he would come to Moses in a thunderhead of cloud, so that the people might hear when he spoke with Moses, and would believe him - and in Yahweh - throughout the eon. Then Moses told him that the people had agreed to do everything he said.
Yahweh told Moses to go to the people and prepare them that day and the morrow, and let them wash their clothes and be ready for the third day, when Yahweh would come down in sight of all the people on Mount Sinai. And Moses must set boundaries for the people, saying to them, "Take care for yourselves going up into the mountain and concerning its border. Whoever touches the mountain shall surely be put to death. Not a hand shall touch him. He shall, though, surely be stoned or pierced through. Whether animal or man, he shall not live."
And Yahweh said that at the long blast of the ram's horn, they should come up to the mountain.
Then Moses went down from the mountain to the people, and he prepared them and they washed their clothes. He said to them, "Be ready for the third day. Do not approach a woman."
On the third day in the morning there were thunderclaps and lightning flashes, and a thick cloud on the mountain, and the sound of the ram's horn, exceedingly loud so that all the people in the camp trembled.
And Moses brought the people out of the camp to meet with Elohim, and they stood at the lower part of the mountain. And all of Mount Sinai was smoking, because Yahweh descended on it in fire, and the smoke ascended like the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mountain quaked violently.
When the blast of the ram's horn sounded long and grew increasingly louder, Moses spoke, and Elohim answered him by voice. Yahweh came down on Mount Sinai at the top of the mountain, and Yahweh called Moses to the top of the mountain, and Moses climbed up.
And Yahweh told Moses to go down and make sure that the people did not break through to gaze at Yahweh, in which case many of them would perish. And the priests who approached Yahweh must cleanse themselves, in case Yahweh destroyed them.
Moses replied that the people could not come up to Mount Sinai, for they had been told to observe the boundaries around the mountain, and to set it apart.
Yahweh was not convinced that the people had been sufficiently warned of the dangers, and he told Moses to go back down, and then come back up with Aaron, but they must not let the priests or the people break through to come up to Yahweh, in case he broke out against them. So Moses went down to the people, and spoke to them to make sure they would not break through.
Yahweh's 7.07C negatively charged levitation device had been employed to allow him to make his descent from one of his solar-powered drones, which was above the cloud hologram, and he was using active shielding to protect Moses and Aaron from what would otherwise be a massive electric field that at close range would kill them in an instant.
He wanted to keep the field propagating in some directions to maintain the spectacle of thunder and lightning effects. It was quite straightforward to have the shielding directed at one or two people, but harder to guarantee that others who might be climbing up at random sides of the mountain would be spared from his "strange fire".
Now the elevation of Mount Sinai is 2,285m above sea level, but climbers could get to within some 200m of the summit before getting onto the steeper paths. The electric field E in V/m at various distances from Yahweh's charge is given by:

For a gradual, slow descent, Yahweh's charge would have been around 7.1C (the height of the mountain makes zero difference, since Earth's gravity attenuates according to the same inverse square law as its electrical field).
At 1m separation the unshielded electrical field is 64 GV/m, lethal for biological carbon-based life such as humans, with cellular disintegration and burns.
At 10m separation the unshielded electrical field is 640 MV/m, and certainly lethal for many people with heart failure and severe nerve damage.
At 100m the unshielded electrical field is 6.4 MV/m, which would cause muscle spasms and unconsciousness, not great for people climbing a mountain.
At 1km the unshielded electrical field is 64 kV/m; there would be tingling skin and hair standing up on end.
Yahweh didn't want to risk death or injury to any priests or people breaking through, even at around 100m to 200m. He wanted a grand spectacle, but if random people were being killed or seriously hurt just for trying to get a closer look at him, it would not present him in a good light.
Then Yahweh boomed out a long speech setting out his "Ten Commandments". He was relaying it to his drone above the hologram thundercloud, to be broadcast via a powerful amplifier and parametric speakers, that were blasting the sound of the ram's horn.
Yahweh started by saying, "I am Yahweh your Elohim Who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. There shall not be any other Elohim for you apart from Me."
This was his "First" Commandment. And the Second was an extension of the first, but bizarrely prohibited art and sculpture because of Yahweh's jealousy and insecurities.
"You shall not make for yourself any carved image, nor any likeness of anything in the Heavens above, nor in the Earth beneath, nor in the water under the Earth. You shall not bow yourself down to them, nor serve them, for I, Yahweh your Elohim, am a jealous El, charging the iniquity of the fathers on the sons on the third and fourth generation of those who hate Me, and showing kindness to thousands of those who love Me and keep My commandments."
These followers of Yahweh had already mutilated themselves, and were obliged to perform other nonsensical rituals such as eating unleavened bread for seven days at a particular time of year, and refraining from doing certain tasks on a particular day of the week. Now they were banned from doing art or sculpture, all in the hope of somehow getting lucky.
And if someone's great-grandfather had understandably taken rather a dislike to Yahweh and his machinations and dealing out death and destruction, then that descendant was somehow responsible for the alleged 'crime' of his ancestor. Moreover, no self-respecting person would want to be a recipient of Yahweh's 'kindness'.
The only understandable part about how a group of people could be so foolish is that Yahweh was the only such powerful being, from a Type II civilization, operating on the Earth at that particular time. And it was just so unfortunate that he happened to be part of a tiny minority of Type II people who had a screw loose.
Yahweh continued with his Third Commandment, "You shall not take the name of Yahweh your Elohim in vain, for Yahweh will not consider guiltless him who takes His name in vain."
Yahweh's narcissism was so overwhelming that he, as a Type II civilization Hellian being, could not bear to have any talking ape-like creatures on a faraway planet criticize him in the slightest way, have his name used as a profanity, or have anyone fail to show him all the massive respect that he erroneously felt he deserved.
His Fourth Commandment was reiterating his decree that his servants should not perform any work on the day he called the "Sabbath", and the point of this was to bolster Yahweh's false claim to have "made" the heavens, the Earth, the sea, and everything in them in six days, and to have rested on the seventh day.
His final commandments were rather less arbitrary, and aimed at reinforcing the narrative that he was a 'god' rather than a devil. He chose these commandments from a shortlist generated by his AIs in response to the prompt, "Name some examples of commandments that a god might order."
His Fifth Commandment was for the followers to honor their father and mother. His Sixth Commandment was to refrain from murder. However, it would come to pass that, far from keeping this commandment, his followers would apply it selectively, and when it came to humans who did not support Yahweh, his followers would actively try to kill or harm as many of those as they could, and they would take exceedingly great pleasure in doing so.
Yahweh's Seventh Commandment prohibited adultery. His Eighth Commandment prohibited theft. His Ninth Commandment prohibited bringing false witness against a neighbor. All of these were regularly flouted.
Yahweh's final and Tenth Commandment prohibiting "coveting" of a neighbor's house, or wife, or manservant, or maidservant, or ox, or donkey, or any other possession of the neighbor's. The self-confessed "jealous" "El" showed himself to be a hypocrite.
All the Israelites witnessed the thunder, lightning, the sound of the ram's horn, and the mountain smoking, and this made them tremble and withdraw to a safe distance. They said to Moses, "Speak with us and we will hear, but do not let Elohim speak with us, in case we die."
Moses said, "Do not fear, for Elohim has come to test you, and so that fear of you might be on your faces, in order that you do not sin."
The people stood far off, and Moses climbed to approach the thick cloud where Elohim was.
Now Yahweh was employing a directed energy beam from another drone to target parts of the mountain to cause smoking. This was the drone with the upgraded DE weapon that ran from D/He3 fusion fuel rather than supercapacitors.
And this would only need brief pulses separated by relatively long intervals, and a focused beam, but lower intensity than he had used for some of his other tricks. If he had boosted his negative charge well above 7C, he could get more smoky cloud effects, but these would be too localized, and he would need to find some way of reliably anchoring himself to the ground or to a large rock. And even at 1km some people might get muscle spasms and unconsciousness.
Yahweh told Moses to tell the sons of Israel that they had seen how he had talked to them from the heavens, that they should not make gods of silver or gods of gold, but they should make an altar of earth for Yahweh, and on it they should sacrifice their burnt offerings, their peace offerings, their sheep and their oxen. They should remember that in every place where he made his name, he would come and bless them. And if they made him an altar of stone it must not be from cut stone, since the use of tools would defile it. And they must not ascend by steps to his altar, so that their nakedness might not be uncovered on it.
Then Yahweh set out a list of civil and moral laws, dictating even more terms and conditions that a servant of Yahweh must follow. For example, if they bought a Hebrew servant then he must serve for six years, and in the seventh he would be allowed to go free, without payment. If he came in by himself, he would depart by himself. If he was married, then his wife would depart with him. If his master had given him a wife and she had borne him sons and daughters, then the wife and sons would be the property of the master, and the servant must depart by himself.
This was partly about reinforcing Yahweh's claim to have built the Earth, heavens and seas, etc., in six days.
But if, after six years, a servant said, "I love my master, my wife and my sons; I will not depart free", then his master shall bring him to the judges. He must also bring him to the door, or to the doorpost, and his master shall pierce his ear through with an awl, and he shall serve him for life.
It would come to pass that a certain US president, a servant of Yahweh's followers, and seeking election for a second term, would be involved in a bizarre fake 'assassination' scam involving the firing of a gun, the president dropping to the ground and putting two fingers inside his shoe, and then running two fingers to smear two streaks of the tomato ketchup along his face in a highly implausible claim about a bullet just nicking his ear, with a 'wound' that was totally healed after barely more than a week.
The presidential candidate was confirming that he loved to serve his masters, and the 'ear piercing', albeit merely symbolic, was to show that he would willingly serve his masters until the day he died. And the fake 'failed' 'assassination' 'attempts' would continue to be staged, sometimes on an almost weekly basis.
There were quite a few cases where a Yahweh flunky should be put to death, such as if they cursed their father or mother. But if a man struck his servant or his maid with a staff, and the servant or maid survived for a day or two before dying, the man would not be punished for it was his property. Yahweh didn't even have the morals of an alley cat.
If a man struck the eye of a servant or maid and the eye was destroyed, then they would be allowed to go free on account of the eye. This would also apply if a tooth was knocked out.
If a thief was caught breaking in and was killed, there should be no blood for him. But if it happened after sunrise, then blood should be shed for him.
Not surprisingly, Yahweh had a rule that anybody who sacrifices to a god other than Yahweh should be utterly destroyed.
There was a rule that the followers must not exploit or oppress a stranger or foreigner, since the followers were once strangers or foreigners in the land of Egypt. This rule certainly did not apply when Yahweh's followers illegally and illegitimately stole another people's land in the Middle East and set up a genocidal, apartheid, terrorist State.
Another rule stated that the Yahweh follower, if lending out money to a co-religionist, must not be a usurer to him, and should not charge interest against him. However, it would come to pass that those who did not support Yahweh would be ripped off excessively, in every possible way.
There was a rule prohibiting acceptance of bribes. It would come to pass that these Yahweh followers would not only accept bribes, they would become the master of dishing out bribes - from money they had stolen from the people by means of various chicanery.
Then Yahweh said to Moses, "Come up to Yahweh, you, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel, and worship from far off. And let Moses come near by himself to Yahweh, but they shall not come near, nor shall the people go up with him."
Yahweh also claimed in his scriptures that Moses went and wrote down all of Yahweh's words, after having told the people all of the words. No! How could Moses be expected to remember all those words in the Sinai Covenant, such as what happens when one man's ox kills another man's ox, or what happens if one man's animal feeds from another man's field? And why would he tell the people all the words and then write them down? Moses even admitted that he wasn't a man of words.
It wasn't Moses who wrote down all the words. Yahweh wanted to convey all of his words to all of the Israelites. So he had them printed onto stone tablets.
The way this actually played out is that some of the initial laws read out by Yahweh for his Sinai Covenant were scrapped following negotiations, and redacted from his scriptures.
Moses kept going up and down the mountain because there was some negotiation over what the people could be expected to agree to. The whole point of the others going part way up, but remaining at a safe distance, was that Yahweh could present various ideas to Moses, and Moses would find out the elders' views on them without having to keep going right down back to the camp.
Yahweh didn't mind if a few of his idiosyncratic ideas were rejected, as long as many of them remained in the final Sinai Covenant. So when everything was agreed, the Covenant was printed up in Yahweh's spacecraft, Moses took it down to read to the people for them to accept it and perform the ceremony with the blood. Then Moses spent forty days on the mountain being educated on all the details, and then he took down the stone tablets. They had the Book of the Covenant and the stone tablets as a written record, rather than relying on an oral tradition.
As often happens, Yahweh and his AI text generators got the sequence of events mixed up, so that events are not all in chronological order. But here this was deliberately done to add some mystery and confusion, to avoid Yahweh having to admit that negotiations had taken place. If there were no negotiations Yahweh could have just given Moses the complete stone tablets with everything written on straight after his ram's horn thundercloud display.
After delivering his long list of laws, which were barely better than anything that could be generated by a primitive computer with a 2MHz clock speed and 8K of RAM, Yahweh announced that he would send an "Angel" ahead of them to guard them along the way, and to bring them to the place that Yahweh had prepared. They must pay heed to the angel and obey his voice, and not provoke him, otherwise it would not go well for them.
Provided they carried out all of Yahweh's commands, then he would be an enemy to their enemies, he would take sickness and infertility away from his people, and he would send the "terror" of himself ahead of them, and would confound their enemies, and send hornets ahead to drive out the Hivites, the Canaanites and the Hittites from before them.
Yahweh was particularly concerned that his dupes did not bow down to the other people's gods. He had made such a large investment in them, but he was only going to use the same technology that he had already tested and put to use. His nanobots would enter people whilst they slept, would make the barren conceive, would perform various cellular repairs, and his transmitters would beam frequencies at the other tribes to confuse, tire and terrorize the unbelievers. He would use his dream transmitters to induce nightmares whilst they slept. He might even find a swarm of hornets to blow onto the unbelievers, as he had done with his locusts plague on the Egyptians.
It was all about using Type II technology and energy to boost one tiny minority group at the expense of the vast majority.
Moses rose early in the morning and built an altar at the foot of the mountain, and twelve pillars to represent the twelve tribes of Israel. And he sent young men from the sons of Israel who offered burnt offerings and he sacrificed peace offerings of bullocks to Yahweh.
Moses took half of the blood and put it in bowls, and half he sprinkled on the altar.
And he took the Book of the Covenant and read it out in the audience of the people, and they answered in unison and said they would obey and carry out everything that Yahweh had said.
Moses took the blood and sprinkled on the people, and said. "Consider now the blood of the Covenant that Yahweh has made with you concerning all these words.
Then Moses climbed up the mountain, with Aaron, Nadab, Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel. And they saw Elohim of Israel, and under his feet there was a paved work of sapphire stone, as clear as the skies. But Elohim did not stretch out his hand to the elders, and they saw him, and they ate and drank.
In this case Yahweh had a hologram projection of himself, with the words of the Covenant beneath his feet. This was just for show, to impress the elders; Yahweh did not regard them as important enough to send a biological avatar complete with detachable orbs for any handshakes.
And Yahweh said to Moses, "Come up to Me into the mountain and I will be there, and I will give you tablets of stone and the law, and the commandments that I have written, so that you might teach them.
Then Moses and his assistant Joshua rose up, and Moses went up into the mountain of Elohim, and he said to the elders, "Wait here for us until we come back to you. And Aaron and Hur are with you. If any man has any legal matters, let him come to them."
And Moses went up into the mountain, and the cloud covered the mountain, and the magnificent splendor of Yahweh rested on the mountain. and the cloud covered it for six days. On the seventh day, Yahweh called to Moses out of the midst of the cloud. To the sons of Israel, the sight of the magnificent splendor of Yahweh was like devouring fire on the top of the mountain.
Then Moses went up into the midst of the cloud, up into the mountain, and Moses was up in the mountain for 40 days and 40 nights.
First the negotiations were done, then Moses was given the Book of the Covenant to read to the people for them to accept it and perform the ceremony with the blood, then Moses went up to Yahweh for more than a month, partly to be educated on the various points of law, but crucially, to be given instructions for a project of Yahweh's aimed at preserving the Commandments and the Law. At the end Moses was given stone tablets to take down with him, and they already had the Book of the Covenant. Moses and the others would be completely unaware that the tablets had a dual purpose...
Whilst Moses was up the mountain Yahweh told him to tell the sons of Israel to bring him a heave offering. It should be accepted from any man who gave it willingly, with his heart. Yahweh asked for gold, silver, bronze, blue, purple, scarlet, fine linen, goats' hair, rams' skins dyed red, badgers' skins, acacia wood, lighting oil, spices for anointing oil and for aromatic incense, onyx stones, and stones to be set in the ephod (apron) and the breastplate.
Greed was certainly one of Yahweh's sins. He told Moses that he needed all this because he wanted the people to make him a Sanctuary so he might live among them. And it turned out that an important part of his new project was the construction of an Ark, sealed by a Mercy Seat lid, and for these he needed gold and acacia wood.
He gave the specifications for the Ark as acacia wood overlaid inside and outside with pure gold. The length was 2½ cubits, and the breadth and height were both 1½ cubits. There should be four rings of gold put into the four corners, and they had to make poles of acacia wood, overlaid with gold, which would be inserted into the rings by the sides, so that the Ark could be carried with them. And the poles should always be in the rings of the Ark, and never taken from it. The Testimony must be placed in the Ark.
Then they had to make the Mercy Seat of pure gold, length 2½ cubits, and breadth 1½ cubits, to serve as the lid of the Ark. And they had to make two keruvim of gold, to go in the two ends of the Mercy Seat. The keruvim had to have wings stretching on high, covering the Mercy Seat with their wings, with their faces towards each other. Yahweh said he would "commune with you from above the Mercy Seat, from between the two keruvim that are on the Ark of the Testimony".
As we shall see below, the total mass of this Ark with the Mercy Seat, plus an additional device that Yahweh would include within it, would amount to some 688kg. However, if carried by four people, it would not feel like each was bearing 172kg; it would feel like it was floating on air, about 0.1m off the ground.
Firstly, the Mercy Seat was pure gold, 1,250mm x 750mm x 20mm = 18,750,000mm3 = 0.01875m3. Given that the density of gold is 19,320 kg/m3, the mass was ~362kg. We could add a little for the keruvim and reduce the thickness slightly to compensate. Yahweh did not record any specified thickness, but it needed to be thick enough to provide a decent Faraday shielding without being too massive.
Now the Ark had two sides that were 750mm x 750mm = 562,500mm2 x 2 = 1,125,000mm2. And there were three sides of 1,250mm x 750mm = 937,500mm2 x 3 = 2,812,500mm2. Thus, the total area for five sides is 3,937,500mm2 = 3.937m2.
Here the likely thickness for the wood is 25mm, and so the volume is 0.0984m3. Taking the density as 800 kg/m3, the mass is 79kg.
The likely gold overlay is 1mm both inside and outside, and so the volume of gold here is 2 x 0.001m x 3.937m2 = 0.00787m3, and the mass is 152kg.
So the total gold is 514kg, and total wood is 79kg, making a total of 593kg so far.
Yahweh's device for antigravity / levitation, which also served as security in that unauthorized access could result in death, consisted of various components all fitted within a small robot. The robot was large enough to contain these components, and small enough to fit inside the 1,250mm by 750mm by 750mm Ark.
The 0.1m radius charge plate was contained within a 0.2m radius vacuum chamber. There was an antimatter system that pumped electrons in to generate the negative charge, and an active shielding system that produced a neutralizing positive field to protect humans at close range, but only to the sides and above; there was normally no protection for those who got underneath when the charge was set up.
These were similar to the levitation devices that the Type II Hellian beings incorporated within their torso, although given the higher mass of the Ark, some components had been upgraded. The vacuum chamber was still 20kg, and the charge plate storage still 5kg, the antimatter reactor system was up from 10kg to 20kg, and the active shielding system was up from 5kg to 20kg. There was also 30kg for the small robot body. Thus, the additional mass for the robot and everything within it is 95kg, bringing the total mass up to 688kg.
But the difference with the Ark was that it routinely used the "painter beam" system for most of its antigravity modes. Rather than rely upon the Earth's natural electric field, in which case the charge in the vacuum sphere would need to be 60.3 Coulombs in the Assisted Carry mode and around 70 Coulombs in Flight Mode, the charges could be much lower, in the milliCoulombs range.
The Ark had four modes: Standby, Assisted Carry, Low Altitude Flight and High Altitude Flight. The latter was energy intensive and to be used sparingly. When not in use, the Ark's charges would be discharged, and quiescent energy drain would be very low. There was a motion sensor, which would not be triggered by minor tremors, but any serious rocking motion such as people trying to lift it with poles would put it into Assisted Carry Mode. The design here was to have the Ark's internal charge at such a level, together with another negative charge "painted" or sprayed on the ground by the painter beam, that its weight would be neutralized at an equilibrium point about 0.1m off the ground.
The holes for the poles were towards the top rather than the bottom, and with the Ark just at 10cm it could clear uneven ground and small rocks. The bearers might have liked a somewhat higher clearance, although the 10cm position was safer for them and with the Ark essentially floating on air, it was very much easier to move in that mode compared to a dead weight of 688kg. But as we shall show, the main reason for the choice of 0.1m rather than 1m, say, was that a 1m equilibrium point would have consumed 10,000 times the energy compared to 0.1m.
Just before the Mercy Seat was to be fixed in place, the robot had managed to clamber in unseen, with an assistant robot placing the Mercy Seat in position. The next job of the human builders was to seal the Mercy Seat to "mercifully" cover the law. And in order to allow the painter beam to operate, the next task of the internal robot was to perform laser ablations with a precisely focused beam. A great number of microscopic holes would be created through the wood and gold plating in the base, so that a huge stream of electrons could flow to the ground under Assisted Carry or Low Altitude Flight modes.
As an example, the painter beam puts a negative charge on a series of 1m radius "pads". If a 6-hr flight has a refresh rate of 14 pads per second, which would correspond to a velocity of 28 m/s and so 1/14th second before traveling 2m to the next pad, then altogether there are 302,400 pads. Now suppose each pad is charged to 132 microCoulombs. From the charge on an electron e of -1.602x10-19 Coulombs, then 132 microCoulombs would need 8.24x1014 electrons, and so the entire flight would need 2.492x1020 electrons, which would mean a mass loss of 2.27x10-10 kg for the flight.
There was also a microphone, constantly awaiting the required voice commands in Hebrew, which would either take it from Assisted Carry into Low Altitude Flight mode, or from Low Altitude Flight to High Altitude Flight, or from Flight mode to landing. For maximum economy, flights would be at an altitude of around 3m, although for a small proportion of a flight the Ark might go up to some 40m in order to clear obstacles.
First the charge product Q_Ark times Q_Ground is calculated for the desired carry or flight altitude, based on the mass, and then the charges are individually optimized. But the optimization for Assisted Carry is different to that for Flight mode. In the latter, it is to minimize the total energy expenditure. It turns out that the total is at a minimum when the painter beam energy expenditure and the energy expended in the charge Q_Ark are equal. The method for finding the optimized charge values was shown in Genesis for the case of a being carrying a heavy stone, but let's see in a moment how it applies in the case of the Ark.
In Assisted Carry, the optimization is for safety purposes. The biggest problem was the very high electric field in the danger cone beneath the Ark, where the painter beam was deployed and there was no active shielding for the Ark's internal charge.
In all of the moving modes, the product of the two charges, Q_Ark and Q_Ground, has to be such that the Fgrav of 688kg x 9.8 N/kg = 6,742N will be neutralized at a height r, which is the desired equilibrium altitude in m, by an Felec equal in amplitude and opposite in sign or direction. (We shall take a general case of g = 9.8 m/s2, although in the Levant where the Ark was originally operating, g was a little lower, and g would be higher at more northerly latitudes.)
For the Assisted Carry mode, with the equilibrium point set to 0.1m above the ground, we have the charge product q1.q2 = Felec . r2 / k, where Felec is the required 6,742N to oppose Fgrav, r is the altitude of 0.1m, and k is the Coulomb constant of 8.988x109 N.m2.C-2.
And so the charge product for 0.1m altitude is 7.501x10-9C2.
If we suppose that the r_Ground, the separation r between a charge and a combustible, is 1mm on the ground when the painter beam hits, and we try various values from 0.01m to 1m for the equilibrium height r_Ark, the distance between the Ark and the ground, it turns out that the minimum value for V_Ground + V_Ark, occurs when V_Ground = V_Ark. And with the safety optimization, Q_Ground always equals 8.66x10-7C, and V_Ground and V_Ark always equal 7.78x109 V/m (7.78 GV/m), so V_Ground + V_Ark = ~15.6 GV/m.
Because of this, additional safety measures were incorporated. Suppose the Ark was to be moved over some combustible such as wood. A few milliseconds before the painter beam was to deposit its charge onto a new "pad" of ground, the Ark (from the robot via the same microholes used to fire the electrons) would scan the area and analyze the molecular composition of the surface, checking for combustibles. If any were detected, the safety protocol would activate.
A cryogenic cooler would flash-freeze the hazardous point or points on the ground in that pad to a temperature well below their ignition point. In the worst case, where the entire 1m radius pad was a combustible, wood for example, suppose the volume to be cooled is a 1mm thickness of a π x (1m)2 patch; thus, the volume is 0.00314m3. Taking a typical density for wood of 700 kg/m3, the mass is 2.2kg. If the specific heat of the wood is 2 kJ/kg.K and we suppose it has to be lowered by 30°C, e.g. from 25°C to -5°C , then the energy to be pulled is 132 kJ. If the cryocooler has a coefficient of performance of 0.1, then the real energy cost is 1.32MJ.
Suppose the Ark was being moved under Assisted Carry at 1 m/s over a period of ten minutes, thus the distance traveled is 600m. If each 1m radius pad is sprayed with the painter beam, 2m apart so that the refresh rate is 0.5Hz, there are 300 refreshes in total, and if the entire 600m consisted of wood underfoot, then the total cost of the cryocooler alone for the journey would be 300 x 1.32MJ = 396MJ.
The computer would be monitoring the energy expenditure, and just occasional use of the cryocooler would be permitted, but if the hazard density became too high the computer would regard the operation as too wasteful, and so the Ark would go back into Standby mode.
In order to find the optimal value for Q_Ark that will minimize the total electric field from Q_Ground and Q_Ark, a function is developed whereby the total electric field on the ground is expressed in terms of Q_Ark, and then the derivative is found and set to zero.
So as mentioned above, we take r_Ground as fixed at 1mm and try different values for the altitude or equilibrium point r_Ark. Now because the product Q_Ark x Q_Ground = Felec x r_Ark2 / k, we have:

So for some particular equilibrium height, a particular charge product is needed, and the combinations shown above balance the electric field from each on the ground, so that the total field is at a minimum. We see that for various heights, Q_Ground, E_Ground and E_Ark remain unchanged, and the only difference is that higher heights need a higher Q_Ark, which means a higher energy cost.
In Assisted Carry, with the configuration optimized for safety rather than minimizing energy costs, there is an imbalance in that most of the energy cost is used to charge Q_Ark rather than Q_Ground. For example, at r_Ark = 1m, Q_Ark = 0.866C and the stored energy is ½ x Q_Ark2 / 1.11x10-11F = 3.38x1010J.
Unfortunately, this was not recoverable. The robot body incorporated some 10 kg of graphene-enhanced structural supercapacitors, and at 0.5 MJ/kg they could store ~5MJ, but that was a negligible proportion of the energy involved. Another problem is the tremendous voltage mismatch between the charge globes, which at 0.866C and 1.11x10-11F amounts to 78 GV, and the supercapacitors, which typically handle around 50 kV.
At r_Ark = 0.1m, Q_Ark = 0.00866C or 8.66 milliCoulombs, and the energy stored is ½ x Q_Ark2 / 1.11x10-11F = 3.38x106J. And so the energy expenditure for Q_Ark is 3.38 MJ, which is a 10,000x saving over the 1m option. The voltage is 0.00866C / 1.11x10-11F = 780 MV.
They could have upgraded the design to recover some 85% of this. However, they chose not to. This was only a few MJ, and it would have needed another 2 kg or so of components to step down the voltage, as 780 MV was still too high for the supercapacitors.
For all these Assisted Carry operations, Q_Ground is set to 8.66x10-7C. The energy for each "pad" of the painter beam is U = ½ x Q_Ground2 / C_Ground. For C_Ground, the charged ground area is treated as a 1m radius conductive disc, where the capacitance is C = 8 x ε0 x r, where ε0 is the vacuum permittivity constant of 8.854x10-12 F/m, and r is the radius of 1m, and so we take C_Ground as 7.08x10-11F. Thus, we have U = 0.00530J.
This is the energy per pad, E_Pad, and in this case of the Ark being moved in the Assisted Carry mode at 0.1m off the ground, at a speed of 1 m/s, over a time of ten minutes, so that the distance traveled is 600m, the painter beam refresh rate is 0.5Hz since it takes two seconds to move from one 1m radius disc pad to the next. And so the painter beam power output is 0.00530J x 0.5Hz = 0.00265W, which over 600 seconds is a total of 1.59J. Alternatively, it can be considered as 300 1m radius pads fitting over the 600m distance, confirming the total energy at 5.3 milliWatts x 300 = 1.59J.
That is very low in comparison to the 3.38 MJ used for Q_Ark. However, as we saw above, the cryocooler needed 1.32MJ per pad to inhibit ignition, and 300 pads would amount to 396MJ. That is a completely new level above and beyond the 3.38 MJ, let alone the 1.59J for the painter beam. So it made perfect sense to incorporate a scanner that would probe the ground in advance of the Ark's position, and freeze it only if a combustible was detected. The scanner and cryocooler would not extend too far forward, so that the human bearers would neither be scanned nor frozen.
Suppose 10 out of the 300 pads were found to include combustibles, and in that case the energy needed is 10 x 1.32 MJ = 13.2 MJ for the cryocooler, 3.38 MJ for Q_Ark, and 1.59J for the painter beam, a total of 16.58 MJ.
At 50% efficiency, this would require 1.84x10-10 kg of matter annihilating with 1.84x10-10 kg of antimatter.
This simplified model hasn't allowed for the energy cost of the Ark's active shielding, to protect the human carriers, and this could double the energy used in the Ark's vacuum sphere. But with the cryocooler requiring relatively high energy, a doubling of the energy for Q_Ark might only increase the total by barely more than 20%.
The active shielding was designed to protect those carrying with sticks in the authorized manner, for example, who did not get so close to the area beneath the vacuum sphere that they were within the 45° cone danger area. If some well-meaning person did not carry out the correct procedure and instead of carrying with sticks, got too close to the underside trying to steady the Ark when the oxen stumbled for example, they would be subjected to the massive electrical field.
And under the Assisted Carry mode, we have a total of 1.56x1010 V/m or 15.6 GV/m in that danger area. Values of more than 100kV/m could be lethal for humans, and 15.6 GV/m would certainly prove fatal.
Compare this with the alternative design, in which there is no painter beam, but a charge of 60.3C is needed to neutralize some 680kg of the Ark's 688kg mass, leaving a mere 2kg for each of the four bearers holding a rod. Now at 1m range the electric field is 5.42x1011 V/m, more than 30 times greater. And the energy consumed is ½ x 60.32 / 1.11x10-11 = 1.64x1014J, although that would be independent of the distance carried, if the carriers could somehow escape being cremated.
Once the Ark was in the Assisted Carry mode, its sensors would be listening for a certain voice command in Hebrew, which would take it into Low Altitude Flight mode. In order to save energy requirements and reduce environmental hazards, the painter beam method was also used here, rather than requiring a charge of ~70C which would also neutralize the mass of an 80kg pilot and leave a surplus to allow for ascension. The limitation of the painter beam flight was that the flight altitude was only in the range 3m - 40m, having to 'hug' the terrain, and it was not possible to fly over water because the charge would be conducted away too quickly.
The least energy consumption would have the flight at 3m, and the maximum at 40m. But in this case, the priority was to minimize energy consumption rather than avoid damage on the ground. In the Low Altitude Flight mode, the computer would find the optimal value for Q_Ark to minimize the total energy required for a particular flight. And this occurs when the Q_Ark energy equals the total painter beam energy.
Suppose there was to be z minutes at 3m altitude and y minutes at 40m altitude. Without showing all the working out, which uses the same approach as Assisted Carry above, the Hellians developed a function for the total energy required, expressed in terms of Q_Ark:

The first part, 4.504x1010 x Q_Ark2, is E_Ark, the energy required for Q_Ark, and the remainder is the energy consumed by the painter beam, E_Painter. Then the derivative is set to zero, and this shows what value of Q_Ark gives the least energy requirement. Under this balanced, optimized case, both the energy lost in Q_Ark and the energy consumed by the painter beam are equal.

Not only does the higher altitude require very much more energy, (40/3)2, but even a very short time at the higher altitude requires much more energy. Sometimes a flight would need to clear some obstacle, and the Ark would respond to the pilot making frantic hand signals, waving both hands rapidly in front of the keruvim.
Initially after receiving a valid voice command to fly, the Ark's vacuum sphere would have its plates charged to 0.03133 Coulombs. If there was enough signaling by the pilot to demand an ascent to 40m, the charge would be increased to 0.09617C. After one minute there would be a gentle descent, but if the pilot asked for another 9 minutes, say, Q_Ark would be increased to 0.1706C. There would be intermediate cases where only 20 meters was needed to safely clear an obstacle, in which case the charge would not be raised as much.
Ideally if 1 minute at 40m and 359 minutes at 3m, the 40-meter minute would come at the start rather than the end, so that the computer was aware that Q_Ark needed to be raised to 0.09617C, and this would provide a saving on the painter beam power. But in the case where there is 359 minutes at 3m, and a final minute at 40m at the end, instead of the other war round, the total energy required only increases from 833 MJ to ~872 MJ. Thus, rather than anticipate that there might be some 40m altitude flight, the Ark's computer would assume 3m for the entire flight and attempt to go for ~88 MJ, rather than risk unnecessarily wasting 745 MJ in an attempt to save 39 MJ.
In order to travel horizontally in the required direction, after the Ark had responded to hand signals for turning, the active shielding would be turned slightly so that the unshielded cone area beneath was off a little from 180° and there was more repulsion from the reverse compared to the forward direction.
The Ark would generally fly at 10 m/s. A faster velocity, associated with a greater deflection in the active shielding, would require an increased refresh rate for the painter beam, and to an extent the extra power requirement would be balanced out by the reduced time to complete a particular trip. But the drag force increases with the square of the velocity according to:
Fdrag = ½ x ρ x v2 x A x Cd , where:
ρ is the air density of ~1.2 kg/m3 at sea level, v is the velocity in m/s, A is the frontal cross-section, which we take as a little more than 0.75m x 1.25m, say 1m2 for the Ark, keruvim and pilot, and Cd is the drag coefficient which we take as 1.0 for this shape.
The energy required for the work performed in countering the drag force must be added to the energy required to levitate, as calculated above for E_Ark and E_Painter.
Suppose the flight is for 6 hours at 10 m/s, and so the distance traveled is 216km. The drag force Fdrag is 60N, and the work done in countering this is 60N x 216,000m = ~13MJ. If the typical 6-hour flight requires ~2-3 GJ, with about ten minutes at higher altitude to clear obstacles, then that energy for countering the drag force is still low compared to the energy used for the flight. However, if the speed is increased to 100m/s the drag force increases 100 times, and the total energy required increases by ~1.3 GJ.
The Type II antimatter reactors could dynamically inject precisely just as much fuel as was necessary for the particular energy demand at the time, in Low Altitude Flight mode, so if they required 1MJ of work to be performed for some task, and the overall efficiency was 50%, then 11.13 nanograms of antimatter and 11.13 nanograms of matter would be injected for annihilation, provided it was stocked in the reactor. But no more than needed. Fortunately for the pilot, the entire stock of antimatter would not be annihilated at once, and the being or human would live to see another day.
Antimatter refueling would be done from the ship's stores, so whether Yahweh or a robot, normal size or for fitting inside an Ark, the anti-hydrogen fuel would be guided magnetically into the 'mouth' of the being, along the 'throat' of a type of 'alimentary canal', until it was able to be guided into the reactor antimatter fuel tank. Type II beings would never try to pick up an antimatter pellet in their hand to put in their mouth; if they did, they would never make any mistake, or indeed ever do anything, again. Loading the matter fuel tank with hydrogen was a much simpler operation.
If a robot, or Yahweh, needed restocking with matter/antimatter, they would need to take one of the shuttle drone flights up to the mothership. However, the Ark's robot was locked inside the Ark, with the Mercy Seat sealed into place. It was not really possible for this robot to refuel itself, unless, say, Yahweh had taken the Ark away in a drone for safekeeping, and could do whatever he wanted to it, unseen by his carbon-based servants.
But the Assisted Carry and Low Altitude Flight modes required energy levels that were very low in comparison to the potential energy of a full tank of matter/antimatter. It was only the 'secret' mode of High Altitude Flight that required energy levels that were a significant fraction of a full tank, and so that mode would seldom be used.
The Hellians had managed to compress their anti-hydrogen / hydrogen fuel into a metallic state at a density of 600 kg/m3, which was contained in the matter/antimatter reactor's strategic reserve tanks. The reactor itself, typical for Hellian robot bodies, was a cylinder of length 0.2m and radius 0.2m.
The fuel tank for the hydrogen was a cylinder of length 0.1m and radius 0.05m. The total volume of 0.000785m3 was divided into two equal sections. The working fluid for dynamic injection, was compressed into a dense fluid of 50 kg/m3, a little below the density of liquid hydrogen, and just enough of it was dynamically injected for annihilation as required. The strategic tank reserves were in the metallic state at 600 kg/m3. Thus, the maximum hydrogen for matter / antimatter annihilation that could be stored in a full tank was 0.000392m3 x (600+50 kg/m3) = ~255g.
There were two toruses (or tori) of equal size wrapped around the cylinder. The minor radius r was 0.025m, so two (diameters) would fit along the 0.1m hydrogen cylinder length. The major radius R was the cylinder radius 0.05m plus the torus minor radius r; hence 0.075m, Thus, the volume of each torus was V = 2π2r2R = 0.000925m3. And so, this exceeded the volume of each cylinder half-section by a good margin, which was used for a vacuum gap where the antihydrogen was confined in a 12T magnetic field.
The antihydrogen was divided in the same manner as the hydrogen, with one torus as the working fluid tank, and one as the strategic reserves tank. When topping up the working fluid tank after some operation, the computer was very careful not to allow too much antihydrogen to pass through.
The total stored magnetic energy was 2 x 0.000925m3 x (12T)2 / (2 x 4π x 10-7) = ~106 kJ. They could achieve 1 MJ/kg with their confining magnets so in principle needed only 106g, although this was raised for an additional safety margin.
And so, the inner core tanks of cylinder and toruses extended over a length of the cylinder, 0.1m, and a radius of the cylinder radius plus the torus diameter, amounting to 0.1m. Surrounding this 0.003141m3 volume was the cryogenic cooling and control and capture mechanisms. This outer section extended to a length of 0.2m and a radius of 0.2m. Thus, its volume was (0.0251 - 0.003141) = ~0.022 m3.
The total mass of the Ark's upgraded antimatter generator was 20 kg, compared to 10 kg for the typical robot. Hellians generally worked on a basis of 1 GW/kg for their antimatter reactors, although they reckoned on 500 MW/kg for the miniature models, and so the Ark's maximum power output was ~10 GW.
The working fluid tanks both contained 0.000392m3 x 50 kg/m3 of fuel, which is 0.0196 kg. And the reactor could operate to 90% efficiency. Thus, the energy available when fully loaded is 0.9 x 2 x 0.0196 kg x (299,792,458m/s)2 = 3.17x1015J. Suppose some maneuver or operation required a power output of 1GW. In this case, the power could be sustained for 3.17x1015J / 109 J/s = 3.17x106 seconds = 36.7 days before transferring more fuel from the strategic to the working fluid reserves.
Or from all four chambers when fully loaded, the total energy available is ~4.12x1016J, which would allow for 476 days at 1GW, or 1,305 years at 1MW, or 1.305 million years at 1kW.
As we saw above, if the Ark was to go on a flight lasting six hours, with ten minutes at 40m altitude and the remainder at 3m, the energy used was 2.621 GJ, and so more than 15.7 million such flights could be performed (taking 10,759 years plus breaks!), less some reduction to allow for active screening and various low power tasks.
And so as calculated above, in order to initially 'charge' the magnetic traps to a field of 12 Tesla for the anti-hydrogen, containing it in a total volume (two toruses) of 0.00185m3, there was a one-time energy cost of (12T)2 x 0.00185m3 / (2 x 4π x 10-7) = ~106 kJ, prior to any loading of antimatter fuel. Thereafter, a current could be maintained indefinitely in the superconducting loop, and then the power requirement was shifted into cryogenic cooling.
An interesting feature is that a human equipped with a compass would be able to detect the Ark's magnetic field within a range of ~6m.
The heat that needed to be expelled from the robot, including the computer and cryogenic cooling for the fuel and the superconducting loops, was only around 10W, and the Hellians had achieved a coefficient of performance of 0.1, making the electrical requirement 100W. Thus, a power drain of that magnitude could be sustained for 13.05 million years, given a fully loaded antimatter reactor.
Then Yahweh told Moses they had to make a Table two cubits long, one cubit wide, and one-and-a-half cubits high. In a similar way to the Ark, it would be of acacia wood and overlaid with pure gold, and with a gold crown around it. There were to be four gold rings, fastened at the corners to the four legs, and to serve as holders for poles of acacia wood and overlaid with gold, to be used for carrying the Table.
Then they had to make plates, dishes, pitchers and bowls out of pure gold. And the showbread must be placed on the Table at all times.
Well if we take 25mm as the wood thickness for the flat section of the Table, then 1m x 0.5m x 0.025m is 0.0125m3, and the wood mass is 0.0125m3 x 800 kg/m3 = 10kg. Say the gold overlay is 1mm thick top and bottom, and so 2 x 1m x 0.5m x 0.001m is 0.001m3, which at 19,320 kg/m3 is a gold mass of ~19kg. Even with legs, etc., it's still going to be much lighter than the Ark and Mercy Seat. There was no reason to have any antigravity device or stealth security measures for the Table.
Yahweh ordered that they must make a Lampstand of pure, hammered gold. It must have three branches coming out of one side and three branches coming out the other side. In tradition this would come to be known as a Menorah, with seven branches including the central one that pointed up.
Then his next order was for the building of the Tabernacle, with ten curtains of fine, twisted linen, with blue, and purple, and scarlet, with keruvim. One curtain had to be 28 cubits (14m) in length and 4 cubits (2m) in breadth. Five curtains must be coupled together.
There were all sorts of fancy measures like loops of blue on the edge of one curtain from the edge of the seam, and clasps of gold that would couple the curtains together. Nothing was too grand for a pompous, mentally-diseased Type II being who loved to play 'god' and lord it over the minions who would serve as his little helpers to ruin and impede the progress of human civilization.
Curtains of goats' hair would be used to make a Tent over the Tabernacle. There were eleven of these curtains, which were each 30 cubits (15m) and 4 cubits (2m) in breadth. This Tent was coupled together with bronze. There was to be a covering made for it of rams' skins dyed red, and a covering over it of badgers' skins.
The Tabernacle was to have upright boards of acacia wood, and joints beneath them made from sockets of silver. Boards for the sides were also of acacia wood, and these boards were to be overlaid with gold. Whilst he was up on the mountain, Yahweh showed Moses a pattern demonstrating how the Tabernacle was to be set up.
There was to be a veil of blue, purple, scarlet, and fine twined linen that served as a divider between the Sanctuary and the Most Holy Place. The Ark of the Testimony was to be kept in the Most Holy Place. The Table and Lampstand were to be placed outside the veil, in the Sanctuary. And the entrance was also a hanging of blue, purple, scarlet, and fined twined linen. Both the veil and the entrance would have a hanging of acacia wood overlaid with gold.
The Tabernacle was to have a courtyard surrounding it, and in this courtyard they would build an altar of acacia wood 2.5m x 2.5m square with a height of 1.5m.
And the Israelites had to bring oil of pure beaten olives for the light, so that it would burn perpetually, and Aaron and his sons would keep it from evening to morning, in the Tent of Meeting outside the veil.
So basically the whole thing was a portable temple, a tent that could be set up wherever the Israelites had encamped, and its inner, most 'holy' section would be where the Ark was located, separated by the veil or second curtain, with the first curtain forming the entrance. In the courtyard surrounding it, animals would be sacrificed.
Having themselves mutilated as baby boys, following dumb customs such as celebrating mass murder and not being allowed to do certain things on one particular day of the week, and obeying a whole host of other crackpot 'laws' wasn't enough to keep themselves in this bully's good books. Now they had to build a portable temple to prove their devotion to him. Admittedly, it had taken about 600 years for them to come to such a predicament.
Then Yahweh ordered that Moses' brother Aaron and Aaron's sons Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar, must serve Yahweh as priests. And Moses must speak to the people to make special garments for Aaron and his sons. They had to make a breastplate, and an ephod (apron), and a robe, and an embroidered coat, a turban, and a sash.
The breastplate was the breastplate of judgment, and in it they had to put the Urim and the Thummin. And so they would be on Aaron's heart when he went in before Yahweh, and Aaron would continually bear the judgment of the sons of Israel on his heart before Yahweh.
Yahweh then followed with a detailed set of instructions on how they had to take gold, and blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen. They needed two onyx stones and must engrave on them the names of the sons of Israel. They had to engrave the two stones, the engraving of a signet, in sockets of gold. The breastplate must be made of gold, of blue, of purple, of scarlet, and fine, twined linen. There had to be chains of pure gold, and so on.
There had been no mention of any of these terms and conditions to Abram when he was told mutilation was a price he and his tribe had to pay to get the 'benefits'. It's easy to see why some would prefer to worship a golden calf, for example; they are so much less demanding.
Aaron and his sons had to wear linen undergarments to cover themselves from the loins to the thighs, whenever they came into the Tent of Meeting, or when they approached the altar to serve in the Sanctuary, so that they would not incur guilt and die.
Now the Ark would be in Standby mode much of the time, and if Yahweh was sat upon the Mercy Seat between the keruvim, he would have active shielding deployed over 360° both horizontally and vertically, in every conceivable direction in 3-d space. But with Yahweh's 7.1C charge, if he was flying, even at a 10m range that would be 638 MV/m within the unshielded cone, resulting in instant death for humans.
If Yahweh decided to use his painter beam, and optimized his charge so as to minimize the electric field on the ground, assuming a separation r_Ground of 1mm for the painter beam and r_Yahweh of 3m for his flying height, then his internal charge had to be set to 2.66C and his painter beam would deposit a charge of 295 nanoCoulombs on the ground. The contribution from Yahweh's internal charge would be k x 2.66C / (3m)2 = 2.66 GV/m, which, within rounding differences, matches the contribution from k x 2.95x10-7C / (1mm)2 = 2.65 GV/m, making the total ~5.31 GV/m.
This, from the 80 kg Yahweh, compares with a total of 15.6 GV/m for the 688 kg Ark in its Assisted Carry mode, also optimized for safety. That total electric field on the ground, when minimized, is proportional to the square root of the object's mass. In order to get a minimum total voltage of only 3 MV/m for example, the mass of the object would need to go down to 25.6 milligrams.
But even with active shielding for Yahweh's charge globes, tiny inequalities would lead to kV/m or tens of kV/m at close range, and they could expect tingling skin and a hair-raising experience. All the garments could provide some mitigation, and the breastplate would serve like a Faraday shield to help protect the heart.
Yahweh eventually got to the part where all the specifications for the garments had been set out, and then gave his orders on how sacrifices needed to be carried out to consecrate the priests.
They had to take one young bullock and two rams without blemish, and unleavened bread, and unleavened cakes poured over with oil, and unleavened wafers anointed with oil. They had to make them out of fine wheat flour, put them in a basket, and bring them in the basket with the bullock and the two rams.
Moses had to bring Aaron and his sons to the entrance of the Tent of Meeting, and wash them with water, and take the garments, and clothe Aaron with the coat, and the robe of the ephod, and the ephod, and the breastplate, and he had to be dressed with the embroidered band of the ephod. Moses must put the turban on his head, and put the appointed crown on the turban, then take the anointing oil and anoint him by pouring it on his head.
Moses had to bring Aaron's sons and clothe them with coats, and with sashes, and put their headdresses on them, and consecrate Aaron and his sons.
The bullock had to be brought before the Tent of the Assembly, and Aaron and his sons had to put their hands on its head. Then the bullock had to be slaughtered - one of Yahweh's favorite parts of the action, at the entrance of the Tent of Assembly.
Some of the bullock's blood had to be smeared on the horns of the altar with their fingers, and the rest of the blood had to be poured at the base of the altar. The fat had to be burnt at the altar. But the flesh and skin had to be burnt with fire outside the camp. It was a sin offering.
The first ram, after Aaron and his sons had put their hands on its head, must be slaughtered, and the blood sprinkled all the way around the altar. After the ram was cut into pieces it had to be burnt on the altar as a burnt offering to Yahweh, a soothing fragrance, an offering made by fire to this wicked, bloodthirsty devil, who perceived evil as 'good' and good as 'evil'.
The second ram, after Aaron and his sons had put their hands on its head, had to be slaughtered, and some of its blood put on the tip of the right ear of Aaron, and on the tip of the right ear of his sons, and on the thumb of the right hand, and on the large toe of their right foot, and the blood had to be sprinkled all around the altar.
Again, this was rather reminiscent of Yahweh's ritual in which the right ear of a servant who wished to serve his master for the rest of his life would be pierced with an awl, and the symbolic right ear 'piercing' that was faked when a US presidential candidate took tomato ketchup from his shoe and smeared it on the top of his right ear and then along his face, in a staged 'assassination attempt' aimed at boosting the candidate's votes.
Some of the blood on the altar, and some of the anointing oil, had to be sprinkled on Aaron, and on his garments, and on his sons, and on their garments, and thus, Aaron, the sons, and the garments, would be "consecrated", or more accurately, humiliated and tainted. It's almost unbelievable that anyone could fall for the idea that a god would ask his worshipers to engage in such pointless butchery, but intelligence or philosophy wasn't exactly the forte of these simple shepherds.
After Yahweh continued to spout more babble about a wave offering, a heave offering, peace offerings, and other assorted lunacies, he began talking about daily offerings of a bullock for a sin offering, and lambs for a drink offering. Yahweh needed to get his daily fix of bloodletting; he'd spent about fifty years searching for a suitable mug to groom for servitude, during which he had devoted far too much time formulating his plans, and now that his investment was starting to pay off in a big way, he would enjoy it as long as it lasted.
They were ordered to build an altar of acacia wood, overlaid with pure gold, on which incense of spices must be burned every morning. Aaron had to burn the incense when he dressed the lamps, and then he had to burn it at twilight when he lit the lamps, as a perpetual incense before Yahweh, throughout their generations.
Yahweh was hungry for shekels. He told Moses that when he took a count of the number of the sons of Israel, every man must give a redemption price for his life to Yahweh, so that there might be no plague amongst them when they were numbered. So now, Yahweh has got into protection racketeering.
The price was half a shekel, which every man must give. After mutilating themselves and all the other things they've done for Yahweh, now they have to pay a head tax.
They had to make a basin of bronze, placed between the altar and the Tent of Assembly, and this needed to be filled with water for Aaron and his sons to wash their hands and feet before they went into the Tent, or approached the altar to serve, to burn an offering made by fire to Yahweh, so that they did not die.
They had to make a special anointing oil of choice spices, of myrrh, sweet cinnamon, fragrant cane, and cassia, and of olive oil. This had to be used to anoint the Tent of the Assembly, the Ark of the Covenant, the Table and all its utensils, the Lampstand and its utensils, and the altar of incense, and the altar of burnt offerings with all its utensils, and the washing basin and its foot. The sons of Israel were to be told that this was a holy compound, and it must not be poured on the flesh of a man. Any unauthorized man who tried to make a compound like it, or who gave from it to a stranger, would be cut off from his people.
They had to make a perfume from sweet spices, stacte, onycha, galbanum, sweet spices with pure frankincense. Some of it had to be ground into fine powder and put before the Testimony in the Tent of the Assembly, where Yahweh would meet with them. It would be specially appointed for them, and any unauthorized man who made a likeness to it would be cut off from his people.
Then Yahweh read out some names of craftsmen, and said that they had been filled with the spirit of Elohim, in wisdom, in knowledge, in understanding, and in all manner of workmanship, so that they could perform all the work and skilful tasks as he had commanded. These people had been targeted by Yahweh's nanobots, that had entered through their nose, mouth or skin as they were sleeping, and traveled to the brain to rewire neural circuits, enhancing fine motor skills, and uploading blueprints into the memory so as to bypass traditional learning.
And Yahweh reminded Moses that the sons of Israel must continue to observe his commandment about the Sabbath, and that anyone who worked on the Sabbath should be put to death. This was supposedly because Yahweh had made the Earth and the heavens in six days, then had rested and caught his breath on the seventh day. Of course, that tale of Yahweh was a total pack of lies. Yahweh could not have created a heaven, but he did seek to create hell on Earth.
When Yahweh had finally finished his communing with Moses on Mount Sinai, he gave him two tablets of Testimony, two tablets of stone, written with the finger of Elohim. More accurately, the outer layer showing the testimonies in Hebrew had been engraved in Yahweh's spacecraft, and the interior that contained more than the sum of human knowledge, and a significant proportion of Hellian knowledge, had been engineered at an atomic scale in Yahweh's spacecraft.
When the people saw that Moses delayed coming down from the mountain, they gathered themselves together to Aaron, and said to him, "Come, let us make a god which will go ahead of us. As for this Moses, who brought us out of Egypt, we do not know what has become of him."
And Aaron told them to break off the golden earrings in the ears of their wives, sons and daughters, and bring them to him.
And most of the people did as he said, and they brought the golden earrings to Aaron. Then Aaron took them and fashioned them with a graving tool, and cast them into a golden calf. Then the people said, "This is your god, oh Israel, that brought you up out of the land of Egypt."
Aaron built an altar ahead of it, and said, "Tomorrow is a feast to Yahweh".
The next morning they rose early and offered burnt offerings and brought peace offerings, and the people sat down to eat and drink, and indulge in revelry.
Naturally, Yahweh's locust drones were monitoring events and relaying the signals to Yahweh. And so he said to Moses, "Go! Get down! For your people whom you brought out of the land of Egypt have corrupted themselves. They have quickly turned aside out of the way I commanded them. They have made themselves a molten calf, and they have worshiped it and sacrificed to it, and they said, 'This is your god, Israel, that brought you up out of the land of Egypt'."
And Yahweh asked Moses to leave him alone so that his anger might burn against them, and so that he might consume them. However, he would make of Moses a vast nation.
Moses pleaded with Yahweh to spare his people whom he had brought out of Egypt with immense power and with a mighty hand. He asked why should the Egyptians be able to say that Yahweh brought them out to kill them in the mountains, and consume them from the face of the Earth. He pleaded with Yahweh to turn from his fierce anger and relent of the evil against his people. And he reminded Yahweh of his servants Abraham, Isaac and Israel, and how he had promised to multiply their seed like the stars of the heavens, and to give their seed the land he had promised them.
And Yahweh relented, and did not harm his people as he thought he would do.
Of course, the promises of a devil, a mentally diseased Type II civilization being, are worthless, and such a being can easily become so consumed with anger that it will be considering using its vaporizer beam to punish a group of people that it has invested so much time and energy into. But in the end, its self-interest takes priority, and when it thinks about how vengeance would thwart its plan to create a vast nation of saboteurs to emasculate mankind and prevent them from progressing in the same way that life on Heaven - the former name of the planet now known as Hell, had advanced to allow them to harness their Sun's energy with Dyson swarms for more than a billion years, it will relent.
Moses turned and went down from the mountain, and the two stone tablets of the Testimony were in his hand. From Moses' perception, they were written or engraved on both sides, the work of Yahweh his Elohim.
Joshua heard the sound of the people shouting, and said, "A noise of war is in the camp."
And Moses replied, " It is not the sound of a call for victory, nor the sound of a call for defeat, it is the sound of singing I am hearing."
Then as Moses approached the camp, he saw the calf and the dancing, and Moses' anger glowed, and he threw the tablets out of his hands and broke them at the base of the mountain. Then he took the calf that they had made, burned it in the fire, ground it to powder, and scattered it over the face of the water. Then he made the sons of Israel drink it.
Moses said to Aaron, "What did the people do to you that you have brought on them so terrible a sin?"
Aaron replied, "Do not let the anger of my lord glow hot. You know the people, that they are set on evil. For they said to me, 'Make us a god that will go ahead of us. For this Moses, who brought us out of Egypt, we do not know what has become of him.' And I said to them, 'Whoever has any gold, let them break it off.' So they gave it me, then I threw it in the fire, and out came the calf."
Given the sheer evil of Yahweh, Aaron's use of the graving tool to fashion the gold and cast it into a molten calf would have been a good move if only it had succeeded in taking the people on another path. But Yahweh's pet Moses considered the people to be running wild, and he believed Aaron had let them get out of control, to shame among their enemies. And Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and he said, "Whoever is on Yahweh's side, let him come to me."
Sadly for humanity, all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together to Moses, and he said to them, "Yahweh Elohim of Israel says this, 'Let every man put his sword by his thigh. Go in and out from gate-to-gate throughout the camp, and let every man kill his brother, his companion, and his neighbor'."
The 40 days and 40 nights up on the mountain with Yahweh had turned Moses full circle, from a one-time patriot who would even resort to vigilante 'justice' against a foreigner who was oppressing his people, to a Stockholm Syndrome case, who would gladly decimate his own people and side with a much more powerful, alien oppressor who was posing as a 'savior'. But this was probably the result of Yahweh conducting a form of hypnotism upon Moses, priming him to do as he wished.
And the sons of Levi acted as Moses had said, and about 3,000 men of the people fell that day.
Moses said, "Fill your hand today for Yahweh - since everyone has been against his son, and against his brother - so that he might bestow a blessing on you this day."
And the next morning Moses said to the people, "You have committed a terrible sin, and now I will go up to Yahweh. Perhaps I will make an atonement for your sin."
And Moses returned to Yahweh, and said, "Oh, this people have committed a terrible sin, and they have made themselves a god of gold. Yet now, if you will forgive their sin... but if not, I ask you, blot me out of your scroll that you have written."
And Yahweh said to Moses, "Whoever has sinned against Me I will blot him out of My Scroll. So go now. Lead the people to the place about which I have spoken to you, and my Angel will go ahead of you. Nevertheless, in the day when I visit, I will visit punishment on them for their sin."
And Yahweh plagued the people, because of what they did with the calf that Aaron had fashioned.
Yahweh said to Moses, "Depart. Go up from here, you and the people who you have brought up out of the land of Egypt to the land that I swore to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, saying, 'To your seed I will give it', - and I will send the Angel ahead of you, and I will drive out the Canaanite, the Amorite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, the Hivite and the Jebusite - to a land flowing with milk and honey, for I will not go up in your midst, for you are a stiff-necked people, in case I consume you on the way."
When the people heard this bad report they mourned, and nobody put on their ornaments, for after threatening to "consume" them, Yahweh had said to Moses to tell them, "You are a stiff-necked people. I could come up into your midst in one moment and consume you. So now, put off your ornaments from yourselves, so that I might know what to do to you."
So the sons of Israel stripped themselves of their ornaments at Mount Horeb.
Moses had pitched the Tent outside the camp, and he called it the Tent of Meeting. Anyone who searched for Yahweh would go to the Tent of Meeting outside the camp. And whenever Moses went out to the Tent, all the people would rise up and each man stood at the entrance to his own tent and looked at Moses until he had gone into the Tent.
As Moses entered the Tent the cloudy pillar would descend and stand at the entrance to the Tent, and Yahweh talked with Moses. And all the people saw the cloudy pillar stand at the Tent entrance, and all the people stood up and worshiped, each man at his own tent entrance.
And Yahweh would speak to Moses as a man speaking to his friend, a bit like if it were face-to-face. However, Yahweh would be in one of his drones; he had sent down an orb semi-biological avatar that could interact with Moses in real time, without killing (or "consuming") Moses and other onlookers as would be the case if Yahweh personally attended and made a controlled descent with his active shielding off. And Yahweh considered it beneath him to land a mile or two away and walk along to his servants, even if using his pillar of cloud camouflage.
Then Moses would turn back from the camp, but his assistant Joshua, the son of Nun, a young man, would remain in the Tent.
And Moses said to Yahweh, "See! You say to me, 'Bring up the people', and you have not let me know whom you will send with me. Yet you have said, 'I know you by name, and you have also found merciful goodwill in my sight.' Now therefore I ask you, if I have found merciful goodwill in your sight, show me now your way, so that I might know you, so that I might find merciful goodwill in your sight, and consider that the nation is your people."
And Yahweh said, "My Presence will go, and I will give you rest."
And Moses replied, "If your presence will not go, do not make us go up from here. And now how can it be known that I and your people have found mercy in your sight? Is it not in your being with us, and our being separated, I and your people, from all the nations on the face of the Earth?"
Yahweh said to Moses, "This thing that you have spoken I will do for you as well, for you have found merciful goodwill in My sight, and I know you by name."
Moses, wanting to see who or what it was behind the pillar of cloud, said, "Let me see, I implore you, your magnificent splendor."
Yahweh said, "I will make all My goodness pass before you, and I will proclaim the name of Yahweh before you, and I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and I will show mercy to whom I will show mercy."
Given that all of Yahweh's "goodness", if fitted on the edge of a razor blade, would be like a pea rolling down a motorway, this was an easy statement for him to make. And the rest of it was quite noncommittal too.
And Yahweh said, "You cannot see My face, for no man can see Me and live."
This was actually a lie, since if Yahweh had his active shielding deployed in all directions and approached a human being by walking to them, the sight of him would not be harmful.
Part of the reason was that he couldn't be bothered to land some way away and approach a human on foot. But mostly it was because he didn't want any human to see what he really was, a robot, humanoid body, with multiple sensors all around the head. This view would not show off his high-performance internal brain comprised of silicon chips, or his internal charge globe for antigravity, or his small antimatter reactor.
Yahweh wanted to maintain the legend of his 'magnificent splendor', and his status as a 'god' or "Elohim", and he would rather kill any human than see himself taken down a peg or two.
In some cases he would disperse orbs as a semi-biological avatar to communicate with humans. When he was dealing with one of his favorite, most fawning servants, who was playing a crucial role in his plans, he would meet them on a mountain top - which solved the problem of having to walk to them - the dupe would climb up to him. But to maintain the legend, there would still be some element of disguise, such as the pillar of cloud, as the human was allowed to get close to the real Yahweh with active shielding fully deployed.
And Yahweh said, "See now, there is a place near Me, and you shall stand on the rock. And it shall come to pass, as My magnificent splendor is passing by, that I will put you in a cleft of the rock, and I will cover you with My hand while I am passing by. And I will take away My hand, and you will see My back, but My face will not be seen."
In that trick of Yahweh's, Moses would only be allowed to see some of Yahweh's back, but not even the back of the head with its cameras and microphones. The rest of Yahweh would still be hidden from his view by swarms of nanobots or detachable orbs, that would appear as a pillar of cloud or light.
And Yahweh said to Moses, "Cut two tablets of stone like the first, and I will write on the tablets the words that were on the first tablets that you broke. And be ready in the morning and come up in the morning to Mount Sinai, and present yourself there to Me at the top of the mountain. And no man shall come up with you, nor let any man be seen throughout all the mountain, nor let the sheep nor herds graze before that mountain."
And Moses cut two tablets of stone like the first. And Moses rose early in the morning, and he climbed up Mount Sinai as Yahweh had commanded, and he took the two tablets of stone in his hand. And Yahweh descended in the cloud, and stood with Moses there, and he proclaimed his name, Yahweh.
Yahweh's drone was above them, concealed from view by a hologram of a cloud. Once any necessary holographic projections had been concluded, the drone would land, under autopilot, with coordinates specified by Yahweh, and under supervision of one of his robots.
Yahweh's charge was set to a little below 7.07C, to generate just enough uplift to enable him to make a gradual descent. As he approached Moses, he had to be offset by some distance in the horizontal plane, and initially his arm movements, and small charges located in the end of the forearms, allowed him to 'swim' to the desired horizontal coordinates. And so, as he neared Moses all active shielding would be deployed apart from the direction pointing down, to brake his descent. The active shielding in the diagonally downwards direction pointing to Moses would be fully on, so that Moses was not subjected to an enormous electric field.
And Yahweh passed by before Moses, and he proclaimed, "Yahweh, Yahweh, El, merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness and faithfulness, keeping loving kindness for thousands, forgiving perverseness and rebellion and sin, and not leaving entirely unpunished, visiting the perverseness of the fathers on the sons, and on the sons' sons, to the third and the fourth generation."
It almost seems like Yahweh had some sort of sense of 'humor' here, in presenting himself as having so many qualities that were the polar opposite of his true nature, although the final part was more truthful. However, it served his purpose to say this, since it is what he wanted Moses and his followers to believe.
And Moses hurried, and he bowed his head towards the ground and worshiped.
And Moses said, "If now I have found merciful goodwill in your sight, oh Adonai, let Adonai, please, go among us, for this is a stiff-necked people, and may you pardon our iniquity and our sin, and take us for your inheritance."
And Yahweh said, "See now, I am making a Covenant. Before all your people, I will perform wonders such as have not been done in all the Earth, nor in any nation, and all the people who you are among will see the work of Yahweh, for it is a wonderful thing that I will do with you."
Well, wonders such as the construction of the pyramids had already been done by Yahweh's sane, benevolent compatriots, who had arrived on Earth before him. But it was true that Yahweh's work to ruin the progress of human civilization had never been seen before on Earth, and indeed, on all known habitable planets in the Milky Way galaxy. Even on the planet formerly known as Heaven, or when it became Hell as a result of its dying Sun, there had never been a demented, crazed alien invader grooming a particular minority group to serve as saboteurs, which is why Heaven had seen such tremendous and consistent advances over billions of years. But Yahweh's concept of "wonderful" aligned with normal people's idea of uniquely destructive.
Yahweh continued, "Observe what I command you this day. See now, I am about to drive out before you the Amorite, and the Canaanite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Hivite, and the Jebusite. Be careful not to make any treaty with the inhabitants of the land where you go, in case they become a snare in your midst. But you shall destroy their altars, break their sacred pillars, and cut down their groves, for you will worship no other god but Yahweh."
Sadly, more than three thousand years into the future, Yahweh's malign influence would still be a powerful force on Earth, and Moses' descendants would be destroying their rivals' churches, and even uprooting and destroying their olive trees. Not to mention all their other atrocities, such as dropping several 2,000lb bunker busting bombs to destroy a refugee camp, killing dozens of women and children - and spouting some lame excuse about killing a "terrorist".
Yahweh continued with the admission that he was a "jealous El", and he didn't want his servants to make a treaty with the inhabitants of a land and then go "whoring after" their gods, or sacrifice to their gods, or eat from their sacrifices, or intermarry with foreigners so that the descendants might then go "whoring after their gods". Yahweh said that they must make no molten gods for themselves.
At this point, Yahweh reiterated a host of nonsense, much of which he had already babbled on about before. For example, his servants must rest on the seventh day. Every male must appear before Yahweh, Elohim of Israel, three times in the year. They must not offer the blood of his sacrifice with leaven. They must not boil a young goat in the milk of its mother.
Then Yahweh told Moses to "Write these words, for by the declaration of these words I have made a Covenant with you and with Israel."
And Moses was there with Yahweh for forty days and forty nights. Moses was left unaware of eating bread or drinking water throughout that time. In fact, Yahweh's robots did bring supplies of water by the second day; Yahweh didn't want his most important servant to die of thirst. Whilst information was being transmitted electronically to Moses' brain, his memories of drinking were also erased.
And Moses wrote on the tablets the words of the Covenant, the ten commandments.
In fact, at some point unseen to Moses, Yahweh had switched the two stone tablets that Moses had brought up for two others that had already been engineered internally at an atomic scale in his spacecraft. They contained around 1020 bits per cubic centimeter, and had several times the total of human knowledge, and even a significant proportion of Hellian / Heavenly knowledge. It would take around another 3,250 years before that data was exploited, although not in a way that would benefit humanity...
The stone tablets that Moses wrote the ten commandments on were the switched tablets, with well over 1020 bits of memory, to serve as external hard drives that could be read by the Ark's computer.
And when Moses came down from Mount Sinai, clutching the two tablets of stone in his hands, he did not know that the skin of his face was radiating from his encounter with Yahweh. Then when Aaron and the sons of Israel saw Moses, the skin of his face was shining, and they were afraid to come near him.
Even Type II technology is not instantaneous. The 40 days was the time it took to engineer the replacement stone tablets, internally encode and write the 1020 bits per cubic centimeter of data, and to do some neural interlinking with Moses' brain.
And Yahweh pretended to have built the heavens and the Earth in six days, but took almost six weeks to retrain Moses and manufacture a couple of replacement stones from backup data!!!
Even more insane and risible was Yahweh's claim to have created mankind in his image, which after studying the facts, only an imbecile could believe. Yahweh's 'parents' were silicon chip-based beings, and although most of his 'ancestors' had decent enough moral values, Yahweh's time in the decreasing entropy virtual reality had left him with a "south-facing" moral compass. He had totally lost any sense of empathy or shared values of the carbon-based biological lifeforms that his ancestors used to be, well over a billion years ago, and now he perceived evil as 'good', and good as 'evil'.
No! Yahweh did not create mankind, nor did he create them in his image. What he was working to do was to shape, subvert, pervert and corrupt into his sick, degenerate image a minority group of an emerging civilization with a tremendous potential, in order to thwart and ruin their progress and development into the moral, caring, humane - and economically and technologically wealthy - society they could have become. A society where any government would have policies that benefited the people it was supposed to represent, as opposed to actively harming them whilst benefiting and enriching the minority group that ran the banks, the media, and the blackmail and bribery operations.
Moses' face is described as "shining" or "radiant". There are some intriguing alternative explanations, but we should take the simplest, most prosaic account here. He spent 40 days at high altitude exposed to sunshine, and he was fasting and was dehydrated (albeit not enough to kill him).
So for 40 days he was exposed to more intense than usual ultraviolet radiation. The outer epidermal layer is damaged, leading to a shiny, translucent appearance. The dehydration and fasting could exacerbate skin sensitivity and transparency. Edema (swelling) can create a smooth, reflective surface. Moses' appearance was certainly changed temporarily, and he wore a veil, partly to protect his skin, and partly to avoid alarming people.
It could be asked why didn't Moses' face shine when he came down after the first 40-day stint up the mountain with Yahweh, but this question would remain even if there were some supernatural reason for the shining. In fact, during the first period of tuition he was probably facing north most of the time, and was sitting south-facing over the final period. And he was more fasted and dehydrated the second time; there is no mention of abstinence of food or drink for the first time, and Yahweh may have provided something if he was in need.
An interesting alternative scenario would have Moses being taken into one of Yahweh's drones to have electrodes connected to his head, so that he could be more efficiently programmed with 'knowledge' as Yahweh desired, and then bioluminescent dinoflagellates, picked up with the red bloom that Yahweh had been experimenting on in preparation for his "Nile turns to blood" trick, that hadn't been fully washed away, form a coating on Moses' face. Then dinoflagellate luciferase from emitted scintillons can produce an eerie glow.
But that has too many flaws, such as the light being too weak to see in daylight, and not able to persist for more than a few minutes. And Yahweh would transmit wirelessly to people's brains; he did not bother with electrodes and abductions.
Moses called Aaron and the rulers of the assembly, and they returned to him, and he talked with them. Then he instructed them on everything Yahweh had spoken with him on Mount Sinai. When Moses finished speaking with them, he put a veil on his face. He'd been at least summarizing a 40-day discussion without a veil, so the veil was more about his own comfort and protection than preventing alarm.
If Moses went in to speak with Yahweh (in the Tent), he took the veil off until he came back out. He would start speaking to the sons of Israel, put the veil back on his face, and take it off when going in to speak to Yahweh, or at least, the orb avatar.
Moses gathered together the assembly of all the sons of Israel, and told them about Yahweh's orders. They had to work for six days only, and whoever worked on the seventh day would be put to death.
Everyone of a willing heart would 'volunteer' to make a heave offering, to bring to Yahweh gold, silver, bronze, blue, purple, scarlet, fine linen, goats' hair, rams' skins dyed red, badgers' skins, acacia wood, oil for a lamp, spices for anointing oil and for sweet incense, onyx stones, and stones to be set for an ephod and a breastplate. The days of a less demanding god, who 'only' wanted followers to disfigure themselves, were well and truly gone.
And every wise-hearted man among them must come and construct everything Yahweh had commanded. The Tabernacle, the Tent, the Ark, the Mercy Seat, the Table, the Lampstand - and Moses went into some more detail of the various components to be constructed.
Then all the assembly of the sons of Israel departed, and then everyone, men and women, whose spirit was lifted, and whose heart was willing - in other words, the more cerebrally challenged or credulous amongst them, returned carrying the heave offering as commanded. They brought bracelets, earrings, rings, tablets, all jewels of gold, and silver, and acacia wood, and onyx stones, and everything ordered by Yahweh.
And Moses said that Yahweh had called by name Bezalel and Oholiab, who had been filled with Yahweh's "wisdom", to enable them to perform various works and to teach others, and Moses ordered the sons of Israel to "let" them, and every wise-hearted man in whom Yahweh had put the necessary wisdom and understanding, carry out everything as Yahweh had commanded.
And Moses called Bezalel, Oholiab and others to carry out the work. And they received from Moses all the heave offerings that the people had brought, for the work of the service of making the Sanctuary. And still more freewill offerings were brought every morning.
Then all the wise craftsmen came, to do every kind of work for the Sanctuary, and they told Moses that the people had already brought far more than was needed to complete the work. So Moses ordered that the people should stop bringing any more offerings, for they already had a surplus. Then the craftsmen carried out the work as Yahweh had commanded.
The gold used for all the work in the Sanctuary was 29 talents and 730 shekels. A talent was 3,000 shekels, and a shekel was about 11.5 grams, so 87,730 shekels was ~1,009kg or 2,224lb.
From our previous calculation, we have 514kg of gold for the Ark, most of that comprised in the Mercy Seat. So 1,009 - 514 kg leaves 495kg.
The Lampstand and all utensils (cups, "buds" and "petals") was constructed from one talent (34.5kg) of pure gold. So the remaining gold is 495 - 34 kg = 461kg.
The upright frames for the Tabernacle were acacia wood overlaid with gold, as were the crossbars, and there were gold rings to hold the crossbars.
Gold was included in the garments such as the breastplate, ephod and turban, although even the breastplate included blue, purple and scarlet as well as gold.
The veil was hung with gold hooks on four posts of acacia wood, overlaid with gold and standing on four silver bases.
The Table of showbread was overlaid with gold, and there were four gold rings and poles overlaid with gold.
The altar of incense was overlaid with gold and placed in front of the veil that was before the Ark of the Testimony - before the Mercy Seat.
There were 50 gold clasps to join the curtains. And the entrance curtain had five posts of acacia wood overlaid with gold hooks, standing on five bronze bases.
All the upright frames would have amounted to quite a large cross-sectional area, and if we deduct a talent (34.5kg) for the table overlay and a talent for the incense altar overlay, and another 10kg for other miscellaneous smaller items such as gold hooks for the veil and gold rings and chains in the breastplate, that leaves 461 - (69 + 10) = 382 kg for all the overlays on the frames.
There were twenty frames for the south side and twenty for the north side, plus eight for the rear, the west side, including two for the back corners. Each frame was 10 cubits (5m) x 1½ cubits (750mm), so if we take one side of that as overlaid, the total area is 48 x 5 x 0.75 = 180 m2.
The volume of the remaining 382kg of gold is 382kg / 19,320kg/m3 = 0.0198m3. Thus, 0.0198 / 180 = 1.1x10-4 = 110 microns average plating thickness.
And the total silver used for building the Sanctuary was 100 talents and 1,775 shekels, which is 100 x 3,000 + 1,775 = 301,775 shekels = 3,470kg.
The 100 talents was used to make the 100 sockets, a talent for a socket. And the remaining 1,775 shekels was used to make clasps for the pillars.
And the total bronze used for building the Sanctuary was 70 talents and 2,400 shekels = 212,400 shekels = 2,443kg.
Finally, all the work of the Tabernacle of the Tent of Meeting was finished, and the sons of Israel had foolishly done everything just as their tormentor Yahweh had commanded Moses.
So they brought everything to Moses: The Tabernacle, the Tent and all its furniture, the Ark of the Testimony, the Mercy Seat, the garments for the priest Aaron and his sons, and everything else. Moses inspected all the work, and saw that it had been performed as Yahweh had commanded. And Moses blessed them.
Then Yahweh said to Moses that on the 1st day of the 1st month he should set up the Tabernacle of the Tent of Meeting. And he should put in it the Ark of the Testimony, and screen off the Ark with the veil.
From a functional standpoint, the Ark was the most important object, and the other items would serve to safeguard it, and to massage Yahweh's ego. But Moses could never have conceived that after more than another 3,400 years had passed, the Ark would still be exerting a malign influence on the affairs of Planet Earth...
Moses was ordered to bring in the Table, to set in order the things associated with it, and to bring in the Lampstand and set up its lamps.
He was told to set up the altar of incense before the Ark of the Testimony, and to put up the hanging of the entrance to the Tabernacle. He had to set up the altar of the burnt offering before the entrance.
He was commanded to set the basin between the Tent of Meeting and the altar, and put water in it. And he should set up the court all the way round, and hang up the hanging at the court gate.
He was directed to take the anointing oil and anoint the Tabernacle, and everything in it, and consecrate everything there. He had to anoint the altar of the burnt offering and all its utensils, and consecrate the altar. And he had to anoint the basin and its base and consecrate it.
Yahweh demanded that Moses bring Aaron and his sons to the entrance of the Tent of Meeting, and wash them with water. He had to put the appointed garments on Aaron, and anoint him, and consecrate him, so that he could serve Yahweh in the priest's office.
Moses was ordered to bring Aaron's sons and clothe them with coats, and to anoint them and consecrate them as he would do with their father, so that they also could serve Yahweh in the priest's office. First they had chosen to mutilate themselves, and now they had to comply with an ever-increasing set of commands, all in the hope of somehow getting lucky.
And Moses carried it all out, just as Yahweh had ordered. And it came about that the Tabernacle was erected in the 1st month, in the 2nd year, on the 1st day of the month.
So Moses did all this work, as instructed to do so by Yahweh. He raised up the Tabernacle, fastened its sockets, set up its boards, put in its bars, and raised up its pillars. He did everything as commanded by Yahweh, and surely with assistance from his coreligionists.
Then a cloud covered the Tent of Meeting, and the magnificent splendor of Yahweh filled the Tabernacle.
The cloud was Yahweh's disguise, since he never wanted anyone to see him as he really was, and his "magnificent splendor", was as usual the sparks flying from the top of his head as he shed electrons to allow a gradual descent. His active shielding would increasingly be turned on as he descended, in all but the vertical direction. And the cloud served as a warning for everyone not to go into the Tent; if they did, the electrical field would fry them and they would be dead.
And Moses was not able to enter the Tent of Meeting because the cloud remained over it, and the magnificent splendor of Yahweh filled the Tabernacle.
Now Yahweh wanted to savor the moment, as his minions had just carried out all this work and built him his Tabernacle. He wanted to see how it felt to be in his own Tabernacle, sat upon the Ark's Mercy Seat, without having to employ any additional disguises inside that would distort his view of the interior, And after all, he had done enough communicating with Moses for the moment; he wanted to rest and 'catch his breath'.
And whenever the cloud was taken up from over the Tabernacle, the sons of Israel carried on in all their journeys. But if the cloud was not taken up, then they did not travel until the day when it was. The cloud of Yahweh was over the Tabernacle by day, and fire was over it at night, as seen by the Israelites.
